RE: SIENCE V'S the Bible, please read befour voting

None the less, the statement would be directed at anyone who claims to believe in the Adam and Eve creation mythology.

RE: SIENCE V'S the Bible, please read befour voting

I was speaking in general terms and answering the question as to why some people might feel the need to cling to that belief in particular.

RE: Why do people take things so personal in the threads??

Absolutely but I was responding to your question to him. confused I’m saying IFa person chooses to utilize these types of websites in order to physically meetsomeone in the flesh, then posting a photo will up the amount of views they receive tremendously. I apologize if this was understood for some reason.

RE: Why do people take things so personal in the threads??

Did they quote you or give any sort of credit?

RE: SIENCE V'S the Bible, please read befour voting

It might just be this website but the US has a very high proportion of Christians and an even smaller percentage is fundamentalists which means they will take the bible literally even in the face of reason and logic.

RE: SIENCE V'S the Bible, please read befour voting

Or you just don’t want to believe that you are an animal and part of the natural world. You resent having any sort of connection with the Great Apes. Well I’m afraid you would need to explain why we share a 98% genetic similarity with chimpanzee. Actually it is felt to be higher now due to a fused chromosome. doh

RE: Why do people take things so personal in the threads??

Well since he didn’t respond, I took his comment to mean that if you really are truly using these kinds of sites to meet people in person for dating or even friendship, then it’s much more beneficial to add a photo or several. More people will look at your profile for one thing.

RE: SIENCE V'S the Bible, please read befour voting

Im not sure I understood your question and thought you were kidding?

RE: SIENCE V'S the Bible, please read befour voting

Yes we are continuously evolving. I can’t argue with people who want to say that some divine creatrix used biological evolution as a mechanism to create life on earth. Why not? Whatever makes people happy. But will I believe in Adam and Eve and all those tales in the bible? No.

RE: SIENCE V'S the Bible, please read befour voting

That’s a little difficult to follow but as for your last question, yes, we are constantly evolving. Evolution never stops but it has the ability to slow down and speed up. Our Stone Age ancestors were more genetically similar to Neanderthals than they are to us, as our species has evolved 100 times faster in the past 5,000 years than at any other time in human evolution. There are far different "survival pressures" being placed on our physical bodies now than there were several thousand years ago.

Genetic data is now showing that with certain aspects of our cultures, such as diet and medicine, and also the ballooning human population, the gas pedal on the evolution of our species is literally being pushed.

RE: SIENCE V'S the Bible, please read befour voting

If we are reincarnated at all it may not be a human to human transference. It might be, but who’s to say. Aren’t animals living beings? What's to say that animals do not possess souls? What about plants? Aren’t they living? Humans are animals. We are part of the taxonomic family of Great Apes.

RE: SIENCE V'S the Bible, please read befour voting

We did not evolve from the great apes. That is a misconception often espoused by people who don’t fully grasp the Theory of Evolution. We shared a common ancestor with chimpanzee about 6 million years ago. They went in one direction and we went in another. There would be several species in between that would go extinct. Think of it as branches on a tree. At the tip of one branch would be a chimpanzee and on the tip of another homo sapiens (us.) We both evolved into our own unique species. If we had evolved from chimp, where would chimp be today?

The Hominidaeform a taxonomic family, including four extant genera: humans, chimpanzees, gorillas, and orangutans.

RE: SIENCE V'S the Bible, please read befour voting

Not necessarily. To what god do you refer? There are several. Perhaps we are reincarnated in an endless cycle. That would not require a materialist understanding of a godhead.

RE: SIENCE V'S the Bible, please read befour voting

That is the most disturbing statment ever...laugh

RE: The Couger

Well you are attractive no doubt. I think it’s just because I’m silly so they might assume I’m younger. It’s difficult to tell people's ages sometimes. And now with cosmetic surgeries and all of this, even more so.

RE: SIENCE V'S the Bible, please read befour voting

thumbs up

RE: SIENCE V'S the Bible, please read befour voting

Creationists had no rebuttal argument for this in court

RE: SIENCE V'S the Bible, please read befour voting

Are you referring to human anthropogenesis as the actual origin of man? Yes, I would need to go with that over the bible. Sorry.

RE: The Couger

I don’t know if this has been your experience but I find I tend to attract men younger than myself. It’s nothing I go out of my way to do. I could not care less one way or another. It just occurs for whatever reason.

RE: The Couger

What was this thread even about again? laugh

RE: The Couger

Yes you often make conflicting statments. At least on this thread.

RE: The Couger

confused

RE: What can a black african man do for a whit ladies to fall inlove with them?

There is no "magic key" that we can give you that will attract all white women in overwhelmingly generalized groupings. Shame on you first and foremost. You need to work on individuals humans first. scold

RE: War against Christian

Actually the Romans fed a mixture of prisoners. It wasnt just Christians. There is no way to know because the Roman jails during that entire period were constantly filled to the over flowing point, the least of which were Christian captives. Being fed to lions was a form of entertainment for the spectators. They did it in between the actual real sporting events such as gladiators or chariot races. It was like something for "intermission." I watched a History channel show on it.

RE: They want more pictures of me

But she DOES have more than one photo up. The implication was that even so they were contacting her with no photo and asking for her to send more when they have nothing in return or were not matching her photo for photo. Please read more carefully. Thanks. sleep

RE: Why do people take things so personal in the threads??

Or they got banned and are using a proxy. Sssshhhh. scold roll eyes laugh

RE: They want more pictures of me

You have nice photos up that clearly show your face. They are being annnoying. You dont have to start sending people more photos unless YOU want to do it. Dont let anyone guilt trip you or make you feel bad. It should always be an even swap. scold

RE: A question for Americans.

I have to agree. Alaska is beautiful and all but it seems too challenging with the cold and lack of sunlight. I think most of the southern states would turn me off also due to humidity and bugs. I visited Louisiana in August and that was just far too warm.

RE: The Couger

Yeah in several of your posts.

RE: Why do people take things so personal in the threads??

Me to. Well not as bad as that photo portrays. That was Halloween and I was using talcum powder on top of liquid foundation. That really works pretty well but you shine white under lights. scold roll eyes
