A person can go down on his hands and knees to please another and yet he sees no love because the other person loves somebody else unconditionally.

So I've decided to write my thoughts out in public for the first time...call it blogging if you will...because having been on a few dating sites I am disturbed. These days honesty is rare and not usually celebrated....though everyone asks for it. Scammers and liars themselves root for honesty while busy plying their trade. It angers me that the few honest folks who visit these websites get lost in the sea of no good disgusting deceivers and one has to be searching for the needle in the haystack wasting valuable time and energy just to see if you can locate a decent genuine human being to communicate with. What the hell is wrong with people!???
Then there is the matter of the schemes of these liars according to gender....so funny. The idiotic so called males all want you on watsapp etc right away. Then comes the request for nudes - like seriously?!
The no good women who make it bad for real women reportedly ask for cash, phones etc right off the bat.
This has been going on for so long you would think these asses would have changed tactics by now.
Anyhoo....just venting. Having gotten that off my chest - EXHALE??

I logged on this morning to see a new feature on CS.
All the new profiles are marked with a red 'New' banner on the top left corner!
Wondering how long these new profiles have to wear the 'veil of newbiehood' I got to page 34 before the banners disappeared.
That could easily be profiles created 2 weeks ago.
So, it should be no surprise when when you get hit with a 'like' or unsolicited email that the person behind the keyboard has only been here a short time.

Come on now! You can do better than that. You have met this gorgeous piece of female flesh at some convention, exhibition or whatever. You know nothing about each other – other than your names but you do know that there is a flicker of interest from her side. And here you are, seated with her in the cafeteria enjoying a cup of coffee or whatever and you need to break that initial awkward silence.

Talking about work will not be a good idea. She may not like her job or she may be out of a job at the time. You should rather hope that the conversation will take off so well that it will drift back to work by itself later; or even better, at a next meeting.

You want to know everything about her but you cannot keep peppering her with questions as it may leave the impression that you are inquisitive. Most of all, you want to know if she is single, but you’re not going to ask that. Get her to talk about herself. So avoid questions that can be answered with a simple ‘yes' or a ‘no’. You have to drag her out to volunteer as much as possible about herself.

Avoid talking about things that could be embarrassing to her. Don’t delve into her past, her academic qualifications, etc though her childhood is ok – that is if she wants to talk about it.

So what do you ask? Well, you can try asking her what she enjoys doing in her spare time. If you’re lucky she won’t stop talking. And now there are so many questions you can ask with safety. Like what is her favorite evening out, her favorite food or favorite movie, or just about everything. The big thing is to pay attention to what she says and to answer her questions honestly when she starts asking.

Well then Romeo, if she is still not in a hurry by the time the second coffees arrive, you’re set; it will be safe to ask for her phone number. If there was somebody important in her life, she would have worked him into the conversation by then.

But ladies, this is not just for men. Some men are very clumsy with words and need some encouragement. Nothing prevents you ladies from taking the initiative. This is the 21st century and on top of it, next year is a leap year so you can pop the question yourself.
