Recently one of our very own CS Women was called a marxist feminist.
What a hoot! It was in the Amanda Knox thread.

A clever CS women turned it around and said she preferred Maximum Feminine. I think that is divine. LifeisADream thought we should start a club so I'm starting it.

So there you are. We are ignoring all of the recent bashing against us and going about our business!

We are a force to be reckoned with!

Age matters to me. The younger guys seem to just want to go for a ride.
I stick to guys that are near my age.
But I've had dates with a few guys my age and they acted worse than the younger guys.

How do you really know someone has committed a crime?
Recently in the USA, a person was in prison for many years. Then there was evidence found and he was set free.

D&A is used to prove a crime, but how many crimes have been let off without enough evidence. Everything points to them being guilty.

I am not referring to this trial. Everyone deserves a fair trial
but are all trials fair?

You can look at this trial as she did it or she didn't do it.
You would think that one trial in the USA was enough.
I am not sure of the outcome.

Also, to me it doesn't matter if you are a man or women in this position. Either way, you are screwed for life.

Tom, I've been away but remember when you first came to CS. You could be nasty. But since I have come back, it seemed like you have mellowed. Until I read this thread.

You are blasting CS women here in this thread. Everyone is entitled to an opinion of their own - including Women here. Also not to be ridiculed.

You called one of the women here a Marxist. Then said one was known for being unbalanced and to take a pill.

I do not think you like women here who have an opinion. If you do not agree, we are not sound in mind.

Yep, a big chip aright. It seems like 2 Australians have a problem with the US. I've never had a problem with CS Australians before - quite the opposite.
There are always some people that like to have a pout about nothing.
I am glad I do not have their attitude, they don't see what they do have.

Hi Felix - by the way, I get along good with Ohio people. I was born in Southern Virginia but my family moved to Cincinnati. Ohio.
I did not want to leave. But I found one of my best friend's in school. We kept in touch all these years and visit each other.

As for being called ignorant, I guess this guy thinks it fine to say something like that. But in the real world, it's not. He doesn't respect people. I'm sure he likes to slam women. But CS women will not take it. The longer I have been on CS, I have created a wall so I don't get upset. Whatever I say will not change his view. I wouldn't give him a bone. That goes to my Doberman, ha. So he has lost.

I agree. Don't move here to have a better life but then complain about living here. Stay where you are. People like the OP get off on stiring people up instead of learning to life with others. How about you volunteering and making a difference. People who complain are usually unhappy and enjoy upsetting people.

After thinking about this whole thread, I wonder who is the one is full of themselves? Let's look at the Australians. I have nothing negative to say about them. I have written to some here and all is well. I have a couple of Facebook friends who are Australian. I have found them decent and fun loving. Also on a couple of occasions to rip someone apart for me that was sounding off. There is nothing wrong with that. We have formed a friendship. I think you are an exception. If you don't have something decent to say, why say it?

I disagree with you on 2 counts.

First Australia: When The Queen visits Australia, she speaks and acts as Queen of Australia, and not as Queen of the United Kingdom.

The Queen is represented in Australia at the federal level by a Governor-General. He or she is appointed by The Queen on the advice of the Prime Minister of Australia and is completely independent of the British Government.

Even while based in the United Kingdom, The Queen is sensitive to her role as Queen of Australia, acknowledging issues which affect Australia through messages or congratulating Australian achievement.

I love the lyrics to songs. I like word study, trying to find out what a song means. I also like to figure out what a song is by 3 notes and also come up with the name. I also have been doing this for decades.
There is one song I always get messed up with another. It starts the same way as an older song. I always get ticked when I mess up thinking it is the older song. It's a Kid Rock song.

I think this thread was started because of the OP's past. It is not mentioned in the post that was made to start the thread. The fact that Military Yanks came to Australia and mingled with the ladies there.
Op, maybe people would not have snapped at you if you had told the real reason with your first post.

I'm glad she would not come here. It sounds like she is the Ugly Australian. I'm glad to hear so many have liked our country who live elsewhere.

I am from Southern Virginia, where good manners are a tradition. As for New York, their bark is worse than their bite. They have hearts of gold. I still mourn for what happened there.
If I needed help while I was there, I would not hesitate to ask for it.

I know alot of Australians who do not view us as you. I am in a Doberman Facebook group run by a Australian man. We both have a special passion for the Doberman. He likes it when I give him a hard time. He is a good guy.

It's kind of funny, I am being written to by a Aussie guy right now. I know he doesn't see me as full of myself.
