I'm sorry for this families loss.


I'd be reluctant to pile on with accusations against the parents, without knowing the facts. That's a thing we do to make ourselves feel safer and not so out of control in life.



We just had a small child drown in a local lake about a week ago.

I've been around kids and water my whole life. There's probably 30 lakes with in ten minutes of my home, and the majority of my childhood friends lived on them.

People are up in arms about how this could happen. Those people are victimizing parents who just lost their child.

I know the lake it happened in. I understand how it happened, and it could happen to almost every family at that beach on any given day.


Water comes with a risk of drowning.

We do things to manage that risk, but we cannot eliminate it.

It's going to operate by it's rules without regard to your wishes.


If you want something out of reach it's on you to improve your reach,

or set a more realistic goal.


The world is not going to bend down and hand you a 26 year old.

That is neither a fault with the world, or 26 year olds.


By in large when you extend the age gap beyond 10 years,

almost everyone willing to get involved will be about money

or housing, or food or some resource they need/want that you have.


You don't have money.

Most of the young people willing to date old people have no use for you.



You're diving into a poor of sharks, and then complaining

there's sharks in the shark pool...and you keep doing it,

and getting mad at the sharks for doing shark things.

Your criteria selects for almost exclusively scammers and gold diggers.


Being unwilling to date women within 14 years of your age means almost every woman who claims to meet your criteria...is looking for money.


You can try and spin it however you want, but you're just another guy unwilling to date within his league blaming others for his lack of responses.

Get realistic, or stay single.
