Oooops forgot Daniel Craig. A good actor, but again, totally wrong for Bond. Looks like a hoodlum, not a good guy.

From best to worst:

Roger Moore - the quintessential Bond.

Timothy Dalton - sadly under-rated due to the lack of commercial success of his films.

Pierce Brosnan - grew into the role.

Sean Connery - totally inappropriate to play Bond. Dark, swarthy, with the wrong accent, what were they thinking?

George Lazenby - the least said, the better.

I wish you were right, but sadly I doubt it.

The political class don't want to leave the EU, and the fact that the British people (quite rightly) do want to leave is unlikely in the long term to sway the elite.

I'd almost guarantee a second referendum is on the cards.

People are very adaptable to their situations, and I think there is probably very little difference in happiness levels between countries.

That said, I think one would find the highest levels of happiness in countries with string religious faith.

This thread has made me remember an old timer here in New Zealand who I met in a work context (he was one of our customers).

I used to speak to him on the telephone. He sounded ancient, and had a Muslim name and a strong Welsh accent. One day I met him in person, and was shocked to find he was as White as snow.

Turns out he was orphaned during WW2 as a child, and was taken in by a charitable Muslim family. They gave him a Muslim name and raised him as a Muslim. When I met him, he was over 80, and told me he was not religious, but had seen no need to abandon his Muslim name and revert to his British one.

Dating sites geared towards international relationships are littered with women (well, mostly women, but also many men) who are there for money.

One some dating sites it is as high as 90 - 95 %. This is one of the better sites in that regard, however, and fortunately the scammers seem to be in a minority here.
