Hi jlw ...It's bad enough that I live in South Australia, the State with some of the most gruesome murders ever committed ...and another being reminded of this while the sun is shining, the birds are singing...

I have a 25yr old son who would ensure his mum never did it a second time. He becomes monstrously angry if anyone in his presence suggests I marry again..not that there is anyone out there brave enough to want to do that!!

Ummm...shouldn't we be encouraging Billy to find someone close to him (and close to his age!!) so that he can actually spend time with her and the poor guy has half a chance of succeeding??

I haven't a clue. Ask Martia. She is the lady who has a man in her life. I haven't dated in ages. The nutcase I met late last year for a coffee doesn't count!

Like everyone else would say...

Billy, get out and aboot, do a mix of stuff, things you love doing, or learn something new... and don't be shy about starting up conversation with a lady who catches your eye. Nothing to lose, and rejection never killed anyone ...it just means you are one step closer to getting lucky.

I got my bicycle back tonight after it got its new wheel and new forks...poor thing got hit by a car last Friday night
My brother kindly took it home for me and when I drove back home, my front door key broke so I had to ride my bike in the freezing cold and pick up the spare key from my father. By the time I got home, the left split at the back of my skirt was butt high!!!...I'd only worn it about 3 times!!

I watched a movie starring Clare Danes. Watch it. It will change the way you view travelling to Thailand. Two innocent young women going on their dream holiday, were wrongfully jailed, both for life but one gained a royal reprieve. The drugs were planted by a young man they befriended, I think he was Australian. True story. Sends the proverbial shivers down your spine.

It is one of the most annoying thing. But short of being a magician, once gone, it's generally pretty impossible to retieve lost emails, unless you ahve some special software that someone mentioned here earlier.

Another thing to watch out for is your computer suddenly deciding to install important updates. With no warning, my new netbook virtually shuts down and reboots after installation is complete. Meanwhile anything you were working on which you had not saved seconds before, is lost. It doesn't happen on my other laptop/PC.
