Any chance you could pop by earlier and, um, help tidy the boudoir up? You did say you love cleaning and there are a few bodies which I've been struggling to shift single-handed
pK you know what, women have become too independent
Kidding.
It was more a scenario (not a very good one) to show why men and women are often puzzled by each other's reactions, because we think and react differently. Men know they like clarity on expectations. Women know they don't like being told to do what they would otherwise have done automatically.
Z, it was probably in the shade at that time. From that article he wasn't a bad guy, or a drunk, or anything sinister. Just had the worst memory fail in history, and has to live with it, or kill himself, and who knows which is worse.
Such a horrible combination of circumstances - his memory, not a person he met over coffee asking how his grandchild was, not a single person noticing there was a baby in the car - stuff of nightmares
I worked with a woman whose husband, once she was safely delivered of their son, went for a celebratory drink leaving their 3 dogs in the car in the sun. All 3 dogs died. She never went back home - started divorce proceedings from the maternity ward and went to her parents when it was time to leave hospital, on the spot, on the basis if he could do that he'd never be a fit father. She fought for and won full custody on the same basis.
Kal, sure it's nice to get heat off a guy, and I'm one who believes if men didn't want my cold feet on their back in our winter bed, they shouldn't have warm backs
Usha, not just you, I think we might ALL be stubborn
I must find a youtube thing I saw, a comedian talking about women liking to put their legs over their man's. He reckons it's the reason men all need walking sticks as they get older, because the blood supply to their feet was stopped so often
I do try not to read those blogs and if I realize someone is prone to them I skip everything they ever write - do not like the taste of bile
Every now and then I get the red mist moments, when someone has said something so moronic I try, oh I try, not to react but out it bursts, wtF? .
And sometimes they can defend their point of view, take your rebuttals and argue them, and it turns into a lively debate and even though no minds get changed, things are learned and it is interesting to bump points of view because there's logic and sanity.
Sometimes, though, comments are closed, or there's name-calling and personal attacks, or GET OFF MY BLOGS, which just happened with a 4th blogger recently. Fortunately, none of them are worth reading anyway.
Waiting
(At other times, no mystery at all, they didn't live up to expectations and - well - it was the kindest thing to do)
