I'd like to give a pat on the back to the OP, Ali, who always seems to be relentlessly cheerful and positive on these forums, despite the insults he sometimes receives, and despite the negative argumentativeness that so many of us indulge in (including me, I might add).
It's always educational (and sometimes humbling) to see the positive side of human nature.
However I think it would be fair to say that if any other country had put someone on the Moon, they'd have boasted about it, so I think the answer to your question is:
The U.S.A. may or may not have put someone on the Moon and returned them safely to Earth. No other country has done so.
Mobile phones? Yes i Think we can all agree that "phone snobbery" is largely (but not exclusively) a female trait, and that women do seem too obsessed with keeping up with the Joneses. But perhaps I'm biased here, as I'm not a gadget person, and don't even own a smartphone.
Clothes? Hmmmm they probably spend the right amount. Clothes, after all, are designed to attract men.
Makeup? In my experience, women spend far too little on makeup, many of them none at all.
I'd be surprised if it is not happening at all in Bulgaria, but certainly Eastern Europe is much less infected with this odious poison than Western Europe....
Macron only became president because the French people bought into the media's fear-mongering that victory for his opponent (Jean-Marie Le Pen's daughter, Marine) would mean bubonic plague, total economic collapse, 95% unemployment, and imminent nuclear holocaust (or words to that effect). They could have put Francois Pignon up as a candidate against Le Pen and he would have won.
Trump was right, the media is indeed "the opposition party". And damned effective they are too.
I actually remember the first time I saw Barbara Bush on TV, in the late 80s. She was walking beside her husband and I actually thought she was his mother.
Hi dear, am puzzled as to why you think it is appropriate for you as a non-French person to comment on this thread, when you are so emphatic that it is inappropriate for non-Americans to comment on an American thread?
