As Techie, I have done my share of cleaning up after P2P sites on friends computers. I would never have this on mine.

As for your second question, one of my instructors in school said the major manufacturers in the industry do hire hackers,etc "under the table" or off the record. Their only function is to sabotage existing programing, etc.

This is so the major manufacturers can turn around and make money off of a "new Program" designed to prevet, fix or what ever.

Speaking of poor,

There was a Mother's Day story back in the early 90's in the Plain Dealer newspaper that talked about a couple in, I think, Bolivia that had just had their 40th child.

They had gotten an award from the government thanking them for their contribution to the military. The first half of their children were nearly all boys. while the last half were nearly all girls.

She wanted to stop but to get birth control, her husband had to give his consent. Since that was not coming, she said all she could do was pray that G-d would have mercy on her.

My late ex and I knew the minute our eyes met. We knew we found our soulmate and that we couldn't live without each other. We both felt like we'd gotten hit by a runaway freight train. We felt like we had been together before. We used to talk about it.

It would have worked for life if he hadn't found Drugs/Alcohol, which he used to numb the pain of everyday life. J was the only guy I met that told me I was the only one who could keep up with him in how his mind worked and I didn't use drugs or alcohol to do so.

He was a nerd and never felt comfortable with others until he had loosened up a bit. It is a real shame he took the path he did b/c the world lost a great mind when he started using.

But back to your question. It is a hard call to make. there are no right answers.

I've heard of people who knew the instant they met and had been together through old age to die within a short period of time of each other.

I've also heard of others that spent years even decades b4 admitting it to themselves then wondered why they had waited so long.

It's something that if each of us could figure out we wouldn't need to be here at CS.

Well, I had never heard of this. So I looked up my name, aside from the traditional definition, there are some modern ones that do fit, others that are not nice at all. Rather interesting overall. BTW it's Cynthia, but you all knew that.

The one guy I was interested in spent time with me in order to get closer to my roommate He doesn't know how big a mistake he made (my roommate already had a boyfriend). His loss & he'll never know how big.

Actually there are some that still question Bush's win. There is still so much question about the counts and that Gore actually won, but was too polite to shake up the country by pushing for a retraction.

All I can say is if this is true and he won, I wish he'd pushed for a retraction. We'd have been better off.

LOL we sure aren't Einsteins in the selection of most of our leaders.

Hi nice to meet you. Normally, I would still have hope for guys like him, but he really needs a shrink bad. I'm afraid even that might be too late. Such bitterness is a two edged sword; he will either cause himself to have major health problems or he will take it out on the wrong person and i hope it doesn't escalate from this to the physical. In that sense, I guess this is best cause maybe one of us will say something even if not to him but to each other that could hopefully start a little light @ the end of the tunnel for him...A LIGHT OF HOPE.

Moving on with bitterness and anger as many people serves no purpose, least of all the children.

People use children as personal atm machines, quite frankly that disgusts me.

You are right. My recent ex-fiance and I went through this with his ex-wife. She used to call me @ my house and tell me what my fiance and I would do and not do and if he didn't do as she said he would not see the children.

She assaulted me when we went to pick up the kids once - I was stunned one second there is an excited little boy jumping up and dow beside the car while his dad is introducing me and then she starts yanking me out of the car by the hair with her son between us and his sister screaming .. . AND during all that time she was living with another guy and pregnant by him too!!!!!

There was no excuse for that. they were in the middle of a divorce when he and I met. Divorced when we went to get the kids.

My ex-fiance's mother told me it would be that way with any one b/c She didn't want him but didn't want anyone else to be in his life either.

She still causes him so much drama today. That is one thing I won't miss. I never did that with my ex- husband. I loved him so much I wanted him to be happy so I let him go.

You are welcome. I almost always seem to be the last in on these. In some I have actually left b4 finishing b/c I realized I'd made some answers ~ 4-6 times and there were no others talk about embarrassing!
