Sorry, didn't mean to disappear

Have had a few mails asking why I have suddenly vanished. I can assure you all that it was something beyond my control. In a nutshell,I have spent the past 9 days lying in a hospital bed the result of a severe heart attack Have had a bypass and so far so good, but I will be keeping a low profile for a while as it is not exactly something that one can overcome in a short period of time. Docs say I will be fine, time to give up the ciggies. I may not be commenting, But I will be scrutinising with the utmost scrut! Keep up the good work guys, and providing the guy with the sickle doesn't call on me will rejoin you soon. wave hug devil

Missing CS Member Is Doing Just Fine...

Hello everyonewave

For those who care, I was just given permission to share this news with you here on CS regarding our CS member Keys707, who has been AWOL for some time... I realize some of you have been wondering as to where he has been and his whereabouts, some haven't given his missing any thought or missed his inspirational blogs, and some of you think that he is no longer posting them because maybe you said something to run him away, and you're glad he is no longer posting...

Well, Keys is not a running, he is a true fighter,. After his last blog post, he became ill and it was found that he had a brain tumor. He's doing fine at this time undergoing his many treatments, with more to start on Monday.

Please pray for his emotional, mental, and physical healing and that he recovers very soon. Pray that God will touch his body with His mighty powerful healing hands, and Keys will recover and be completely enclosed in his right mind and regain his physical strength.

Thank you and I will keep you posted of his progress kiss hug peace

Death Of The King (Of The Ring) #

Even Though Mohamed Ali Had been ln the later stages of a crippling Ailment the world ls rocked to lts core to hear of his sad passing. RIP.
People who had no lnterest ln sport were still drawn by his charisma. We will never see this greatness and
Character again. People will point that Rocky Marciano was the only Heavyweight Champion never beaten
( Compared to 5 losses ln Ali's professional record but when you consider Frazier,Cooper,Foreman, Liston &
Patterson to pick the most famous, an argument must be made that Ali / Clay fought ln a more difficult era.

As well as being the showman and great athlete this giant was smart and articulate and had a wit which
Endeared him to his lnterviewers and his captive audience.
Sadly now l expect there will be awful squabbling and bickering between his wife and all the children from his
Current and previous marriages. It ls a great pity as undignified behaviour ls an lnsult to this man's greatness.

Heaven ls A Better Place Now .

Fluoride

The US government has finally admitted they’ve overdosed Americans on fluoride and, for the first time since 1962, is lowering their recommended level of fluoride in drinking water.

The CDC reports that around 40% percent of Americans have dental fluorosis, a condition referring to changes in the appearance of tooth enamel — from chalky-looking lines and splotches to dark staining and pitting — caused by long-term ingestion of fluoride during the time teeth are forming.

Spring time again.

No winter lasts forever
no spring skips its turn..

Its almost spring time again
A time to open the doors and let in the clean air of spring.
I am looking forward to living outside and the garden,

Yet there is a sad thought when I think of the Bees aound the world.
Is there any-gardenr here in Blog-land who have taken notice of the bee population.

As for myslef last year on my walks I did not see alot of bees in the wild plants or in the gardens.

Scientists have discover what is killing off the bees and that say its worse than we thouht...

Propylene glycol. It has a lot of the same properties as antifreeze, but it's not toxic.

Lose weight now, this is how!

Ok. A universal problem and think I may have a universal easy answer: don't eat, drink!

Ah, don't be daft. We need to eat, right?... Not so fast. We probably need to eat very little. As long as we're getting sufficient nutrients via food AND drink, we may not need much by the way of food, at all!

So how do I do it? Well, the answer is simple. To stay slim, I fill my hunger with fluids in the first instance. So any hunger pangs...fill it with fluids... until, you can't stand it anymore!!! Then, have something small to eat. Then, fill the rest up with fluids again! In my case, coffee with honey and milk. And, more coffee with honey and milk. And, you guessed it! I almost live off coffee with honey and milk.

It'll keep ya slim alright. Just make sure the food is minimal, and the fluids are maximal. Enjoy.

Any questions? Fire away!

Another Year Older

Well, today I turn 51. Yikes! I know I should be happy that it's my birthday, but I'm not. I know the alternative is I'd be in the ground, so I have that to be grateful for. Ever since I turned 40, I have not wanted to celebrate my birthday. My parents are coming, from Ohio, tomorrow to celebrate my birthday. So, I will put a smile on my face and act happy.

So, how do you face growing older with grace and appreciation?

LIFE HAS CHANGED, new update

Hello everyone, it has been 4 months since I have been going through with my illness. I have had 3 radiation treatments on my brain, and have had 33 radiation on my lung and 6 chemotherapy. Will be having a MRI on my brain and another scan on my lung to see where I'm at since these treatments. Then I will be going through immunotherapy every 2 weeks for a year.

I feel tired and get dizzy and can loose my balance when standing up, but other than that I feel ok.

I am finally back at my home after 4 months away, there is no place like home.

Thanks everyone for your concern, all the prayers and strong energy sent my way.

what causes cancer

We know...or at least hear all the time that smoking causes cancer. We hear that certain chemical products have been known to cause cancer. We hear that this that and the other causes cancer....

But....what about smoking causes cancer? Is it the whole process of smoking that causes it? Is it just one ingredient in it that starts the cancer? How does cancer start in the first place? To me, saying that smoking causes cancer is just to vague of a statement. I would suspect that our science has narrowed down more specifically what it is about smoking that causes and starts it. If so, why don't they remove that element from smoking....or from the certain chemicals that have been known to cause cancer?

This blog is not about quitting smoking....it is about getting a more detailed explanation of the origins and starting causes of cancer.
