Well Thanks a million for putting up this damned thread...Now I am actually going to drive to the shop for chocolate.....Maybe a Twirl or an Aero....Or maybe even both Then again I do love Fruit and Nut...what a surprise ..or maybe Turkish Delight.... Yeah...seriously thanks for the thread..I really need the chocolate...not...
I lied about my age for so many years that in the end I used to have to stop and think about it. My reason for lying is that people always think I am older than I actually am.. I am not blessed with good genes ..when I was 17 people thought I was 25 so to avoid the ensuing arguments I just agreed with them Have to say 29 was a nightmare...absolutely nobody believed me I am however pretty sure that I am actually 44...at least that's what it says on my profile Morning all
Sorry if my post was unclear I did not light a cigarette and bully my way through, it was in the days when you could still smoke inside and when people realized I was smoking they moved...I am not an arsonist or a pyromaniac I also did not say that it was young people nor did I say that I pushed my way through. Please excuse me if my writing is unclear Again, I think the OP was referring to people using their looks and being unmannerly. He did not make any reference to age in his original post.
Not meaning to seem argumentative but what point does it prove? I hang out with people of all ages and I still find people being pushy and rude very annoying. Even if you are in a crowded place is it a big deal to say excuse me when you want to get past someone? On the other hand when you are trying to get past someone and excuse me seems like a foreign language to them that is also annoying... I used to find a lit cigarette often helped when excuse me was ignored....The beautiful people did not want their flammable hair extensions to go up in smoke and moved promptly
I dont think that there should be an age limit on good manners and have to say Scriobhneoir always appears mannerly even if he is a bit dodgy regarding the team he supports
Hiya Do you not think that bad manners has more to do with upbringing? I know people have been spoiled with the celtic tiger and all that but surely if they had been taught manners it should have stayed with them
I figured that partner meant possibly long term. Good looking guy crap personality..yeah sure date him...why not...Cute cardboard cut outs are always fun Good looking guy..good personality..keep him
Well I didn't get that impression from her posts...( Sorry One of a Kind....dont mean to call you the cats mother ) I did however find the comment...He mustn't have been that into me or he wouldn't mind paying..(sorry if I misquote but I thought it was something like that) a bit strange...like somebody should pay for your company if they enjoy it Not meant to be offensive and I do understand that it is annoying to be prompted, I normally buy round for round so would have bought the second one lol It also is sometimes an age thing some people of my age and older seem to think that things are like years ago when men paid for everything.....damn ...missed that era myself
Hard to pick just one but I would say personality. Looks can fade Size can change Drinking habits can change Style Children are part of life Jobs too can change or be lost Stuff in common...I would imagine that if you like each others personalities then you possibly have stuff in common... Why are you asking us hard questions on a Sunday ?
I think everyone should pay their way whether on a date or out with friends....It has always irritated me that some women that I have known just seem to want to bleed a fella dry and like another poster said..keep their money for shoes etc... I could never understand why they seemed to have no sense of fair play. Think it is a bit crappy to prompt somebody though. I dated a loser who knew that not only would I buy the second drink but also the first and he still felt the need to prompt me I have been very crabby all week,(must change profile pic back lol) especially in the mornings...sorry people .... I am so not a morning person...and the coffee does not even seem to be working any more
Well I am crap at buying presents anyway...people stomp over each other on Stephen's day to return anything I have given them I often pick up silly gifts for people during the year not just for a partner. If I am in a shop and see something that reminds me of someone (usually something totally stupid with major slagging value ) or if I know that someone is having a rough time and I see something that I know will make them laugh even if it is only for a few minutes I would pick it up. Doesn't have to be expensive...and I mean DOESN'T.......I am from Cavan after all
Hiya, Thanks..try not to be offensive but I do not always succeed I think it is a case of the more the merrier and bring whoever you want along sure life should be one big party...when possible
Only cos it kinda rhymes with Caaaaaaaaaaaavvvvvvvvvvvaaaaaaaannnnnnnnn Nah, I am working all weekend....but dont worry, I will be hitting Naaavvvvaaan when the immigrant returns and will expect you to have the red carpet.....or red wine out
RE: Lets all play matchmaker
