There can be little doubt that smoking tobacco, which you are clearly referring to above, is bad for a person's health.
But it is not a "drug" as you claim. It is not a mind-altering substance. Frankly, a cup of coffee can do more to change a person's mood than smoking a cigarette.
Smoking a pack of 20 won't do a blind bit of damage to your ability to drive a car, for example, unlike alcohol or marijuana.
I would say that Jesus would not have cared for political labels of any description.
But today, those who most closely follow his teachings are invariably labelled "right wing" often with an additional word in front. Which shows how far to the left the "centre" of political debate has moved.
But I wish they would. If everyone tried to withdraw their funds, the bank couldn't pay them, and the entire system would collapse. Then finally we might get banking reform.
I've always quite liked Erdogan and thought him a good man. Admittedly he is to me, just another foreign leader and I have not studied Turkish politics closely.
