There are quite a few American women that live close to the border and date Canadian men in order to use our Universal health care. They just say that they live Common Law.
Bombs killing innocents in Iraq, Afghanistan women being murdered for speaking out. N. Korea threatening to launch an A Bomb, not to mention Iran. Mexican drug lords causing death from Mexico to Canada......the USA and Canada are buying their drugs and keeping the death trade alive......by gun or by overdose. I will bite my tongue about the economic failure of this planet because of a few greedy billionaires.

I went to see a trustee today to declare personal bankruptcy. I was told that I could not go bankrupt because I didn't have enough money to pay the Trustee fees.
Throughout all of my adult life, I have never liked the USA, as compared to the socialistic values of Canada. Until now. President Obama is a true world leader. Young, progressive, enlightened and straight-up honest.
My opinion of Americans has changed since the election of Obama. The USA is not the centre of the universe. The voices of the United States of America has chosen to be part of this global village. You now have a great leader, not only of your country, but a man who can change this world, please support him.

don't think about your future. If you are suffering the loss of your last break-up, time will take care of it ....it passes. Memories fade with time. You are wonderful no matter how much guilt you apportion to you or your Ex.

Been here a long time but have not participated for a few months. There are a lot of new faces and personalities, also quite a few people that have left the site, I trust for a good cause.
In this age of ambiguity and feeling invisible, this site allows our ego to be stroked and noticed all over the world, no matter who or what we are. Most of the people on my block don't even know my name, yet on CS there are people from Malta to Alberta who have come to know me. Friendship by proxy ? Maybe so, but it's still better than remaining invisible and alone.
There are a few women here that have known me for quite a while, and know that I'm a socialist. I have given away my material life and now live on the verge of extreme poverty.
I am happy and content. I do wonder at times, how many more mails and flowers I would get if I owned an island in the Caribbean ?

Washington now owns Wall Street, GM, Chrysler and millions of homes. Capitalism a la USA., has proven to be a failure, thanks to plain old greed. To put it in popular culture terms, Kevin Bacon, the actor, for one, just lost his life savings thanks to Bernard Madoff who is being jailed in his multi-million dollar penthouse, not to mention two suicides as a direct result of his scam.
Free enterprise equals a corporate mafia. I am so glad that I'm not a sheep being minded by a wolf.
