Okay...did you know this or look it up? Can I put this on my sinuses? What do turnips have to do with this?....K, this confuses me...and I am not trying to sound like English is my second language...
I am almost scared to ask...but am wondering how to make those mustard plasters that people used to put on their chests and faces when they had a bad cold. Problem is that I have serious allergy to ingredient that is common in cold/sinus meds so looking for something more natural to use. So...would appreciate any suggestions
Hey kitty...I really understand where you are coming from, more than you can imagine. I realize this sounds really lame, but I sincerely urge you to seek out the support of Alanon. I believe that if you would truly allow it to, the program and the support of people there could give you the answers that you are seeking. Take care
Weird K, I was just inquiring about gemery on the red river thread... I have seen her post a few times in the past week or so on international...maybe her love found her?
Broad In Total Control of Herself Yepperonies!!! Am happy happy happy! For real - I cannot even begin to explain how much better this is than the LONG DISTANCE THING. nor do I think that details are required...hmmmm damn sure that the right decisions were made
There are 2 things that I have a strong opinion about regarding Vancouver...they really better get their act together at the airport if they plan on providing anything that resembles service to hundreds of thousands of people at the Olympics and the violent crime rate is over the top/ as is the gang activity. Personally, I would have no desire to live there...jmho
"you say us...I say we" - I thinks its a good thing - hey, at work I'm allowed to use the computer that doesn't have spellcheck, cuz I'm a good speller
To hijack my own thread....Has anyone heard hide not hair from gemery????
Just kinda wondering...to all out Manitoba folks...loner, prairie and so on...are you all okay? Look back on loner's response and boy...think of the scenes that have been on the news Thinking the best of thoughts to you and yours
Well start making them...I am sure I have hurt someone's feelings, haven't meant to, but in life we all need to grow thicker skin - I have. Stupid? Oh well, we all have moments and have had - go back and read some of the past posts....I have been stuck in dumb at it's best! The point is, we all support each other, through the good, the bad and the ugly. We grow, become more confident, learn about ourselves and others. And all of those traits make it easier to meet someone and develop a relationship. Men are attracted to women who know who they are, who like themselves, who are confident to say what they want and what they like...you can make friends here and you will meet someone, maybe not here, but you will...when you believe in yourself; when you believe you can Believe me...I know - and so do others So, welcome little
Oh, how I did not want to respond to you...but, my dear, I cannot help myself... The audacity to refer to woman, or lack thereof, as a supply and demand issue - I just needed to say that women are not a commodity; and it is very insulting to be referred to as such. I am amazed at your apparent NEED to be worshiped and am not surprised that you have been unable to find a Canadian woman who is willing to bow down to a man of such quality, substance and integrity as yourself .
I think K was merely giving you an example of how people tend to limit their options when searching for their love connection. Seriously though, how long have you been searching? You have to understand that when something is meant to be, it will happen and when that certain someone is brought to you...then it will happen. It takes a positive attitude and you cannot stop living your life in the real world - that is where that special someone may be! Have patience, have fun, learn about other people and other perspectives and enjoy the socialization...you never know who may be around the corner JMO, but sometimes we have to wait longer for something true and real to come along - that which is worth waiting for.
Everything is fantastic - busy settling in and with work and kiddo and my man of course! Love living here! It is great to know I don't have to get back on a plane and leave. Kinda crappy though, my 93 year old Gran - who pretty well raised me - had a stroke while I was on the road up. She has to be placed in long term care now and I can't get there to help out with all the stuff that needs to be done
the whole "it's the freight" thing and "we don't have the population to support that level of service" is getting really effing old though... There is always room for change and improvement in my books
Received this from the profile of a 21 year old woman "love4b--rs" from "pensylvinia", Pennsylvania:

JMO, but I think in general, Canadian men are seeking Canadian woman...one of the problems we tend to experience is, as Canadians, we are very committed to family, friends, jobs, hometown area, etc....in other words; we are not risk takers, for the most part. So the challenge becomes the geographical expanse of our country! It is difficult to connect with someone with in your "location criteria". In the international forum so to speak, I think Canadian woman are still somewhat of a mystery to men from other countries - they are not too sure how to take us - alot of myths and untruths continue to surround Canadian people in general, let alone woman.
