RE: need help finding a date

I think the college class, and book club may be some of the most accurate and actionable advice ever given here, in regards to making contacts that can be turned into dates.

RE: A successful relationship

We do as a culture see relationships, and people as very disposable.

We do that with stuff too.

RE: heading to the Usa

That mostly depends on where you're headed.

This place is very regional.

RE: A successful relationship

A successful relationship requires a beginning

and no permanent damage.

RE: Outrageous double standard in US owned fast food companies

Nope.

I got an Arby's coupon.

RE: Who do you think was the most inspirational parson of the 20 th centruaty.

To me personally, Martin Luther King.

Internationally, probably Nelson Mandela.

RE: Do you like tatoos?

I'm mostly indifferent to them.

I have one, all things being equal I'd rather I didn't.

If someone's going to judge me over it, I'm not likely to lose a lot of sleep over them, unless they'd gotten pretty far under my skin.

RE: what fruit is famous for growing in your country?

I like kiwis a lot, that's a very good fruit to be known for. I want to try kiwi berries, I just learned of them a couple weeks ago, and want to give them a try.

I'm not sure anything's famous for growing here, but if any fruit is linked to our identity as a country I'd guess it would be apples. I found it interesting to learn a couple days ago, that cider most places means fermented apple juice. Here it refers to a certain style of apple juice, and fermented cider is referred to as hard cider.

RE: Favorite thing about fall?

Yea...that.

RE: need help finding a date

I don't know you at all, so I'm just going to mention a couple things some men figure out sooner than others.

Mind your...showers, fingernails and shoes.

If you're managing those...ask yourself if you're really trying.

Are you asking women out?

Making conversation with strangers?

Really putting yourself out there?

If you're doing that...are you being realistic about who you approach?

Generally if there's really a problem, we're getting in our own way some how. This stuff isn't all that complicated, if it was we'd have already gone extinct.

RE: No soul, no love? I am in trouble

Consider why you're most interested in the women

who are least likley to be interested in you.

RE: Do you think we all have a fascination with the dark side of life.

No, lot's of people avoid such things.

RE: Single forever!!

Me too Berry.

I'm probably reminding myself to just let it be a break,

as much as telling anyone else anything.

wave

RE: Single forever!!

It's possible to be single forever, sure.

It's not something that happens to people generally, it's something they do to themselves. Most folks, who give up on others wouldn't spend a week in a relationship with themselves, and therefore aren't interested in other's like them.

That's not to say there's anything wrong with taking a break.

If this isn't fun anymore, it really is ok to stop

and find the fun in it again.

RE: Inflatable Doll

Blow up dolls are outdated.

RE: Should schools teach Creationism along with Evolution ?

Evolution is a scientific theory.

Creationism, like heaven and hell is a religious construct

and as such has no place in the public school system.

RE: What's Cookin', Good Lookin'?

Simple guacamole(my current got to late night snack)

Mash 1 ripe advocado.

Add 2 spoonfulls of tomatillo salsa.

Stir.

Eat with corn chips.

If you're feeling fancy and ambitious...

The juice from half a lime, and a bit of salt don't go amiss.

PS: You probably already know this Unla but advocados are full of the good fats.

RE: Should schools teach Creationism along with Evolution ?

No.

RE: If You Were In Love With Your Best Friend Would You Tell Her/Him And Risk Your Friendship ?

Not telling her, isn't really being her friend.

RE: Not New, Just Back

I'm sorry to hear things have gone poorly.

RE: This is my Peace page

Ohmmmmmmm....

RE: BEST SNACK

Guacamole is my current go to snack.

RE: visible age differences

The first two rules of dating someone 20 years younger.

Keep them out of your will, and don't get life insuarance.

Some are less patient than others.

Play safe.

RE: Can happiness ever be found?

Then do something different.

RE: New relationships can't be clear-cut, everyone has baggage.

If you like him enough to stay, then stay.

If you don't like him enough to look past with what's going on then leave, because you don't have the foundation to work through it anyway.

Despite popular belief, most of us don't appreciate being viewed

as fixer uppers.

RE: is it lonely out in space?

Elton thinks so.

RE: Rejection ?

...is the evidence of the poor judgment, of others.

RE: when to stop hoping?

Until doing so is no longer an act of loving and caring for yourself.

RE: You are head over ears in love. But it is not mutual.

Wait awhile, and see if she catches up. It can be hard for people to see each other as they are, and we rarely get there at the same time. Eventually if she didn't get there I'd leave.

RE: What is your favorite season..?And why..?

I like the summer.

I'm too skinny to retain my body heat, and I'd rather sweat

than shiver.
