Beijing are already picking Catholic bishops. I wouldn't be at all surprised if they "endorse" a competing candidate for Dalai Lama, leading perhaps to having two competing claimants.
I don't believe this to be a government-sponsored false flag attack, but, given that he has spent time in places like Pakistan, it remains (in my view) a distinct possibility that he is a Muslim convert who is trying to discredit "anti-Muslim" sentiment.
What is for sure is that governments the world over appreciate this sort of attack, as it enables them to impose laws and restrictions that would otherwise be difficult to impose. 9/11 is the ultimate example fo that.
The former Prime Minister of Portugal, Dr. Antonio Salazar, famously once said "happy countries have no history". Meaning, of course, that we only remember the bad things.
What is my country famous for? Well, in 2019, I'd have to say my small and insignificant country is probably famous only for the terrorist attack that happened here last week.
I am not remotely good with my hands. Completely hopeless when it comes to D.I.Y. But I'm also incredibly tight with money, so I try to fix things where I can. But anything more than changing a lightbulb is pretty much out of my league.
I am sure we would all agree that the video of the actual attack posted by the murderer should be taken down.
Bt you are right - this attack is already being used as an excuse to crack down on any discussion about immigration, to erode further our civil liberties, and to make it that much harder to be a conservative, in a world in which it is already difficult. Much of the crackdown will be aimed directly at New Zealand (e.g. our already strict gun laws will be tightened even further) but much of it will have an impact on the entire world.

This comment proves my point. You are indeed concerned about your Muslim countries being taken over. Perhaps, then, you should be able to understand why so many people in Europe are concerned about their countries being taken over?
For many centuries, the Christian and Islamic worlds had co-existed peacefully. I freely admit that this changed, in large part due to the actions of Western governments, most notably in backing (indeed, guaranteeing) the creation of the Republic of Israel, in Palestine. A dreadful mistake, in my view, and I am sure in your's too.
I am also aware of the way in which foreign governments (such as the USA, Britain, and China) are trying to influence events in the Middle East. Sometimes by direct invasion, such as in Afghanistan and Iraq. Again, I do not agree with this. We should be minding our own business.
Ultimately, however, we have to ask ourselves what is the most successful form of influence? It is not backing a government or even invading and installing a different government. Ultimately the most successful form of influence is immigration. And, overwhelmingly, the Muslim countries are not having to deal with large numbers of Western (or Chinese, or Indian) immigrants. But Europe is under threat from an enormous wave of immigration (some legal, some illegal) from Muslim countries. This has already changed the countries of Europe, and threatens to do so to a much greater extent in the future. And given the huge disparities in birth rates, it seems inevitable that sooner or later, Europe will become Muslim-majority. And that is a legitimate area of concern for Europeans. Just as I am sure that most Muslims would be concerned if there was a realistic possibility of Saudi Arabia, or Morocco, or Iraq becoming Christian-majority.
Ah yes, it's one big joke, isn't it? Am I overly cynical to think the media would not be finding it so funny if it was a left-winger who had been attacked?
I am someone who is concerned about the Islamic takeover of the West (just as I am sure you would be concerned if Christians were trying to take over Muslim lands). But I am not anti-Muslim. I respect anyone who believes in God and acknowledges that there is something bigger out there, than they are. And, like you, I abhor the Godlessness and decadence of the modern West.
But this post above is really well out of order. I do not know what country you are originally from, but I see you live now in Germany. I am puzzled as to why you think it is appropriate for you to demand the resignation of a politician on the other side of the world? You are entitled to have an opinion about what he said, but his place in the Australian Senate is a matter for the electors of Australia.

I also liked the comparison graphic you posted on page 4 or 5 - it makes some valid points and is thought-provoking.

Not that it really matters, but to set the record straight, this chap did NOT live in Christchurch. Originally from Australia, he had been living for some time in Dunedin. He drove up to Christchurch simply to commit the attack.
Fraser Anning is a good guy. He is speaking out for the West, and Australia needs more politicians like him.
Having said that, I did think that his press release after the Christchurch shootings was unfortunate, and he certainly could have chosen his words better.
But did he deserve to have an egg chucked at him? It could just as easily have been a bomb or a bullet. Do we respect the right of politicians to be free from violence, or do we not?
This attack on Anning occurred only a couple of days after the leader of the NZ Green Party, James Shaw, was punched in the street by a passer-by. The hypocrisy of the media in condemning the attack on Shaw, but almost gleefully celebrating the attack on Anning is an interesting study.
Lefties deserve respect, in the eyes of the media. Conservatives do not.
For all her faults, I don't think anyone could legitimately accuse Hillary Clinton of only getting where she is thanks to "tokenism". She's as tough - and as nasty - as any male politician.
Nah, mate, I can't be bothered with it! It's crap! It's over-rated! Frankly it really really sucks. I am totally against it and I am unanimous in that.
I see today that Chelsea Clinton is being blamed for the shootings, because she was rude about Ilhan Omar.......which of course emboldened anti-Muslim sentiment.
He's a nutter who wrote a rambling "manifesto" in which, among other things, he says that he is angry about Muslims, that he likes Communist China, and then he includes a grab bag of ideas. He is, by his own admission, neither a conservative nor a Christian.
He has spent time in Pakistan recently. Is he perhaps a Jihadist convert on an undercover mission? Who knows.
But what I do know is that you and I and everyone else of a conservative persuasion will be blamed, at least by association, for this nutjob's antics. And that we will be increasingly attacked, smeared, and suppressed.

Are you Italian, then?
