RE: TICKS

RE: TICKS

keep dogs away from bracken, shrubby bush etc and check them by hand regularly

RE: TICKS

You can buy tick collar, in any event check your dog round his\her neck, behind ears any place he\she cannot reach

RE: Prospects for USA Recovery

I've got 30 + kg documents, supporting a differing view, used to be on the Navy Rum list and drank far to much in the past, so make mine coffee next round if you don't mind.
I'll keep trying to do my bit to raise awareness to an opposing view in the hope the some how cut the legs out under WW3

RE: Prospects for USA Recovery

rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing
its the same here mate, all we get is more the same same and ever bigger ego's

RE: Prospects for USA Recovery

Yes but do we sit in silence or continue to express opposing views? Its the same in this country as it is in yours, John Howard comes to mind. I believe what is been taught throughout the west is flawed. Even though i've heard here Bishops agreeing the fundamental bases of Christianity is Reincarnation I'm yet to meet and Christian that bothers to closely examine what that actually means...until they do, nothing will change.
They continue to sends there sons and daughters to places like Iraq and Afghanistan to take rebirth as Moslem's...they are nuts

RE: Prospects for USA Recovery

I'm suggesting it only took America four years to recover from the last depression.
That America increased employment by cranking up the arms industry.

I don't think they care about any thing other than preservation of Americas status as strongest power in the world.

If China replaces the US then the Pope and everybody would have fold there cards and chow-tow to nine duds in China.

Is there any other way, well yes develop loving-kindness, promote proper understanding of compassion throughout the world instead of hate-rid, which is the outcome of using violence

Today the three boats I was with for the past days are setting sail. Probably I will meet many of them again in Panama. A lot of paperwork is waiting for me there, too. The boat has to be measured, I need to have four line handlers [people who willl handle the lines/cables while in the canal], also four long and thick cables, good boat fenders , and there is still much more which has to be organized. But I am looking forward to it. The Panama Canal seems to be very beautiful, but completely different from here. Mountains, monkeys and crocodiles – all with a view of the white beach, blue water and islands full of palm trees here. By the way, it is nuts that all the coconuts belong to the Kuna Indians, and because of that you are not allowed to eat them... Even though they are almost drowning in them since there are so many. After some busy days spent snorkelling, swimming, knee boarding (with my self-made kneeboard) and notably having so much fun of course doing schoolwork, maintenance work on the boat and preparing for the rest of the journey, I will take some rest today. Many boats will set sail today, but many other boats will be coming in though, so there is a chance to make new contacts.

RE: HI, Jenny here - looking for some new friends

RE: HI, Jenny here - looking for some new friends

Was in house in Urangan, walked along the beach a lot, first time i visited HB was in my yacht, it has a pretty handy harbour for those that enjoy sailing. Its grown heaps since i was there, traffic lights and stuff now i think spoils what was

Welcome to the forms

RE: yemen

Not so long ago a program on our TV appeared to be discussing alleged Australian Moslems undertaking (so called) terrorist training in camps in Yemen. Think i even heard Bin Ladan could be there.

RE: Aging

we got maremma guard dogs here, lots of wild dog attacks but none since got a couple of those, another pup arrived couple weeks ago, it'll spent nine weeks in the wool shed bonding with seven lambs.
They are really good

RE: What are you more atracted to?

RE: Why Does History Repeat Its Self?

If your serious?
What is it that constitutes different generation?

RE: Why Does History Repeat Its Self?

Holding an understanding that our nature is moving energy. It much easier to understand the word Karma is moving energy.
By our own actions of body, speech and mind we are constantly creating out tomorrows. Most of us has heard the word enlightenment used, the Mahayana view runs along the lines if we cease the cause for suffering, we would escape the cyclical of suffering rebirths.

Cause and effect, without cause, nothing, that is why Buddhist study suffering to find understanding of the dependant arising of our problems.

So if you take that thought process and consider cause and effect of say; Israeli people stealing other people’s houses, killing others and so forth. I believe they are creating the seeds of suffering for themselves in future rebirth.
Likewise take a soldier in Afghanistan, engaged in killing and is killed there, could I think within hours takes rebirth inside women in place like Afghanistan where people have the karma to be killed and kill in cyclical of rebirth hard to escape…
Why symbols depicting the wheel of life are used throughout Asia and reincarnation, if examined, you might conclude is actually also the bases of Christianity, e.g. Easter.

RE: Libya - Latest Updates Part III

It seems likely to me (just my opinion) the French aircraft flew over and targets were located as soon as they were turned on

RE: Libya - Latest Updates Part III

Washington briefing now: -
110 now says maybe 112 older type tomahawk missiles have been fired

RE: Libya - Latest Updates Part III

TV right now
America has taken command, has launched Cruise Missiles targeting are defence missiles along the coast and air ports. The command will be transferred over all to a Polish commander in the future after this initial process.
Though France lead initial strikes

RE: Libya - Latest Updates Part III

TV is reporting it was Mig 23

RE: Is Japan's nuclear plant meltdown going to affect your life???????.

"I don't understand what you said clearly. what's meaning of T?"!

Firstly i just wanted point out Japan actually invaded China in 1931, it wasn't just during WW2.

I didn't T-want to I-write the B-countries name E-so wouldn't T-attract attention to your posts.
Thousands were killed in T, firstly in 1954 and again in 1962, a very sad story, not unlike what occurred in China when Japan engaged so many atrocities there.

RE: Libya - Latest Updates Part III

The mind boggles at the endless possibilities, book marking post in this thread only

RE: nuclear plant

Farmers can no longer purchase un-hybridised seeds; genetically modified crops are been introduced and grown that also require chemical fertilizers, some like Soya Beans are breed to withstand hormone based sprays that kill weeds and all the small creatures in the soil that creepiest.

I visited Japan in 1967, at that time alongside the airport were rows of soldiers, barbed wire, a mine field, armoured vehicles engaged in battling concerned Japanese Farmers demanding that the Japanese government leave there family farms alone, miles of barbed wire, guns and security used to quash the rural pleasantly who simply wanted to feed themselves and maintain there likelihoods.

RE: nuclear plant

No silly would be a better description
In years gone by both Australia and New Zealand cleared land to produce food, throughout both countries small family farms in the main produced healthy food, and secure livelihoods for a proportion of the population.
Increasingly blue collar paper shufflers, weighted favour with our elected representatives to exploit the hard working and skilful farmers to an extent our dairy, beef, sheep and crop growers no longer make much in the way of a profit.
The rural community has shrunk and the land is being planted in short turn tree plantations to provide pulp for cardboard packaging made in Japan and China. Increasingly our food is being grown in poorly regulated China and the country is been populated by immigration to fund the politicians grand plans...
