This question was asked by many many men....in fact there is now a movement that is still rather in its infancy and is growing "MGTOW" ....Men Go Their Own Way....

With my research this is the first I heard of this movement.

Basically, this movement has a common question that men seem to ask...

With divorce favoring women as much as it does...what benefit is there for a man to become married?

1. She’s confident in herself and who she is.
younger years are a great time for self-discovery, so by the time a woman is a little further on in life, she’ll know her own mind. Also, there seems to always be a little drama when you’re in a serious relationship, but with age comes less tolerance for games.

They have a better understanding of life. They have a stronger love for life and are passionate about what they do. Older women are usually more thoughtful and caring. They understand that compromise is sometimes part of the deal and are willing to do what is necessary for the good of the relationship.

Most younger women don’t have the courage to come straight out and say it. It’s not anything against them it is just the culture. But, older women are usually past this and are more open and comfortable with their desires and goals.

Life can be called a big experiment and a learning experience. And when you date an older woman, you accelerate your learning. You learn about yourself, and you can improve sexually, mentally, and emotionally. If you are with a woman that you can’t learn anything from, then you are with the wrong woman. I’m far from being an expert on what impresses women, but, over the years, I’ve picked up a little knowledge of what doesn’t. Maybe I’ve even got misconceptions about that in some cases where I’ve been the victim of a double bluff. As naive as I may still be, I’ve certainly come a long way since my teens when I thought that motorbikes with very loud exhaust pipes worked like an aphrodisiac. Then, when I got a bit older, I remember having to shed my belief that having a thorough knowledge of standard timber sizes and the relative merits of hard and soft wood made me irresistible to the opposite sex.

I don’t think we ever get too old to stop making prats of ourselves by barking up the wrong tree when trying to show off, so I’m always eager to learn what other misapprehensions I might need to get rid of.

Sure, the young folks you meet traveling and hosteling are a very select group, statistically. But except for Asians, comparatively rare here in Portugal, I'm always meeting fairly large percentages of those not born with silver spoons. Ages from 20-about 30's, and often university educated, which makes it tough to practice foreign languages, all being so good in the world tongue. I see many similarities in style, with our twin girls, regarding how to live and to be, that make me smile. So different from many of us of the working classes half a century ago. Priorities, choices, needs, GF/BF relations, other views on friendships, parents, school, the poor, and so much more. Sort of brings that tingle down the leg each time. But of course, I avoid even the smallest kind word about the Donald.
