Attack on Finsbury Park Mosque in London

This is getting to be a chaotic world we live in.

Tragedy after tragedy.

Shall it end? Or will it get worse?

Any opinions?

wave you forgot the attack in Paris today?

It will get worse before getting better. It's the new "blood sport "
the only good suggestion on the news, is every hate, word, saying, counteract with a love word.

The innternet is full of inciting hate instead of inciting love.

I cannot think of any other way, even if it is said over coffee, or a beer, or on the bus, train etc, counteract that hate message with a love message, and a smile.
Daniela, not good and quite honestly very depressing.

It's nice to think that way Red, but in all honesty, it's not always possible as these acts and counter acts, not to mention the political temperament around policies that create in response to this acts are going to be harsh.

I'm sure when a country us beset with angst and anger, martial law is a policy waiting to be enacted.
Lindsay, Unfortunately, it is just what ISIS and their ilk want. To turn one against the other and cause mayhem and chaos, fighting and hatred.

It seems, today, it is working.

It can be turned around with the will of course gg kiss
I think it's a good indication of "end times". But no one knows for sure. Christ will appear when that actually happens.

I don't see any indication it will end soon! In my estimation, Russia is making a huge effort for world domination!
Ed hate will end your life quicker kiss
I can think of many possibilities why these evil acts are dominating our world. Either it truly serves some religious beliefs that it's the end times, or for political gains, profits on the over use of ammunition. Then again maybe our world is really getting too rotten and man is writing it's own destiny. That of our extinction.

I am affected of course as most are but like Red says : we balance it by going out of our way smiling and spreading more love.

Thanks everyone. I'll get back after dinner.

Ms jones, it is as expected sad flower
Redex ~ well said, The media last night didnot go down to the Dinners for a penny, where a Francisian Friar has a huge kitchen in Town, in church Street, and nobody is turned away.... there are many in all big cities, Cork,
Galway, here just like that.

The people get a lovely 3 course meal, it is clean , and they keep their dignity. That is rarely highlighted in the papers, or the people who work voluntarily, of all faiths, and no faith. Good NEWS doesnot sell Newspapers.

Bad news and Bad headlines does. wave
Right you are, gg! sad

In the News for pay game -
'If it dies...it flies!
If it bleeds...it leads!'

Why, do you suppose, this is so?

Because that's what we buy. Like when we rubber-neck when we pass a traffic accident. Or a train wreck.
mic-lee i do not rubber neck i would stop to help if i could.

The news is just money then??? well it wants curbing or the whole world will not be fit to live in and then where will they be.
The hounded Princess D and then they were supposed to self regulate. I think it needs laws against inciting hatred. Not against news but the way it is presented.
conrad that was worth a read, thanks for the share thumbs up
'The news is just money then???'

You bet it is, red!
Ads in newspapers, radio & TV news programs pay the bills.
Advertising revenues correlate directly to circulation/viewership.

So news outlets report what sells...in the manner that sells.
'If it dies...If it bleeds...'...thumbs up

We may not like it. It may not serve us well.
But it is what sells.
'And', to quote TV anchorman Walter Cronkite, 'that's the way it is.'

cowboy
I do not think "thats just the way it is" that is a cop out, i know papers sells, but even that is going down hill as internet provides recant news the papers are hours old.

that statement is like saying ISIS "just the way it is" you cannot just let things slide, you can make rules, we all survive better under rules.
Thanks all for your comments.

I agree on the last comment of Red, we're far better with established rules.
But not rules that opts out the majority.
Conrad, that's a very interesting video, thanks.
praison they do in my neck of the woods, but you know there are always bad apples and at the moment good muslims are being persecuted.

Humans are humans and should be treat under same laws until anyone proves they work outside the law of the land you are in.thumbs up
Praison that's what is needed globally and perhaps if they become united in condemning it like you said, that'd be a great impact. wave

So very nice to see you. Hi to your better half Ron..

Still living in Asia? Or moved to England. hug
