It's always EASIER to be honest - at least in the long run. Why should your age be against you? Just a matter of running/bumping into the right person. Every day your online your odds get better!! Been a lot of talk about older guys going for younger girls and vice versa. Doesn't make a lot of sense to me. Different stages of our lives; been there done that, know what I mean? Just hang in there, kiddo, and keep plugging along!!

That's hilarious! So far I've met 3 women from online sites. EVERY one has taken 5 years off her actual age! Why? Far as I'm concerned it makes absolutely no difference. Bravo for being honest enough that you felt you had to come clean! (They all admitted to it in person.) And NO; everything I posted on my profile is dead on including the pictures.

They're QUITE capable of making up their own minds. Take a look at one of the current threads about proposals from the middle east. That's what you're up against! Hey Merwan! Absolutely nothing wrong with being Iraqi! Unfortunately for you, quite a few middle easterners have made some huge gaffs or outright insulted a lot of the ladies on this site. Made them a little gunshy. Maybe just a difference in how you approach women compared to how we do it here? Anyhow, you have a little tougher road to travel then a lot of us. Post on the forums and let people get to know you. Trust comes with the knowing.
And, yeah, I think you can find love here if thats what you're looking for. Met some really nice people here. Good luck to you!

Think you've been given a little bit of disinformation by the media about how things actually are in the states with reguard to guns/gun regulations. Same as you, we have the right to gun ownership; guaranteed by our constitution (at least for a while yet). But, if I were to walk around Illinois with a gun on my hip, I'd be in the slammer pretty damned quick! We can transport guns IN a case, unloaded, in the trunk of a car. Have to get to the ranges somehow. Have to have a special permit - called a carry permit- to actually be able to carry a weapon on your person all the time. THOSE are quite a bit tougher to come by.
Gun control legislation is a misnomer. Gun ban regulations are what has been tried to be passed. ALL the states have gun control legislation; in Illinois you have to register as a gun owner. Myriad laws as to how to transport, ect, ect weapons. But, the laws that they tout as gun control legislation most of the time are about making guns illegal. Chicago is a good example. They passed legislation making it illegal to own a handgun in the city. Hasn't slowed down the crime rate - period and will soon be overturned (if it hasn't already) because it IS unconstitutional as things stand right now.
Personally, I really don't care one way or the other. I own guns and enjoy taking them out to the range but could live without. But thats all that a gun ban would accomplish. People have been killing each other for thousands of years if not with a gun, than knives, swords, spears, arrows, clubs, rocks ect., ect., ect.. Not going to stop until someone, somewhere figures out how to change the nature of humanity.

Hi there! Definition is different for everyone. Think people are trying to describe "the one" that is everything they think/dream about. The one person that you can't live without once you've met; that you feel makes you whole; that you would give your life, your everything for. At least thats what it is for me. Been there once; hope to find it again.

Real name Michael and I've read that its supposed to mean "godlike". That doesn't quite fit me! lol! The names of your dates would bring to mind lots of things but mainly because their giants of mythology, history, and literature. Would I connect the name with the original? Nope, don't think I'd be one to compare. And yes, I would date someone with a name I didn't care for if the attraction was there. Although your name is unusual, there are lots of those out there. Don't see how that could possibly effect how people react to you. jmho
