the weather is still bad until November and I planned to hunt those elusive and legendary haggis at that time.
Is the American ban on the import of haggis still in place? I see it is listed as one of the 10 weirdest foods on earth.

Apparently the Yanks don't like the brown meat of chicken either. They export chicken wings, thighs and drumsticks for very cheap. Even with our poor exchange rate it is still cheaper to import.
I really likes Beef Liver!...
I'm a beef eater but I don't like beef liver. I prefer lamb liver. Eat it at least once a week. Liver is healthy and very cheap here.
Liver is cheap here! Especially where I buy it from. I mostly buy it from the Hispanic Stores. Because there meats are cheaper! And their tray of uncooked chicken is 2/ 3 times less the price of American people stores are here. Even there loaf of breads is cheaper
A 12-14 pieces chicken on a tray! Cost round $2.00- $ 3.50. Americans Stores in this state cost $ 7.00- $ 12.00

I never tried lamb's liver either. Not a huge liver fan, although I eat some chicken-liver pate every now and then as apparently it is good for us.
Cat, the haggis is basically all the bits not already earmarked for sausages, plus oats and herbs and added vitamins, wrapped in the stomach. Yum. I THINK the US objection is that it contains offal.
Offally good, though.

I never buy chicken so I won't know the price but I think if you convert the price you pay at the Hispanic stores to our currency we pay about the same. My sister said she's been buying chicken, imported from the USA (drumsticks, thighs and wings) for a little less that our local prices.
Can you see now what I meant last night when I said there is some resemblance between your blog and the blog I had prepared for today?
The lamb liver I fry does not look as nice as yours. I fry it with onions and add red wine to it. Very tasty though.
I did not speak for everybody else. I said that I don't like it.

I fry it with lots of onions and lots spices too....my son loves it with Kubos ( Arabic bread)
