RE: there are people that just want to be loved by

Sadly this is quite normal and very demeaning...we/ they settle for whomever: anyone is better than no one...is the rational if anyone is willing to reflect and admit it. Here today, gone tomorrow, type of usage; no deposit, no return; non refundable; a throw-away disposal item of temporary "love"...yuk.

RE: What would be of Oslojente if she was US American Citizen..??

LOL; make sure that you keep kerchiefs around their necks though, so their necks won't turn red... %D

RE: ---Age---

There used to be a saying that "The trick is to grow up without
getting old." Perhaps It has been re worked into something like, the trick is to never really grow up by growing sidelong...a concept that perhaps the Dali-esque essence within all of us would better understand, with chuckles from our dada zones within our outer twilight...%)

RE: Are you happy with the education system in your country???????

All schooling, all Universities in Europe are free, as is all our Health Care systems, up to and including in-house maid and nanny services, home visits by doctores 24/7. All you poor overworked, overtaxed overfed, over watched by your overblown government is free library services, free police protection and free firemen/ fire protection...for the time being. Don't you all think you have worked long and hard enough for total free education and health care...any nation that can constantly pour billions into wars can surely afford tuition free universities, totally free health care etc. ahhhhhhhhhh, but I forgot, that is not "the american way"; you WILL exercise your right, your privilege to pay for everything and anything; go bankrupt to pay your medical bills after your HMO's drop you the moment you really need them...you don't care for free health or free universities for your children because its all "socialist", ie "from a bunch of pinko commies"...right....talk about a society that copies whatever works from other countries....are you all in so much fear of your politicians, the State, Big Brother, that you don't dare DEMAND free education and health care...do you really think we in Europe are making all our systems up to fool you?? That is is all :Socialist-Commie" propaganda from the Cold war....Your so called educational system, your so called health care system is falling into the low end of the third world....even your infant mortality rates are now below Guatemala! and some really backward African countries....graduates from your "Ivy League" schools are regarded with laughter, equal to a mere four year college in Europe...your majority of newspapers are still at a 4th grade reading ability of 30 years ago...my have standards declined...and you keep listening to political crooks, and criminals and keep electing them so they can steal more from you...making you pay for more and more, because the "american way" says "I can do it alone!" "Don't need no government to tell me what to do!" And yet so many claim and boast about how everyone takes care of everyone that needs it...when was the last times some have gone down to the inner city wards, to the back alleys and helped bring the destitute, the starving, the homeless, the dying to a place for help...the rates of those are , in the US, the highest in the world now and growing more everyday...this is not the sign of a society that believes in an "we" or "us" but only in a "me" society, me, myself and I ; everyone for themselves philosophy instead of a "we" will help each other, we will demand free universities , and we will get free total health care! And we will not fear out leaders, they are here for US, not, we exist to serve their interests... to fill their pockets with our money....

RE: wanting to leave a legacy

"Signs" may be relatively easy to leave, but for whom, exatly? Even if out of and for pure ego, which can ultimatly lead to depression, it does require some careful thought as the world at large will most likely not notice at all...

RE: What would be of Oslojente if she was US American Citizen..??

LOL! Only 2?????????? With hair curlers, housecoat over your nightie; florescent pink fuzzy bedroom slippers can of beer(most likely Bud) in one hand and a cigarette in the other leaning in the doorway of your trailer(with flat tires) wearing a surly, snarly expression, mouth/ jaw going 10 miles an hour chewing your gum weighting about 250 pounds; the epitome of the modern day "southern belle" (trailer next to a junkyard,(pick your State). A picture that William Faulkner would envy... %D !!

RE: Going to Heaven or staying here ?

Perhaps it should be called "the rupture"....%D

RE: Space Men

I know, by first hand of many of those types of laws, most are easily found in the US Congressional Record and thus verifiable; this one may sound typical of others such as the infamous gag laws for military and civilian pilots; (which many have ignored) or there were just too many witnesses to keep it all quiet; same goes for all maritime personnel. Look for a name or number of this law and check the laws passed by Congress during that time; sometimes a lot of work, but there is so much fraud around this topic...unlike in Europe where most countries have released their long held secrets, even films from the gun cameras of their fighter jets and other ones filmed of army units attempting to hit their craft by artillery...Nato forces in Europe, including Russia have open, official procedures for dealing with them; hostile or not...Good Luck!

RE: Space Men

People as a general rule avoid, ignore and or hate to deal with any form of reality based on fear or brutality, or because their leaders dismiss it.
Try "The FBI Files: The FBI's UFO Top Secrets Exposed" by Nicholas Redfern, released files under the Freedom Of Information Act afters years in court battles to deny people access to these. Try also the up-to-date book "Sight Unseen" by Bud Hopkins and Carol Rainey. It includes all the latest cutting edge scientific lab research and experiments trying to duplicate UFO technology, as we currently understand it by many top labs and scientist around the world. It may just shock the hell out of people, if they pay attention to what is actually going on around them. All is documented for easy double checking and confirmation. there are also tons of good hard-core books by Scientists, former Military and various Intelligence agents and even journalysts and editors of well known newspapers, who have openly violated their oaths of secrecy to publish what they have known about, done or been exposed to.

RE: Honour Killings investigated in England

There is a small grain of truth in that certain cults/ religions do foster murder; take a close look at the cult of Khali in 19th cent. India under the British; aka "stranglers". They lived to murder, simple as that, especially against the Brits and "unbelievers". The British military finally resorted to total force trying to wipe them out. Those that stood trial were, basically convicted of "a religion unfit to be practised", as others have. This cult still exists, but is no longer murdering people, of any particular nationality or religion. Why do you suppose that is? Were their original leaders wrong? They have made no such declaration. Neither have any leaders of other existing religions; yes the Pope has apologized for past events and so far he remains the only one. All religions have "over zelous" activists, as it were. Certainly the murderous revenge obsessed "Yahweh" of the Old Testament is one of the bloodiest so called Gods of history as were his followers of those times. No one has stepped forward to apologize for the crimes of genocide carried out under his teachings ...as interpreted by his priests...why not? People still believe in Yahweh, but they aren't on the rampage, at least not under a "religious" banner; some may argue that , actually they are under the guise of a political belief called Zionism...is that so far fetched....certainly not to its untold thousands of victims...
Should there be a world synod of all the religious leaders to formally draw up a sort of 10 Commandments of what makes for "a good" religion and what doesn't?? Not much chance of that is there, as the delegations would be rather large simply because, for the exception of the Pope, there is no one leader for any religion any longer. The Muslims as a whole had one until Israel branded him a criminal and put a bounty on his head: The Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, he was the closest to "the Muslim Leader that all respected and revered; the Protestants, have no single leader; too many denominations and degrees of protests; Hindus simply do not believe in one head, the closest would be the Dalai Lama to represent them and the world's Buddhists. Interesting concept, but unworkable. So who would, could, can speak for all others? It would be a literal madhouse if tried, though the idea is interesting to try and come up with what can constitute "an acceptable religion" for all peoples; but this implies a world religion...and all the ramifications of such a radical concept; maybe just an agreement between all, that no more killing be done in any religions name; forget trying to enforce this for the time being...one step at a time...watch out for the landmines...they're everywhere.....

RE: Honour Killings investigated in England

So called "Honour Killing" is NOT restricted to any one religion, country or ethnic/ cultural background; it is wide spread across southern Europe, ie. Italy,(Sicily, even Sardinia), Corsica, Spain, Basque regions; then all around the Crimea/ Black Sea areas and other areas. Moslems do not have a monopoly , nor do the Hindus in India as the medias seem to try and insinuate. Certainly, Corsica and Sicily are not Muslim, nor Hindu, but nominally Catholic, as are most Mafia clans, much to their Church's shame and frustration in trying to halt / correct this mentality. One can...could say the same for so called "family feuds" all through Appalachia...only there, over time, the killing has been extended to all members of the clans. Among certain types of peoples, "honour" is always a good excuse to kill, get rid of others...

RE: What dose Europe think of America???

You're only NOW beginning?! HA! Some years ago, there was a US tv show called Street Smarts; random interviews on streets about most anything, ie, in what country are the Pyramids? from 3 people; answers: Africa...Las Vegas...Mexico...it became so bad and ridiculous that it was canceled, much to the chagrin of many around the world.
I was asked once by a Uni. student where Germany was..."it's an island off the coast of Africa, aint it..."
From reading over some of the blithering in these post, all that is missing is the ravings of David Hickey...try to google him; don't feel that you must jump out a window afterwards...%D

RE: What dose Europe think of America???

Where oh where is poor ol Lyndon LaRouche,
while the above runs loose....

RE: It's classified!

Lovely...%D
Try this :www.curioustimes.com, hours and hours of delightfully insane news from around the world.

RE: What do you love to cook?

If I'm not mistaken, it is always two; the name is "a pair of Jane Mansfields, as they are supposed to resemble her (delicious) breasts...or so many fried food joints in the US called the dish...

RE: Going to Heaven or staying here ?

To paraphrase Monty Python, Where is the Spanish Inquisition now that we really need one!? (plucking flower, "they are heretics, they are not heretics, they are indeed heretics..."

RE: Do you believe that men

Well if you won't, I will: the term "head" pertaining to a house(hold) has two meanings: one is the bathroom(toilet) the other as "in charge" of all that affects the household...it is worth thinking about....%D
(I'll take Hi Fi's answer; it's closer to everyday realities; sharing.

RE: Going to Heaven or staying here ?

LOL! That's ok; I used to be a pedestrian than converted to an avowed motorist, the changed back to being a pedestrian. Flirted with being a cyclist; it was kinda neat actually; may re convert to it...%D

RE: Going to Heaven or staying here ?

Jesus loves you, but maybe not as much as someone else.
If anyone is planning on being swept away in the Rapture when Jesus returns, you might want to think ahead and leave a final message for all of your sinning friends and relatives when you're gone. Thanks to a bunch of atheists who operate Post Rapture Post ("The Postal Service of the Saved"), you or anyone can have your final words hand delivered to all your stupid friends who have to suffer through the Apocalypse while you go hang out in Paradise. Go pen your final words at PostRapturePost.com! Better hurry while there is still time! %D (Yes, it's real!)

RE: Have you ever been fired from a job?

Very good! Most times I have no idea if I am "plugged in" or if I'm "unplugged"! Ummmm, would that be the same as being "wired" or "unwired", oh never mind; just enjoy the trip and look at all the cool colours....wow! %D

RE: For men on this site ....

HA! Moi?? Never, to use an american saying: "There ain't no such animal" No, seeking perfection is a fool's errand, even to exit this Life prematurely in order to find Nirvana, Shangri La oder whatever; "perfection" of anyone, of/in anything is purely in der eye und mind of the beholder; not like as said earlier, comparing looking for a woman is comparable to a second hand car on a lot; we are all second hand somethings, just different makes and models if one must use that analogy, but I digress.
The closest das ich can, at this moment, come to contemplating "perfection" in a woman, is /would be, her total commitment to the /any marriage vows and not simply a bunch of words to be discarded at the drop of the proverbial hat or when it would be convenient to do so...nothing more, nothing less; looks, status etc. etc. is all secondary; usually superfluous in a real relationship.

RE: Have you ever been fired from a job?

HA! Lots of times! I hated being hired for my "creativity" and then told to be a team player, or that I must conform to company rules and image, not create "waves",etc. etc. even in the military, of "You must follow orders!" Well, sure, but up to a point, then they can go to hell and I go my way...even in very unconventional armies; be it in a "corporate life" or non civilian, I don't like taking orders from idiots , incompetents, lunatics or criminals let alone those with ego or masculinity issues. I go my own way as best as I can and why would people get upset, is beyond me...%)

RE: For men on this site ....

dear lady, there are billions of single beautiful women in this world, if there is one, however I have the proverbial "3 strikes and you're out!" syndrome; too old, too poor and too ugly, though not necessarily in that order...sometimes it varies and if not those, other, more social reasons exist, unfortunately as in I tend to make many very nervous, so withdrawing was best; besides I loathe "games" or competitions. %)

RE: For men on this site ....

I gave up a long time ago looking for any type of relationship, serious or casual; if any poor woman ever expressed an interest, I wouldn't know how to respond, if ever I did know; it's been too long anyway, so I'll just chat but not endlessly, I still have a life, of sorts, with the eternal dreadful silence of not having an actual woman to talk with, when this place is empty; that is the downside, in all honesty; something I would not wish on anyone else. C'est la guerre d'amour...

RE: i wonder how must the american gypsies be?

LOL; very much the same as in Europe, except that in the US, many carry guns; part of the cultural imperatives there... but more in certain geographical areas than others...

RE: If you are really, really bored...

The absolutely most boring times, which is frequent, is when there is a need, a desire to have someone around to talk with and there isn't anyone around at all...

RE: What's worse for you

Emotional pain(s) sometimes never heal and can leave you in a much worse condition than physical pains

RE: Friday .. wonderful weekend to all ..

Came up for some fresh air and to move the VCR into the library; air too moist in the cellar....all the dvd's are high quality and no problems; copies came from well known firm also that are into all sorts of imports/ exports here for years; I'm very pleased so far %)
I'm envious of my daughter, and my son; I had to basically fend for myself; one of the many joyous luxuries of being a parent I guess, but no one ever gave me a car as a gift! But good clients like this one that bought it for her are rare and I don't need to declare it on any taxes, that is my "upside" for being extra careful and honest with clients. It came as a total surprise to me...
Sad note however regarding "old cronies", many had absolutely nothing to do with any of the charges' some were in totally other places who knew or did nothing of what they are charged with; in fact some of the "judges", and those doing the prosecution are the ones who committed the "crimes" and assorted atrocities, that is what really frustrates me after all these years also many are now politicians who do the calling for the trials; how can people not be aware of their past involvements....this is not about revenge or vengeance, just plain old frame-ups and sacrificial scapegoats ; no honour, no ethics, no morality and certainly no justice.
Back to my videos!

RE: What would you....?

Let them dance when everyone is finally dead and then they can dance on the Day Of the Dead as in Mexico...yes, I can see the ol' bones doing the Rumba, the Tango, the Twist, the Harlem Shuffle and a waltz as the sun comes up in a Dalian landscape...weee!

RE: Friday .. wonderful weekend to all ..

Interesting...such a pregnant word, so full of expectations and meanings...I bought 167 dvds fro 1 Euro each from a well know pirate dealer who is getting out of the business...so I'll shut my self off from the world down in the old wine cellar off and on and watch movies, to "unwind" from the daily grind; have to also do a few video affidavits for old military officers currently under trials in Argentina again and Chile, as I am not about to enter their jurisdictions despite their offers; my daughter is off to London to pick out her "Mini Cooper" one of her school graduation presents and visit her cousin there before she moves off to Paris for the summer...ahhh lucky girl...%D
