Smoking and its benefits
I am inspired to write this blog because a friend of mine told me that there are indeed known benefits for being a smoker. He said and I quote: It calms him down and that is a very good benefit.
I respect that.
Note: I lost 3 good friends from this habit and it was very sad, they were all under the age of 55.
Question: Are all smokers enjoy this benefit? Are there other benefits that you know of?
Are there hardcore smokers that you know of who would want to quit but can't?
Thanks all for reading and or comments if any.

You say you lost 3 good friends from this habit and they were all under 55, whether true or not, you should be aware that like women, mens bodies go through a biological change between the age of 49 and 53, regardless of any "bad" habits, the body cannot adjust and the person dies.
I have been a smoker from the age of 18. I like smoking, I dont really want to quit, however, since May of this year I have been trying to give up (my choice for no specific reason).
In general, I do not feel any benefit, although have noticed I dont cough as much.
They all had their lungs destroyed.
That's not right for any doctor to associate all illnesses to smoking. Lol, there are many sick people and also die young without smoking.
I don't have any faith in big corporations.
And yes health insurance is way costlier there than from the bay area.
I respect your opinion. I do recognize some benefits per other's arguments.
Calming effect to me, is on the top.
Smoking may lower risk of knee replacement. ...
Smoking may lower risk of Parkinson's disease. ...
Smoking may lower risk of obesity. ...
Smoking may lower risk of death after some heart attacks. ...
Smoking may alleviate ulcerative colitis. ...
Smoking may reduce stress... but it's unclear.
From Google.
They're profit driven and that's all that matters to them.
I agree completely with your opinion and reaction.
Lol Sweet on one of my thread my number one reason for disliking a possible partner is smoking.
Now being on this position doesn't mean I don't respect smokers.
That's their choice and I don't impose my personal preference. I do avoid them.
the only benefit connected to the smoking was quitting it...
I can not believe I ever wanted to smoke...
No wonder you stand on that ground of No benefit position. I am so happy for you.
I've always hated my clothes and hair to smell of cigarettes, and never allowed smoking inside my home...
The benefits were obvious, fitter and healthier...
Once you´ve eliminated the root, the "problem" doesn´t come back.
I hope she'll figure it out Daniela.
She is impressed with all of our responses.
She relates much to Zman on tg her calming effect.
Good morning.
