travels and places to go

I'm deviating from my usual entries of interest. This blog is inspired by the show I was watching last night. About the best yet economical places in the world to experience a remarkable and memorable vacation spot without breaking the bank.

I would want everyone to participate where they've been and why they recommend it? Doesn't have to be outside of their own country yet it's very beautiful and worth seeing?

Anyone? Thanks all for your reads and comments and contributions fellow citizens of CS.

Note: A friend who's never been out of Australia always go to the same place during his vacations. He's well off so it's not a matter of money. Well he hates flying but his response whenever I ask him is this: "Why would I go anywhere, the water in my place (Port Stephens), is the same. The weather would be the same, so why bother going so far away when here's a perfect place."

I've traveled in many places but not in South America, or Africa yet and my bucket lists includes Machu Pichu, and the Amazon.

Please share us your most desired place you've been into or even still planning to go to.

Thanks again.

hiya well i have traveled a lot in my time and as for places that were cheap or the best ever deals i have had then there are too many to mention, but the best ever deal i had was with an airline called ryan air an irish airline, and i flew from england to barcelona in spain or the pricely sum of 10 english pounds and that was for a return flight and i have yet to beat that price,,
i nearly did last year, when i went back to england from here in turkey and that flight cost me 21 euro,s which was pretty amazing as well,,,
and for value for money hence living and eating then prague comes very close to the top of my list, with the exception of bulgaria as that is to cheap to be real,,
Thanks Edison, hmnn very nice, when our US dollar was higher than the Euro, it was so easy to hop on a plane for a couple of weeks in Italy, Florence my choice besides Venice, but now Mexico and Asia iz still very affordable. In the Philippines, there's a place Called Boracay, and go in winter which is now and very nice.
Vacations are greatdancing but opening up and delving into the world of a total stranger can be a much more exciting, and rewarding destination, professor
if we could only pick people destinations, . .as easily as we pick our travel destinations sigh
Well jester you're so right. We have a good cheap air advertised all the time here? My pastime is pick promo stay in a decent hotel and walk the area. Places I love are little tows Napa Valley where I come from? Try it.

I am afraid of leaving out of my Country. Because! They might not let me come in. Not even to get my clothes and food!
And no! I don't even, want to go to New York either. Any state or city. But! Not New York. Sorry! Adjest......drinking
LJ. ...Okay!
Maybe! Canada. But! That's it, for now.
Traveled alot back in the 80's...
Now my travels are just around Asia and Australia as it is cheaper...
The best place I'd ever been to was Kodiak, great fishing, hiking and wildlife is amazing....would love to go back there but I doubt I would do so as it is very expensive considering the value of our currency is quite low.....sigh
My President don't worry, we'll clean up the bad areas and promote tourism big time.
Surrey and Vancouver my friend is beautiful.
pepper's blocked anywhere anyway, so no way! roll eyes

Yeah Right!......rolling on the floor laughing
laugh Oh, Yeah!
I'm in that No! Fly zone........rolling on the floor laughing
money always matters....and some sense.
G yes of course money matters but that's why, the best for your money.
Yes, butter's place would be nice or Lou, our beautiful friend.
I am of no value. None of the places I have been still exist anymore. Time changes all. Beautiful native women grow old. Highrise hotels get built on pristine uncluttered beaches. Lovely streams filled with Rainbow Trout bigger than my arm have turned into sewerage laden oily devoid of life creeks, etc.
Thailand (Koh Samui) was one of the best and least expensive vacations I've had. Vietnam has become quite popular.

Eastern European cities I think are lot less pricey than their Western counterparts. Prague is beautiful.
Post thanks for your contribution, yes, eastern Europe is cheaper but Asia is even better for the weather, and value specially if you live in the Midwest where it's so cold.
Hi beautiful Lindsy wave

P,

Have you ever been to Puerto Princessa, Palawan, Php? Beautiful area. Great beaches and weather! I spent about 3 weeks there. Loved it!thumbs up
Of course Mimi, I'm going with you on that one and is your Bobikins going to be with you soon?
Of course Jim, if only I know how to upload I'd share. What about Boracay did you go?
Phy,
No I did not go to Boracay. Only had time to go to one place and Palawan was recommended.
* I dont know why I wrote 2 hours and half LOL but Viterbo its only ~ 50 min car from north of Rome.but if you wanna go to centre of Rome that's another pair of hands.

laugh
Alexandro, thanks for the beautiful places you shared. I personally love Milan, Venice and Florence.

Paris is very unique but Geneva is such an international setting. I also love st. Moritz.
Jim when you go back? Let me know. I am planning on retiring there every six months of the year and Baguio is a most recommended place, too. 7 thousands feet above sea level and 45 to 7th degrees all year round. Shangri LA of the Philippines.
Anyone wants to Google Banawe Rice Terraces, and Baguio will not be disappointed.

Thanks Jim.
Hi LJ hug

Of the places I have been to, Cuba has to be my favourite. The people, the music, the dance, the beaches -all amazing. I will return.

Warsaw, Poland was surprisingly interesting, and extremely cheap to eat out and drink.

Rome was gorgeous, a beautiful church or art gallery around every corner.

I return to Spain over and over again. I love the climate and the beautiful sites such as the Alhambra in Granada; the Sagrada Familia in Barcelona; the pretty white villages of the Alpujarras... smitten

For spectacular scenery, culture and great locals grin , it has to be my own beautiful country, Ireland. cheers

Molly of course, Ireland. I can associate a great friendship there in the emerald isle and hope to visit next year.
Thanks again Molly.
LJ.
It has a lot to do with traveling, my friend. I'm not in that state. So! I will have to travel to get there. It's not a walking distance for me. Am in another state, my friend.
