Well to be fair, people are here for all kinds of reasons. The differing forums would not exist if this site was solely for dating or romantic endeavors. I dont think you should criticize people for carrying on an intellectual debate provided it remains civil. Sometimes they dont.
Religion can be a touchy subject for people and I find there is very often a great deal of resentment projected onto the non-religious at times.
I personally feel that state funded public schools have no place instructing any classes on religious theology. This is something that the parents have the option of doing on their own and they can choose whichever religious doctrine fulfills that need.
Ray if you had even bothered to watch the video presentation it took place in front of a judge during a legal proceeding and the creationist side knew exactly what they were up against as per the legal parameters of "disclosure" yet they simply had no rebuttal. The U.S. has shown important leadership during Kenya's political crisis, and now it must go further to act but probably won’t. Kenya is an anchor for the region and for U.S. interests but I’m assuming we will waste more time on Israel.
