RE: I dedicate this song to

Here's a surprise, after my video Sail is over, 3 boxes appear.
Click on box 1, and replay "Sail", click on box 2 for a crazy song
called "Burn it Down". There is a 3rd box also, not sure that is for.

I was laughing so hard at everyone having problems posting video's and finally I get it.

Only I copied the wrong URL, so I still goffed up.

RE: if you....

I thought you English had created another funny word for a guys thingy.
The English have so many different names for the same thing here.

I'm glad ginger means the same thing here. I was worried for a minute that it wasn't and you thought fraud might have been committed. Also, what about letting lawyers/police know?

At this point, if what I thought was true, you would not even care about ginger hair down there.

RE: English To Blame for the Worlds Problems

Why would it not make a difference? Doesn't it help to know the nationality of the person who made the statement? I think it does.

Maybe the poster who was so unhappy about England could try to do his part to help out with his country. One person's contribution to their society can make things better with this economy. Maybe volunteer at a charity shop, etc.
Make a difference, not just complain.

In the US, people are suffering everywhere, losing their jobs, homes. We are also having tornados, killing 231 people or so. Plus, flooding.

Also, Optomistic:

"For all the talk of special relationship I believe that a lot of Americans do not like the English. The relationship by the way is mainly between Wall Streetheart wings and heart wings The City of London. The ordinary American and English person are not considered in the heart wings special relationship."

Can you explain what made your mind up about that statement? That normal Americans and English do not like each other?

Haven't you noticed how the English and Americans do get along here in the forums for example. I'd say the majority of my friends here are English, Spain, or the Kiwi's.

I have some English blood in me. Also Cherokee.

But, all we can do is try to do better than in the past and try to unite instead of fight.

Hello Aussie, just join in the band wagon.

Does anyone else have a problem with another country?
Speak up now or leave it.

I find it very interesting that the basis of this thread is about the US. How the original author of this theory thinks that England and the US don't get along. Then we find out much later on in the thread that author was English.

Then we get into the problems that Ireland had.
Which for the record, I thought was just a famine. I had no idea that England was getting food that Ireland needed. That was not in my history book. It makes me ill to find that out.

SO I have learned something at least.

But I do not understand why the OP did not source the poster as being English if he knew.

To me, that is starting a thread up just to push buttons.

ALso, I love the troll icon.

Did I tell you that I have a mini troll. He is sitting right next to my computer, but he has green hair. Would anyone else like to know anything about my troll?
Oh, my, did I redclown highjack the thread.
Funny, I like real trolls (when I was a kid, I had several) but I do not like Clowns. They are kind of creepy.

I'm back, it's official.crazy

I think you do not know what you are talking about. I think the opposite of the relationship between the ordinary American and the English. I am from the US.

RE: British and American cultural differences

Of course, I've been around, now have to defend my country and also be embrassed in how some of us reacted.

I did not see the people dancing over the death of Husein. I think I may have heard a recording of it. It sounded barbaric. Like something you would see in an uncivilized country.

IMHO, I do not think that most of the people who died from 9/11 would have liked how this ended. They are the ones I still mourn for. But I mourn more for the people who were their family. That was so awful for them.

I am glad he was found, but would never be singing in the street about it.

Frankly, I worry about what his followers are going to do now to revenge him.

I would have rather had him captured, put on trial, and sent to prison.

By all, thanks for the notes. CS is a place of mainly good.
You can easily have a good time in the forums or just get out when a thread you are in is getting too much.

But, this is a busy time of year for me, being a Master Gardener - so many garden events to do.

Also, helping with all the details for a Royal Doberman Picnic.
We shall have bbq, deserts, 2 contests for the Dobes coming. Darn, it's not on the same day of the real Royal wedding, 1 day short, ha.

I'll post a pic of Wile up for all, Wile the Coyote, Blue Doberman as my profile.

Some of you maybe right, I may come back later in the year. Just know I have to go now. Take care all, bouquet

It's been fun. But I have been thinking of going off the forums only. It is a done deal now.
I was quite hooked on the threads, then things seemed to change. They were not as silly. Though I have learned alot of things by reading them. I know alot more slang words than I did.

I have been to CS jail, while I was there Steve from Spain was there. I believe he got in after me but managed to get out before me. But that was Steve. I do miss that guy. He was the only one that could cuss me out and make me laugh.

RE: How to avoid a dating dissapointment.

I didn't say I was confirming a date with the guy there
beside me while I was on the phone.
Boy, he almost blew a cork, and slammed my phone shut.
Guez, I had to go outside and finish the call.

The other guy said when what happened, did we get disconnected?

I held my laughter in and said, yes, the signal isn't good out here.

I had never done that before, but the guy I was seeing wasn't
being very kind to me. I decided to show him some manners, ha.

RE: Can Distance Kill Love

I say distance can kill love and also kill it from happening.

Local for me now. Besides being thousand of miles apart, you don't know them until you met them. So until then you find about each other little by little. Like finding out they still have a thing for another and who wants to compete with that.

I got to know a English/German man, when he came to visit me.
Disaster.

Then another guy was coming to Virginia and we were going to meet but he was sent to Florida. He can stay there.

I just want something simple. Maybe meeting someone local in the area from CS, Facebook, or my Doberman Rescue Group.

At least if it's local, you can see them when you can. If they don't like you, life goes on.

RE: Would u have a one night Stand with ur Ex?

Ok, hun, glad you got your account back. You can block him but I think there is a charge for that. A guy I dated said that his ex was doing the same thing to his facebook account. But I was at the point of not believing things that he had said. He said she was doing this and that. I think in some cases there are 2 sides to a story. Not that it's good to hack someone's account, but who knows what he had been doing to her.

I don't mean that about you. It seems in your case, he abused you.

He isn't stalking you is he?
