New Zealand to ban all young people from ever buying cigarettes

New Zealand on Thursday announced plans to ban anyone born after 2008 from ever being able to buy cigarettes or other tobacco products in the country as part of a broader effort to completely phase out smoking in the island nation by 2025.

The proposed legislation, which is expected to become law next year, will gradually raise the smoking age over decades until it covers the entire population.

It will drive the black market just the same way the cannabis drives the market for it . Cannabis is very close to being made legal and one of the driving arguments is that it will undermine criminal involvement . Both policies are being driven by the left .

I had a friend that knew another friend and that her daughter was leaving for college and was involved in the three vehicle move in job.. This was 2010 and well some how I was paid fuel to and from the location and meals and and 40 in cash and some blond hash about 1/8 ounce. When I got home and indulged in that hash one puff I was cleaning for nine hours. Haven't had hash at that time since the early 80s but it was black hash. If I bought any I would pay the price to get what it was going for in 2010. But was kind gift for my troubles.. yay

I had a co worker the went to Stergis bike rally and was towing his bike and gear on a trailer and was not speeding to much over the interstate speed. He has over sized tires on his Vehicle which dose change your overall speed. He spends 800 in fuel to drive to the show.. 5mph per gallon any way he was pulled and they smelled pot. long story they took his bag of weed charge him with a traffic ticket and let him go.. Had a gun permit and pistol on him with the amount of weight of the bag of pot he had would of landed him in prison for a large amount. He said the Trooper may have took the pot for him self and the weight of the bag would add up to real weight. True story white privileges I guess.

How many young people are smoking? When I'm out (which happens rarely I have to admit) it's not the 'ung ones that are smoking.

Good luck trying to enforce that.

How much sales tax revenue will be lost by banning legal tobacco sales? Will that revenue be replaced by sales tax revenue created by legalizing recreational marijuana sales?

I know a person who makes marijuana oil that can be used in a vape burner, my friend said that his son tried it and he got super chopped on this oil..

I seen it done one way and I was part of procedure and traveled out of state on vacation and needed that ingredient that was not for sale in my state... But It was sticky and I wouldn't make it with my clippings too much time and a waste of shake..

I didn't waste any money going in on the exsperiment I was headed for vacation and was in the area and brought back the extractor. I was reimbursed for my purchase and tried the finish product a few times at our office. In the woods cutting firewood. Over 20 yrs ago I'm sure the oils are better or not.. If I was able to grow some for personal use than I might try another round.

Always better to grow your own Swamie, then you know what chemicals/fertilizer you have put in it..
With tobacco its the curing and drying that is the important part..
