The wish

The feeling
Familiar

Our life
Part of us

This can’t be

Break free
A man I am, inner me

Ultimately foresee
In him I seek closure from tyranny

Louder than before
Standing tall no more

Words fall
Hear whisper call

Two Clocks in Separate Places

Two clocks keeping separate times
One I hear everyday
The other I can’t hear its too far away
And how would I know so much
If it wasn’t for knowing you

I can only dream the same way
Perhaps having lost my way
I journey lonely in my dreams
Where distance doesn’t mean
We will always be far away

In both our dreams are awoken
The words that are left unspoken
That distance measured in miles
No matter will still create smiles
This bond remains unbroken

And only when chance is taken
And out of our dreams awaken
The two clocks will synchronize
Our dreams will then materialize
For all time is in the making

The Flower

If I were a flower
Would I wither away
Or would I flourish
To the light today
To see the bee
Come to me
My scent so sweet
To make honey
O such joy
I bring to my love
Like the sight of a dove
Time is short and goes so fast
From in a field
To in a vase
So be like me
Live freely
Long may you be
Forever happy

Burning Forests

How can I make this up to you
An old woman called Gaia
I took from you all I pleased
More a robber than messiah
Finding a field full of treasure
A drink from your fresh brook
From the nectar of your bees
The honey made of your flowers
I washed in your cold streams
I dug into your fertile earth
Planting a vineyard of pleasure
I caught fish and trapped game
Cooking them over an open fire
I nourished my body, soul, and mind
Never once did I pay for a thing
Because you were everything to me
Everything I would ever need
Now I look back and wonder
Whatever happened to my plunder
For now it is my turn as well
To give back as well I can
But there is nothing left asunder
Just a life that has perished
When all such life so flourished
Now only the orange smoke haze
Drifts over darkened charred remains

Chance Encounters

Something has been lost
We didn’t have time to fully enjoy
Not that is actually ever belonged
Even as brief as a glint in your eye
A sly smile on your cheek
I felt your heart slow down
And all of that time stands still
All the flashes from the many
Raindrops like silvery dots
Soaking us in purist delight
Your blue eyes looking out
Under your gaze of deep darkness
Dazzle and fills my naked heart

Who was mine!???

I was considered a mad, a physico a lost man.. they were mine who i did so much for… i worked late nights and seven days to feed them the best…

And just on one fight they wished i could die because of hunger..
the tears i had for them it was just a drama of mine they were no one they were mine…

They did so much for me when i was broke they got me something which i paid off but i never paid of because i did hear them talking and taunting me about…

I repaid them paid off all the loan of mine who’s my own people did for me but still repaying the cost of that favour which they did to me.. because they were mine..
I was crying had lost my dad.. while they were celebrating the weeding at their home they said dont cry we are yours

Now just my heart asks, were they really yours,,
I still dont know they were mine???
Were they mine?

Lest We Forget

Splashes of red engulfed the now quiet meadow
Tranquil to a fault, reflective battle in regret, conceded
As the poppies held their heads up high, swaying
Looking over the cascading cliffs at the stormy sea
And as the soldiers wistfully remember, today was the day
That the fallen gave their lives, memories of the pain
The bloodshed, the wounds, the gunshots and the dead
When death himself carried away those souls that had fought
Valiantly in the front line, memories which fled their very grasp
Of ghosted fingertips, lost in their fight, when the survivors won
Their right to stay on this day of rememberance Sunday
We mourn the loss of those that once lived, to give
Freedom, peace, and all that happened from before

A day of reckoning, with warring forces that thought
That it would not ever be stopped or won
When the dead of that era, and the living are here now
And the world remembers them, the wars they pledged
Their lives to their country, to do the duty that required
Strength, luck, digilence and instinctive skills
To survive another day, a piece in the chessboard,
Pawns that swept across the same old black and white
Pieces used that travelled across the world with all their might
To ensure that the wars were won and that no other war
That could take its place, indeed, when all was said and done

Those poppies have a lot to say in so very little words
They stand for the voices of the forgotten, when all was left Unsaid, those that gave their lives for us today
When the world, the tears that had been shed
...

We have no need for reminders what the wars were about
But to this day, we remember them, as the sombre words say all
Within the realities of today as traditions and legacies live on
