RE: 100 things I need to do before I die

No, of what you've listed here, that's #2. tongue

RE: Have they themselves falling on hard times

Pretty bad when the scammers are asking for only $70 instead of $500...well, some good is coming out of the current economic crisis if they'll have to seek another way of making money besides scamming people. laugh

RE: 100 things I need to do before I die

OK, that was one. Where are the other 99, Captain? laugh

RE: If you could have your favourite drink

Australia, and I don't care what I'm drinking while I'm there, I just want to go there. laugh

RE: The famous song wasn't right!

It does, but I still thought the OP was cute and I know it was meant as a compliment. grin

RE: The famous song wasn't right!

Thank you, Clans. This American Woman appreciates your compliment. wine

RE: Secrets...

I keep many secrets. I've always been one who others turn to in confidence, and I only break it if I feel it's necessary to spare another pain or stop someone from doing something unethical that's harming, or has the potential to harm, others.

RE: Cheeseburgers

Trust me, Ave, after a while you truly prefer eating healthy and don't crave the junk. I've discovered it's an addiction, those junk foods. And once you get it cleared out of your system, you don't want it anymore. My best friend and I were discussing that yesterday because she's noticed the same thing.

I'm a former chocoholic who can now walk past it and not crave it.

And I've just figured out my difficulty with quitting smoking at the moment. My system knows not to try to deal with eliminating too many addictions at once, and I've eliminated addictions to sugars, starches and fats recently. Time to let my body adjust before I eliminate another one.

cool

RE: What on Earth Do You Make of This? !!

Nothing. Obviously these idiots aren't reading your profile, so there's no way to make it clearer. You've done all you can do, so just ignore the idiots. wine

RE: What on Earth Do You Make of This? !!

When I'm not looking, I respond with such. If I'm actually in a relationship, I don't bother responding at all. And from what I've read from others here, get used to it. There are many who will get disgruntled over it, most of whom probably wouldn't have interested you anyway. hug

RE: Cheeseburgers

Home so I can make it with organic ground beef and have it on my gluten-free bread on the rare occasions (like last Saturday) that I have one.

It used to be Burger King, the Whopper value meal with onion rings instead of the fries and a diet coke. Believe it or not, I don't miss those. I like it my way better now, with organic blue corn chips and distilled water, followed by an organic orange for dessert.

Just make sure when you go join him in bed next time, you stick that cold nose somewhere that will make him jump...his butt or his groin would be good, I'm thinking. laugh laugh

RE: Survival....

Thank you, J.D, I'll look into those. I've never heard of Krill, and will look it up. Salmon oil is better than other fish oils, btw...Omega-3 and Omega-6 EFAs, not just the Omega-3.

Yes, starch (and hence gluten), sugars, and dairy need to be eliminated from the diet and chelation therapy to remove mercury. It's mercury poisoning from the vaccines that is the biggest suspect. wine

RE: Survival....

That's cool too, Sxc. But it is being linked now. Autism was unheard of 20 years ago. Suddenly it's on the rise as we've also increased the number of vaccines children get. My sons had more vaccines than I did as a child. And had I known then what I do now, they wouldn't have had them. Vaccines have been tested for individual safety, but not in combination. And you now have combination vaccines being taken with other combination vaccines. Basically, I consider that to be chemical soup injected into our children, and I don't like it. I wouldn't be surprised at all to find that it has more serious effects than autism.

RE: Survival....

The research is out there. Google it.

RE: Survival....

I do understand your position with your particular job as well, Sommer. Honest, I understand that, and it would make a difference to me if that was the case for me. However, it's not.

RE: I want

Understood. And thank you...received. bouquet

RE: Survival....

Thank you, Lethal. And I have Bach's Rescue Remedy at home. The first time I'd heard of that one was years ago when I was working in a doggy daycare, and had switched my dogs to a raw diet. The doggy daycare was owned by the same woman who made that food, and she had many organic and natural treats and things for dogs available, as well as the Rescue Remedy...and that was just as I was starting to become interested in herbs and a more holistic lifestyle, about 6 years ago.

I've bookmarked that site to look further for what else they have available.

RE: Survival....

I'll look into that one. Thank you, Bentlee. hug

RE: Survival....

Not just garlic, but if they tell me that they didn't get the vaccine but have been taking oil of oregano, or olive extract, along with the garlic...boosting their immune systems via any of the many natural means of doing so actually, and their immune system is fine, yes, I would be fine with that.

Captain, you're entitled to your beliefs, and I'm entitled to mine. There is plenty of research out there to prove that if we live and eat right and take the right supplements for us, that this virus won't affect us. I live by that, and am going into a profession and living a lifestyle that affirms my beliefs. They are core-deep, and I'm not alone in them. You won't make those of us who are not fearful of this virus become fearful. We live a lifestyle that's different from yours and gives us the ability to not fear this or other viruses.

RE: I want

I see nothing wrong with a man clearly stating what he wants. It's kind of refreshing...shows a man who is willing to go after what he wants rather than sitting around waiting for it to come to him. wine

rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing You're so bad, R!

RE: Which sort of pans do you use?

Go raw instead...if you're a raw organic vegan, then your food is safer and there's no cooking involved, and you don't starve. All problems solved. wine laugh

RE: Survival....

Yes, oregano oil has many benefits...it's an antifungal, antibacterial, and antiviral herb. It's also good for the skin and digestive system, as well as the respiratory system. And it boosts the immune system. One of the best flower essences to have in one's home.

Very good suggestion, and I've been trying to find it locally, but it looks like I'll have to order it online. I need to find a reputable online source for flower essences.

RE: Gratitude.

CJ, what a beautiful post. You know I see God differently, but I still believe that God/The Universe provides for us if we have faith. You have such a beautiful and generous soul.

Like you, I have faith and when I need it most, I find that the help I need is provided. And I never take it for granted. I have remained upbeat and positive through a very long, tough time most of the time, and am grateful for every blessing in my life, no matter how small. Water, the birds, my dogs, the trees in my yard, the sun and the rain. Life is beautiful and should be treasured, and blessings should never be taken for granted.

hug bouquet

RE: I want

I have two large dogs. grin

RE: Survival....

I'll have to read up on that one. It might be in my next chapter because it's a food extract, not an herbal extract or compound. At this point in my studies I often find J.D's posts educational. I've learned a lot, but I've still got a lot to learn.

Hi, Ave! I'm glad you're still here. wave
