Here we go again - feel like I am Lucy all weekend....my stomach hurts from laughing so hard...go check out the various answers to various questions thread...just about sent me....and now frozen peas

We are thinking a short of some kind. It is hit or miss, out of the blue. turn the key, all lites come on, turn key to full start, nothing! SFA!!! minutes later/hours later who knows/ uptown/ downtown/ getting to appt./day or night/. Good thing is, it did it to a guy at the specialty place (audio) and it did it at the shop to the head mechanic - so atleast they believe me now. It was getting kinda scary/becoming a safety issue - there is not always someone around to come get me you know. And tow trucks - that adds up $$$. But boosting didn't help...
To top it all off, they had the alarm and command start that was on the car when I paid for it, removed (they thought that was the issue) WTF is with that - refund $?
My mom always said, T you get more flies with honey than vinegar - so this ain't finished yet - I am just going to be really calm, happy and nice - that freaks them out more than anything!!!

Is moldable a word? Yeah, you can form it to fit into/over/around where ever it is needed... hmmm. think I should go clean some more. Everything seems really funny to me today...
The good thing about it it that when thawed just throw it back in and use again.

Well here is what I did, I told them that since it would just not start out of the blue, all times of day or night, all areas of city, that they could give me their private # so I could contact them to rescue me & kids whenever it happened...They gave me a loaner and now they won't let me have my car - they are not sure if the new starter will fix the problem...scared of me - don't want to "face my wrath or lightening bolts" if it screws up on me at important time ...so I keep driving this ugly accord. A kinda special guy had an idea of what it may be, I called the mechanic dude and again, he is ? my sanity...but they will "look into it"...So I am going to Lloyd to see my son race in a "courtesy" vehicle, Thats ok - as long as I get there and back all is good.
This has been ongoing for 6 weeks. I have had the car of ummm 6 weeks. Pisses me off, cuz I researched and looked and shopped and everything - decided to buy from reputable dealer cuz my parents said so - and feel like ....I will rant about it and won't help! Not going there...it will all work out in the end.

I did it, was looking for system tools in the start up menu - thank you ... see, you are the voice of reason!!! And there are times that I am a little dumb - but that is ok, cause I ask and I learn!

Yes frozen peas work well, however, they aren't so great to eat after they have defrosted - so I generally have a supply of ziplock bags with a mixture of rubbing alcohol and water in the freezer. Makes a nice moldable (?) slush. Perfect and no food wasted. So K, will keep some on hand.

completely f***ed; I really get what everyone is saying, that is what is so confusing - I think I knew how to do this with old computer and older program 2000 pro xp - problem is - I can't find "system tools" like they used to be - this new computer has vista premium - and we're not getting along so well. And I am starting to think that I am stuck in dumb (maybe should go to drugstore and get rid of blonde?)- I am just going to walk away from it - another day, and I will try to clean out my cache and the cookies I don't need. There, all is better, thanks so much for all your help everybody. Brew, nice to hear from you, if only for a moment...you should have stayed and played for a bit.

Thank you for the answer - yes I have a firewall and other stuff too...I think I understand - will read over a few times and will have it! Just messed with me a bit when after a "scan" I was "told" that my movements or activity was being tracked...I have blocks on most things like pop ups etc. so? But I understand your explanation - thanx

What are cookies and how do they get into my computer? Yes I am serious - and I am not going to the computer shop to ask, cuz I had a bit of a disagreement with the kid who sold me the computer...specifically, Tracking Cookies - they keep being found...who is tracking me, with what, how? Is someone stalking me with these cookies - can I stop them? This is sorta freaking me out a bit.

Don't know, opening ceremonies are today, practice runs on course and time trials for starting grid! Big long race tomorrow! & I will be there - he won't see me, but he will know I am there - Long drive very very early in morning but well worth it -have all the faith that he will do great, hope the bike survives - costly little pieces of equiptment they are! Men! good thing I really try hard to not paint them all with the same brush, you know what I mean...kinda think that thought processes such as that are an embarrassment to the majority of them (I hope) Maybe we should take a poll - but the only male that comes out to play here anymore is Kid...would that be accurate?
