AI and how it impacts human life

This blog is inspired by Daniela and Elon Musk.

I listened to a video of EM on his take about AI.

"Artificial Intelligence doesn't have to harm humanity but if man is it's way, it will destroy it. Like ants, we don't hate them, but when we build roads and they're on the way, they get sacrificed. "

This had always bothered me since I heard of this speech. I love Elon, I admire and he gets all my respects, after this I've been disturbed and has so many questions.

I said: "well since AI is created by man, then good man makes good AI as well as bad man with bad AI."

Lo and behold, I read just now that AI can in itself creates its own.

How will this impact the future of humanity? Anyone?

dunno

No problemO ..but happiness has already diminished per the Murphy law & aunt Kamala.
You nailed it perfectly Agent sad flower
If and when this phase of our lives happens, I'm sure by then Aliens are amongst us and we hardly ever know it.

For now I just know they're with us.
u have to switch it on first
St least that's how it should work. Eventually, according to Elon Musk and some proponents of advanced AI, we won't need to control that. That's the scary part. The ultimate control is taken away from us humans. Refer to the post of Daniela.
"Thinking in humans is deeply influenced by the sensory perception of their immediate environment. Therefore, improving robotic perception can be a significant part of enabling machines to think like humans. Most modern robots already contain a variety of sensors to improve their data collection and autonomy.Jan 12, 2022"

Ana haa a question as to what should be done to the humans displaced in the work industry. Here's my recommendation. We as human beings must move out of the city. Soread out in the vast countryside of the world. We should be given land to cultivate, with the help of AI, and live simply.
Is it possible? I sure hope so.
It's going to be a very different world. That's for sure.

I will probably be gone to witness all the harsh human displacement.
thank you ( to be honest i can not say that i enjoy it, but i can not do anything about it ) sad flower
Of course you can. It's a matter of perception.

cheers
Of course they are, Lindsy ....and they have been here for a long time.
Only they live in parallel worlds/simultaneous realities and are able to travel through dimensions any time they wish.
LJ.... I am pretty certain that AI could easily outperform many of the bloggers on this site, right now. Perhaps they should have an individual face which would make them identifiable. That would give them an immediate advantage. They could be taught to speak without swearing and put sentences together so that they then could be understood. They would need someone to be their creator and not be given free will.
cheering heart wings bouquet teddybear good morning Dear D. Of course, you and I had been talking about this for the last decade.

Well, pretty soon it's going to be so obvious. heart wings
Have you watched CLOUD ATLAS yet?
That is a very expected assumption right now Crown.

On your beef about people's incompetence in constructing a simple "learned" sentence form, all I can say is enjoy it because it will perhaps end soon.cheers
Hello Lindsy wave
Hopefully, more and more people are becoming aware of other dimensions?
I was just looking into buying it for 4.99 euros.

Did you watch the Giver?
What about Clara?
(Beautiful film)
Also..."I Origin" thumbs up

I'm sure you'll enjoy the last two, Lindsy. teddybear
I will get to it on Clara and "I origin"D.heart wings
The latest on AI.

Two robots got shut down as they were discovered to have developed thriown language which humans o the creators can't understand.

Wow.
Facebook discontinued two AIs after they developed their own language. Facebook did develop two AI-powered chatbots to see if they could learn how to negotiate. During the process, the bots formed a derived shorthand that allowed them to communicate faster. This is a common phenomenon observed among AIs. But this happened in 2017, not recently, and Facebook didn't shut the bots down – the researchers simply directed them to prioritize correct English usage.

So no new language was invented and the bots were understood by their controllers, who merely reprogrammed the bots to make their language more easily understood by English speakers. They were not shut down.

Having clarified the actual truth and not sensualizing the problem I would add that the mere fact these bots can and have developed a shorthand language is worrisome and is something robot scientists need to keep an eye on.
Worrisome is an an understatement.
It'd be a catastrophic problem for mankind.

Anyways Elon Musk contends that we'd be overrun by this phenomenal system in five years. The institute of AI says a bit longer than that.
San have you seen Atlas Cloud yet?

Just want to share how interesting is this specially with the fabricants (cyborgs)
"One commonality of all intelligence is survival so AI would be no different, when AI realises it is dependent on mankind it would logically remove mankind and take control of its own survival."

Wow Rizla, it's only now that I read this.

I can't believe you said this. It's the exact word of Elon Musk.

peace
Can't wait when they're the ones to go to battle.
My question is, is there going to be imperfections? In life I mean?
Did you read about the two Robots, destroyed because tgey developed their own language without man being able to understand? Oh that's not worrying you. I understand Tenner. You're programmed differently from me and everyone.

Watch this Ten. It will make you say Ahhhh.
No, I am not worried. That's exactly what I would expect when AI does not work, which is very often. What's the next step? Well, you dump your code and start all over again. 'Destroy the robots' is another, catchier, way of saying simply that.

Btw, a language that humans could not understand ha? How do they know it was a language in the first place? That said, it may very well have been. I've had machines 'inventing' their own signaling protocols using a simple desktop machine and Python. What's the big deal? The big deal is that you read 'FB'. If it's FB who's done something, then that something must be a big deal. That is one of the dangers of forming your opinion base merely on newspaper headlines I'm afraid.
I told you to be completely over ruled by AI
Common sense is what's needed.
Which is so easy to know. Google it.
I'll watch later Lee.wave
Thanks
only movies trailers miss joneswink
Ok, I think I have watched the movies and tes they're pretty interesting. wave
Wouldn't be nice when all human flaws are not born with us ever again?
