This is the statement in question. Clearly this could be construed as condescending. I have no problem with remarks of this nature as this topic can become heated at times. People tend to be quite polarized in their assumptions. However if you make a claim such as this, you need to be prepared to back it up as you WILL be called on it. I am clearly capable of offering support for my position. If you choose not to debate, then so be it.
No I never said you were stupid and I never implied that either. You offered a video which was interesting and I offered another which was also quite significant. You then dismissed my information and in a somewhat abrupt and condescending manner yet offered zero in the way of explanation as to why you were doing this. I prompted you to explain and that is where it stands at the moment. You have stated you choose not to debate and I have already told you it’s not a problem.
That’s all wonderful yet do you have an explanation? These Creationists certainly did not even though they were well aware that this evidence existed ahead of time. It was not as if this was "sprung" on them prior to the date of trial.

To be fair here I NEVER implied nor stated that all men walk away. There is also legal recourse that a woman has now in the event he chooses to run. Of course in the case of a teenager, this responsibility will fall on his parents more than likely because to attempt to assess some sort of responsibility onto him becomes an exercise in futility. Simply put, you can’t get blood from a stone. Another reason why women will "take the lead." It is our bodies at stake here and bottom line, the responsibility falls on the young woman in question. This is why I feel you made the right choice. Ignoring the problem only creates it. That’s my personal feeling anyway.
It matters because this nation was never founded on the principles associated with Christianity nor were the more prominent (higher profile) members of the Continental Congress Christians. One of the most common statements from the "Religious Right" is that they want this country to "return to the Christian principles on which it was founded". However, a little research into American history will show that this statement is a lie. The men responsible for building the foundation of the United States had little use for Christianity, and many were strongly opposed to it. They were men of The Enlightenment, not men of Christianity. They were Deists who did not believe the bible was true.
This is true Conrad and some of us Americans are well aware of this fact but we are up against a bunch of fanatical religious zealots who will espouse lies about this nation’s founders.

Oh that won’t happen. Pretty much we get a Democratic and a Republican nominee and it comes down between those two. Very often if you vote outside of that in this country you are viewed as “aiding the bad guy."
Agreed but then they probably feel the exact same way about us. I know that Americans probably appear undereducated, ridiculous and hyper conservative compared with the majority of Canadians.
Eventually when they run out of people and things to go to war with, all the denominations will go to war against one another. Thats what Im waiting on.
