Ah, you're back in Dunlin fair...We must do that for sure.
I stayed in Dun Laoghaire, where I could see the nearby harbour from my bedroom window. It was magical waking up in the morning to that vision. I have some lovely photos I can post if I ever get round to uploading them onto photobucket.
I know how you must be feeling felixis99...it's a bit like someone blind folds you, takes you to an unknown location in the dark somewhere, then strips you naked and leaves you in the cold. Lost and having no clue as to where you are.
It will pass...go and be with people who value your friendship...
I was in Dublin for 7 days in 2008. I absolutely loved it there and on the day I left, managed to get to Trinity to view the Book of Kells.
One weekend, my host took me to the countryside. It was straight out of picture books everywhere I looked. Nothing I had ever seen before, however, as if it were on another planet...One day, I will return and also venture slightly south.
So, for you it's another way of initiating potentitial contact with soeone whose pics you like.... with
I agree with you, if I ever did go and rate a pic, I would most likely give all 10's as well. There is always something interesting to be said about the picture. They each tell a story.
I agree. I think people miss out on meeting and possibly making another friend, siply because they dramatise it all in their mind. All it is, is friendly and low key. Besides, you never know when you can either give help to the other person.
On that note, I will be in the Puglia region soon...just before mid September. It would be really nice to say hi to a real Pugliese as I will be there for much longer next year.
For some reason, the ad bot remains hidden tonight. I'm using my new netbook as I'm working out of town. Maybe the adblock is turned on? No idea, but I'm glad!!
There are some really aftershave these days. And for men with skin allergies or other sensitivity, there are all natural ones from say, Red Ochre or Body Shop and other yummy brands.
I had a conversation with a friend of mine here, about photo ratings,...It got me wondering what others think and feel about the whole process with rating members' photos.
Some ideas to ponder... What is your rating style? For example, do you always/mostly give a 10 rating, or do you rate less idealistically? (hopefully, no 1's!) ....Or, like me, you never actually rate anyone's photos.
Do you bother to look at your photo ratings, and if so, what do they mean to you? Is it really a spring board to try and chat with that cute guy or gal, or somehow or other, just to get noticed? (applies also to the one who rates).
Would you regard photo rating as a must-do activity to get yourself noticed on CS? I know some people who simply love/have to rate - Personally, I'm not fussed about it either way, so at this rate.....
I'm positive that had she not had all those leeches around her as well as drug dealers peddling their wares from the get go, then she might have had half a chance.
Good grief, there are icons for facebook, twitter and something else, so anyone can post this thread in their bloomin FB page etc??? That is definitely from me. Talk about chasing advertising money. To my knowledge, it wasn't there before the changes.
