One pet is my limit. Was going to be a bird but when I saw "Felix" there was an instant connection. I am working only two days a week, and he is great company. Thanks for the offer to deliver.
This cat came from an adoption group and all their pets are already spayed and neutered. He had a dose of Advantage and I had to go through an interview process via phone.
Yesterday for my birthday present to myself, I adopted a one year old tabby cat, from a rescue group. As soon as I saw him, I knew he was for me and I was for him.
He is so affectionate, gentle. My alergy to cats is secondary to keeping him. Tabbys don't affect me as much as other cats, but still I woke up with swollen bloodshot eyes.
1. A mouse trap, placed on top of your alarm clock, will prevent you from rolling over and going back to sleep after you hit the snooze button.
2. If you have a bad cough, take a large dose of laxatives, then you will be afraid to cough.
3. Clumsy? Avoid cutting yourself while slicing vegetables by getting someone else to hold them while you chop away.
4. Avoid arguments with the Mrs. about lifting the toilet seat by simply using the sink.
5. For high blood pressure sufferers: simply cut yourself and bleed for a few minutes, thus reducing the pressure in your veins. Remember to use a timer.
6. Have a bad toothache? Smash your thumb with a hammer and you will forget about the toothache.
Sometimes, we just need to remember what the rules of life really are:
You only need two tools: WD-40 and Duct Tape. If it doesn't move and should, use the WD-40. If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.
Remember:
Everyone seems normal until you get to know them.
Never pass up an opportunity to go to the bathroom.
If you woke up breathing, congratulations! You get another chance to dance.
And finally, be really nice to your family and friends; you never know when you might need them to empty your bedpan.
Occasionally I will get an email from a well-meaning person that tells me something like this at the end of a prayerful message:
Pass this message to 8 people {EXCEPT YOU AND ME}.
You will receive a miracle tomorrow!
I HOPE that you don't ignore and let God Bless You
My son and I were having a humorous discussion about how bad things will happen to us if we don't forward the email to all the people it says to. I never forward these to anyone.
The other site I'm on I get way more local invitations to meet up. So I'm not giving up any site. I've had so many dates I can't remember how many using the other site. Nothing permanent yet though.
CS is more just friendly emails with great people but who live far away.
GRRRRR I sympathize with you completely but I don't know anything either. SO frustrating.
I did have a problem a few years ago with connecting (on dial up then) and nothing worked except one of the messenger programs.
Finally I re-formatted the whole C drive, by putting in the original system CD's that came with the computer. It wiped everything off, and I had to reinstall all my programs but the internet connection worked great.
I LOVE Tijuana. I lived in Chula Vista Ca, almost forever, it's less than five miles to the border. I worked there for a maquiladora for three years, drove across the border every day. It was one of the most fantastic experiences I've had ever.
Also went there some nights to hang out, but preferred the daytimes there. Baja California is one of the things I miss most since moving to NE Ohio.
Great for you, love hearing good stories about teenagers. It sounds like you have twins? Glad to hear this.
Abra, my van never goes in the garage, if it is snowing, I must park near the edge of the driveway so that I can get out without shoveling for hours. If it's nice, I see no reason to lock up my vehicle. The garage holds the table saw and my older son's big mechanic's toolbox and various tools.
We worked all afternoon re-organizing the shed so the garage should be done by this weekend. Yes, we are excited to have a game room.
Wood burning stoves are great. My friends have one in their garage with a blower, keeps to so warm and it's so free if you have wood to burn.
I've cut my work days down to just short shifts on Sat & Sun, because I can't be gone so much from my mother who needs to be checked on very frequently.
Also will have time to get back to more painting and putting in more flooring here.
Butterwings, it's the best thing you can do, spend lots of time with your baby. I remember those days and looking back, were some of the very best days of my life, when my kids were young. It's great now too, they are young adults.
It won't sink for being too wordy because you have lots of paragraphs and makes it easy to read. Thanks !!!
Try to keep things in perspective and not put all your efforts into just one thing.
You feel you should take a break here and try to find yourself first? I believe you should be doing that anyways, finding yourself, spending time with or meeting new people, making friends you can have coffee with, etc....
This is a singles site and bulletin board, where you can spend time with people, make friends and maybe meet someday in the future.
I haven't "found" a special guy on here either and doubt that will happen in this site, because of the distances in locations.
It's ok to come here and spend some time, get feedback on ideas, read, or just laugh at some of the jokes.
My time spent here is brief but daily, trying to keep things of importance in perspective.
RE: Do you have you any siblings......?
none
