RE: what side profile would you find on your bedroom wall when you were a teenager?

Looks like Greta Garbo has been doing those bust exercizes.

RE: Do You sleep with and Kiss your Dog(s) ?

I don't own a dog, but if I did, it would definitely sleep on my bed. The cat sometimes does.

RE: i'm gonna shoot this fokker

I was expecting a thread about aircraft.

RE: Celebrity Crushes.

He's got a body almost as hot as mine.

RE: Do you think it's okay what the senator did

I don't see how it's any worse than giving them the vaccine.

And it's certainly not as bad as the State telling parents how they should or shouldn't look after their kids.

I got chickenpox in my 40s. It was a nightmare! I was off work for two weeks and isolated in a special room at the hospital. I'd much rather have had it as a kid!

RE: P.B. Love is a battlefield +

Thanks Galrads.

RE: Do not hand in your guns

Agreed.

The communists didn't lose the Cold War; they just ditched the crackpot economics, and regrouped in London, Washington, Berlin, Wellington.....

They still worship the all-powerful "State" that is like a religion to them. The State knows best.

An armed citizenry is the last thing they want.

RE: Best guitarists of all time

Here's a vote for Gary Moore.

(Not to be confused with the former Mayor of my city, Garry Moore, whom I definitely did not vote for).

RE: World events.

Yesterday, a Palestinian man was spotted driving his car into Israel without current insurance.

To stop this appalling behaviour, the Israeli military bombed eleven apartment buildings in the city block where the man is believed to have been living. They are confident that no more than a couple of hundred of hundred innocent people were killed.

The US State Department praised the Israeli armed forces for their commendable restraint.

No, not a real news story, but not so far off the mark, eh?

RE: Do you pray before you eat?

Yes.

RE: Should people’s religious and political beliefs - be mentioned in their dating profiles?

Be careful you don't get arrested. In New Zealand, people with shaven heads are being hassled by lefties, in the wake of the terror attack, even though they are not actually skinheads.

RE: Never thought we'd see an armed attack on a NZ Mosque

Here's a few updates on the situation here in New Zealand.

We now have a 51st death from this event. Thanks to some left-wing do-gooder reporting a 16 year old kid to the police for showing a photo of himself on Facebook with a paintball gun, for which the kid has been told he will be prosecuted, the kid's father, a Russian immigrant, has committed suicide. Don't bother looking out for any apology from the police or any sadness from the Prime Minister - she's too busy wearing a hijab and stealing guns off law-abiding citizens.

A large number of New Zealanders (maybe one or two dozen) have now been prosecuted for sharing the gunman's video. So our brilliant police and government are clogging up our justice system, and wasting our taxpayer dollars, on people who had nothing to do with the attack, but just happened to share a video that was admittedly distasteful, but which was posted on the world's largest website, and which they had no reason to believe was illegal to view or to share, because the government have now classified it "objectionable" which it was NOT classified as, at the time these people shared it.

Geeeeeeeeeeeeeesh

RE: The big flow of refugees from the Middle East and Africa

Thanks for once again exhibiting your bigoted hatred of New Zealanders.

I love you too.

RE: Should people’s religious and political beliefs - be mentioned in their dating profiles?

And beards!!!!!!!

RE: Immigration for and against

And your point is? Your question is?

RE: Do you think - America - is, was, never was, or never will be democratic?

The USA is, for the most part, as democratic as any other democratic country. That is, a cabal of political parties control the country, and money buys influence. Just the same as in any other democratic country.

There are some differences though. The one that leaps to mind is that a non-elected body (the Supreme Court) can over-rule Congress, the Senate, and the President. This is clearly undemocratic.

RE: The big flow of refugees from the Middle East and Africa

European countries have to start repatriation. They won't. But they need to if they are to survive.

RE: how do you like your spaghetti prepared

I didn't know any option besides "bolognese" even existed.

I guess you live and learn.

RE: Should people’s religious and political beliefs - be mentioned in their dating profiles?

I vote that should be up to the person concerned. Some may not want to discuss politics or religion in their profile. Others may want to be clear about their views to avoid unsuitable people from contacting them.

RE: NO COLLUSION... MOVE ON!

I saw a columnist on Bloomberg refer to the allegations of Russian interference in the US presidential election as a "conspiracy theory".

Absolutely right. That's exactly what it was. Conspiracy theorists aren't always right-wingers..........

RE: Ruin A First Date, Using Four Words

I'm a Trump supporter

banana

RE: 49 Dead in New Zealand

I see another victim here in Christchurch has been added to the list.

A Russian chap, who had his house raided by the police after some left-wing do-gooder reported his 16 year old kid for posing on Facebook with a paintball gun, for God's sake. The family had NOTHING to do with this attack, and were harmless citizens. But the stress of his family's police persecution drove the man to suicide.

So that's 51 victims. But I guess the bleeding hearts won't be saying any prayers for him.

RE: 49 Dead in New Zealand

As far as I am aware, Podesta has been here once. About a month ago.

I have never heard of Hillary Clinton ever visiting New Zealand, but I do remember Bill doing so, many years ago, shortly after his presidency ended, so she may have accompanied him then.

RE: 49 Dead in New Zealand

As Gerry Brownlee has pointed out, this is an urban myth that keeps getting repeated in the media but has no basis in fact.

RE: Ruin A First Date, Using Four Words

My test was negative!

RE: Never thought we'd see an armed attack on a NZ Mosque

Who knows?

Maybe he really did want to "strike a blow against Islam" as he saw it. If so, he failed spectacularly. Talk about an "own goal" !!!!!!!!! And frankly, he seems a person of reasonable intellect, so it is difficult to believe he couldn't foresee the outcome. But perhaps he was not thinking rationally? Killing anyone, let alone 50 people, is not the act of a normal or rational person, anyway.

But it would be naive to think that Jihadists (or government agencies) are not capable of putting together an attack like this. Not everything is always as it seems to be at face value. I'm a cautious person, and I do not like to rush to assumptions. I wish the mainstream media would do likewise.

RE: Never thought we'd see an armed attack on a NZ Mosque

Not to me, it's not.

Given that he has engaged in an action seemingly deliberately designed to create sympathy and support for immigrant and refugee communities, given that he has struck a blow against gun rights and against freedom of speech, and given various other statements he has made (such as praising Communist China) it seems to me far from certain where his loyalties lie.

RE: Never thought we'd see an armed attack on a NZ Mosque

And this is how the "politically correct" commissars of what we can and can't say, get away with it........

RE: Should Senator Fraser Anning be Punished?

The below is from Wikipedia, and shows the double standard here. When a left-winger punches an egg-thrower, he's a good bloke. When a right-winger punches an egg-thrower, he should be prosecuted and removed from office.

QUOTE: During the 2001 election campaign, Prescott was campaigning in Rhyl, Denbighshire when farmer Craig Evans threw an egg at him, which struck him in the neck. Prescott, a former amateur boxer, responded immediately with a straight left to the jaw. The incident, overshadowing the launch of the Labour Party manifesto on that day, was captured by numerous television crews. Tony Blair responded succinctly, stating, "John is John". A National Opinion Polls (NOP) survey found that the incident appeared to do no public harm to Prescott, and may even have benefited his standing amongst male voters.

RE: Never thought we'd see an armed attack on a NZ Mosque

Yup, another nail in the coffin of freedom of speech.
