Let me guess, if the result of the first referendum had been to stay in the EU, as the Prime Minister who called it fully expected, would you be agitating for a second referendum saying "are you really sure you want to do this?"

I doubt it very very much.

Where there is a complex object, be it a cellphone, or a tree, or a planet, common sense tells me that someone or something created that complex object.

The belief that a cellphone can not create itself, but the entire universe and everything in it somehow can, is a double standard.

If you read the fine print in the article linked to, it says that only Liberia and Canada celebrate the same type of Thanksgiving as the Americans, which is what I would have expected.

The other countries have a similar concept, but it is not the same Christian festival that the Americans celebrate.
