Hi all, will get back on in a couple of hours, got to go to be with my Dobie Rescue group for an event.

This is what CS is about. If you stick to the forums, you become friends. Then at a time like this, you can post about something going on in your life and friends answer. Thank you so much.

Thank you Calliope, I let her go today. Yesterday, was too shocked.
I know she is in a better place. Maybe it was meant to happen, who knows.
My friends and I are just sickened that her family was not helping her more after he came home from the hospital. Instead, they wanted her to do things for them. She was a person who took good care of her family. But she is free of that now.

Rock, hi. I can't believe you, Chris, and I all loss friends recently.
It made our group really think about things. We decided we just have to live everyday the best way. Plus, all the things that seemed to matter so much, don't really matter.

I said, we have to have a slummer party in January, a girls night. Just watch chick flicks, eat popcorn and junk. Either wearing PJs with feet (I have a Hello Kitty pair) or pj's. Of course, Colette will be there in spirit.

Hi Witchy. Thank you. I never realized how much a girl friend can mean until I found my old friend. But she was in Ohio. So when I found this small group of women, it filled a void. But she have to go. But we will never forget her.

Thank you Casey. You all have been very sweet to say these things to me. I know it's hard to know what to say.

Knight, you are a knight. Thank you. You don't want to let a person go, but I know she is not in pain anymore.

Thanks for the flowers.

Thanks Felix. It's easy to be a good friend, when you met someone so nice. I would call your friend. I will be calling another friend this weekend also. I hate it that she lives in another state. We met each other in high school, lost touch, but both of us were tracking each other down. I got a hold of her and have not let go. She helped me so much during my divorce, even came to see me and I went to see her.

You too, Chris? You are so right. One minute there, and then you hear the news. I tell you, I was close to shock last night.
But as Time said, we were lucky to know them. You may not have alot of money, but if you have good friends, you are rich.

Lost a good girlfriend last night - can't believe I will never see her again

Thanks Time. You are so right, right place, right time. She was remarkable, like a shining star. Just like my other friend. The type that have unconditional love for people.

Today my friends and I had lunch to be together. We left one chair empty for Colette.

I found out something unbelievable that her husband had done. She had gotten home from the hospital weak as a kitten and her husband woke her up at 4 in the morning, wanting her to fix him breakfast. She told him no. She did everything for him and then that?

At Thanksgiving, her husband and daughter went to see his family and left her alone. She got up and fell. We think she might have just been
just too tired to carry on. She went into a coma. I could not live with myself if that had happened. But then again, I would have not left her alone.

She had diabetics and because she got pregnant, 3 years later lost her kidney, and had to have a transplant. So for 23 years she had bad health but she never let on to it.

I am just glad she is never going to suffer again. It is a blessing.

The Secret to Attracting a Man

To the men and women alike in CS, here is a new Victoria Secret report. I went there today and they have a new style of undies, a shortie.
They are similar to boy shorts only with a more feminine cut. They have it all covered and uncovered, ha.

Lost a good girlfriend last night - can't believe I will never see her again

We were in a close group of girlfriends. Mysteriously brought together. We laughed, talked about problems, etc. We were tight.
Now we have lost Coleete. People are not replaceable. She was such a good person. Her health had gotten bad, a kidney transplant was starting to not work. I am lucky I can see her face.
I lost another good girlfriend several years ago. She always had a smile on her face and supported her friends. We became very close. But she died of cancer.
It's hard to understand why the really good people die soon. Seems like the bad ones, keep on going.

Meeting with friends of our group, not the Stepford Wifes to be together today. Funeral coming up.

Any of you that believe in prayer or other, please think of my friend Colette. She was kind to everyone and had the best sense of humor.

The Secret to Attracting a Man

Craig, that came out wrong. I agree, if a man seemed fickle, I would move on. I like to know a few days ahead of the weekend that he wants to go out. But if he calls me at the last minute, it will be no. Why? Because I make plans with other friends also on weekends.

But I think some guys like a woman who play hard to get. Because it is a challenge. Actually I think it is karma getting back at them for the same behavior. I doubt the guy will succeed because he has finally found his match.

Craig, about the right ear, actually it is scientific that right side is better to talk to a guy.

Known as the "right ear advantage", scientists believe it is because information received through the right ear is processed by the left hand side of the brain which is more logical and better at deciphering verbal information than the right side of the brain.

As for smell, a little goes along way. But someone who sprays it on too thick is not good. I have been to the store and could smell a guys cologone 4 feet away. As for me, the perfume I think stinks and have smelled it on older ladies is the so called scent of a rose. I have never smelled any perfume that could capture it right.

Wow, superficial attraction posts, rolling on the floor laughing

You can think what you want, but, I do know how. Plus I'm sure that is true for all the other ladies here.

What we are talking about is just a few of the things. I also think the other ladies do also.

I know what doesn't attract me to a man is seeing a picture of them in the bathroom taking a picture of themselves with their cell phone. Also without a shirt on.

Hi mb: Ha, you are too old to be chasing. I've dated at the youngest 48 year olds to 55. I swear some of the 53, 54 guys acted like they were back in high school.

I see someone in that picture, doesn't look like you have to chase, ha.

I do not chase guys, they can go after me. Even with friends, I would not go up to a guy in a bar I didn't know and small talk. Believe me, too many guys would think I was sending a signal to them. I stay with my group and the guy can come to me.

You lucky dog, MB!

The Secret to Attracting a Man

It depends what kind of man you want to catch. If you think something of him, you want to give him some distance so that he doesn't feel strangled. With some men, they do not care who they are with, just so they have them. A notch on their belt and see ya.

If I sense that, he can move on, not my type of guy. The one who will never settle down and forget trusting him.

The Dobe

The Secret to Attracting a Man

You are funny. I think when you are in a relationship, the woman should let her guy know how much he means to her, and vice versa. It's great to have a strong man around you.

Act hard to get. I do not think men want a women who gets lovestuck at the first time of meeting. Men like the chase, IMHO. Plus, be sure to have him to the left of you so you can talk to him in his right ear. Studies have proven that they like that. Also, put on some nice perfume that smells very good. I wear Candy by Victoria Secret.

RE: Good Confidence,-A Personal Disorder?

This goes beyond having confidence - this is to the extreme.
My Mother is has this personality disorder. My Grandmother saw the attitude my Mother had as a child. She tried to steer her away from it. Later, my Grandmother did not like how my Mom treated me.

We were 17 years apart and she has fear of getting old and losing her looks. My Mom was jealous of me because I was young. If I got a $25 shirt, she would question me. But her husband got her jewelry from Tiffany. Her husband made sure they were the first to go one the new Cruise boat, Queen Mary.

My Aunt called her Queen Mary. Growing up, when ever we had a problem, my step-dad backed her up. I left home at 17.

A few years it came out that she was seeing a shrink but it was a secret? She was on meds.

The last time I saw her was 2 years ago. I had taken a walk down the lane to visit my RIP Granddad's little house. I had no idea she would get worried. She had said she was going to take a nap. It was growing dark. A neighbor living in my Granddad's farm house, came out with his flashlight. He invited me to visit my Granddad's house, and see his family. He had discovered a covered up fireplace.
I was ready to leave, Joe and I were outside talking. Here comes my Mother in her car reminding me of the mad lady in 1001 Dalmatians.
Queen Mary rolls down the car window. She yelled at Joe saying, I have been looking for her, how could you do this. She said we were ready to call the police because we were so worried. They were afraid a never do well had taken me, guez.

He said, sorry, Mary, it was my fault. Then she pushed open the passenger car door and told me to get inside. I was 52 at the time, and said No, I'm not getting in that car, you are going to blow up. Then she comes out and tries to pull me in. Again, I said no and shook off her hand. I'm sure if Joe had not been there, she would have tried to pull me into the car, but it would have been a devil of a cat fight. Mother or not Mother.

Joe, the poor guy, said after she left, your parents are very private, maybe, she likes me more since she did that in front of me. The sweet man, I said, no Joe, you witnessed what she can be like.

I said,Joe, earlier you offered me a glass of wine, I need one now.

Then there was war when I got home. The folks were enraged. It was insane. I was told I would leave a ucking day early, I said fine.
I wish I had left then.

The next day my Mom out of no where says to me, laughing,
you make me depressed. After a lot of dealing with her, I had found my voice. I said right back, Mother, you depress me, and laughed.
My step dad had enough and said both of you stop it.

That was the last time I saw her. We had a disagreement on the phone later and I said enough was enough. I divorced them the same time I divorced my ex. A doctor had said, read the book "Toxic people" and had suggested I not see her anymore. I couldn't at the time.

I know this is long, but this is a perfect example of this illness.
My Mom thinks she is wonderful and thinks other people are strange.

I have a good relationship with a guy younger cousin. His kids are my nephews. We do the holidays together, he has problems with my Aunt.
My Aunt took my Mom's side even though my Mom got the will of my Grandfather's changed and took some of my Aunts land inheritance.

I am impressed with my Alien lover. Forget the rest. Oh, I have to go, the spacecraft is getting ready to land. He comes from Mars. That is where men are sent to have a redu. They come back as great lovers, do not cheat, very fun to be with, more intelligent than before (they have be taught how to treat a women with respect).

RE: BesT LoVeR MeN...

I have not seen you before. I only checked your profile to see if you were a man or woman. I think it is up to the women to decide this, not a man from Turkey. It could be taken the wrong way- like you are gay. I do not think you mean this.

I see you did not include American men. How do you know they are not good lovers? Plus, their are other Nationality's not up there, New Zealand, Australia, Serbia, Malta, etc. Most French people do not like Americans. Not all, but I have heard how Americans are treated there.

We will see, what the others in CS think.

RE: What would/could u offer to the person above u?

Hi Dag.. I'll share my ex with you. He's in TN now also. He's become tamer, I'm sure you two would get along, ha. No, it's been long enough, the past is the past, we talk now. Plus, he delivered to me a cat of his that needed a new home. He is suppose to be in some ways like the cat I lost 2 months ago.
