Leaping over the bench and attacking the judge...

On Wednesday, a Nevada man who was denied probation over charges of attempted battery, leaps over the bench to take down the judge and punches out the Marshall as 3 men tried to subdue him. He was airborne for 2 seconds and she saw him coming but couldn't get out of the way.
He was due back in court today but I'm waiting to hear the followup story. I doubt the court would be willing to release the man any time soon, as one comment stated attacking a judge is a felony offense... you never know.

multiple personality disorder

If we look closely, every person in the world is suffering from this disease. Our personality keeps changing according to our feelings. When anger, hatred, greed, ego, fear, lust, etc. dominate us, our behavior changes completely, and it affects our life also. Similarly, when good feelings awaken within us, our behavior also becomes good. Our personality depends on our good and bad feelings.
If we could control our feelings, we can get a stable personality and a stable life.

India pivots

As shown in the below video, India has greatly decreased the amount of oil it buys from Russia. There are multiple reasons for this and the video touches on them. At the same time, although India had initially claimed neutrality in Russia's illegal invasion and war with Ukraine, in the past month numerous sharp eyed persons have begun noticing (and posting photos of) 155 mm artillery shells being used by Ukraine that bear unmistakable evidence that they have been supplied to Ukraine by India.
My impression is India did not want to pick a side to back until which side would win became more clear. At the same time there was a financial incentive to buy Russian oil and oil products at a huge discount while waiting to see which side would win the war. Clearly India has decided the winner of the conflict will not be Russia.

Not the way I wanted the new year to begin

Once again, I didn't listen to the "little voice in my head", which told me to prepare individual presents for my workmates. I didn't do this, as I think making it individual is too personal, and I do this only for friends and family.

My last night at work before Christmas, was the 17 December. I like the team I'm working with, so same as the year before, I prepared a "thank you present" this time a crate of 5 kg clementine and about 1.5 kg small chocolates for the whole team. I bought all this with my own money.

The muslim guy working the evening shift said he doesn't eat sweets, but took a few clementine before leaving, that was ok. I told him that the present was for everyone. On the morning of 18/12, before going home, I presented the present to the morning staff... people who I've been working with for almost 2 years. They were happy and thanked me.

I returned to work on the 26, and everything was gone, even the presents we got from the families of the people we take care of. Last year, there was still some available, even until the new year.

On Monday night, first night in the new year, one of my workmates for almost 2 years, who is also one of the women who received the Xmas gift, told me that on the morning of the 19/12, there was nothing left of my present to them, but 2 others had had their boxes filled with clementines.

Tuesday morning, before leaving work, I asked another long time workmate, if she had gotten anything from the present, she replied "no", but 2 others were eating lots of clementines on the days after I had left the present.

This pi$$ed me off, made me upset and very, very angry, to the point that, not even listening to a book on the way home (I usually do this to and from work) calmed me down. I had breakfast, showered, went to bed, but couldn't sleep, I was crying, I kept thinking of what those 2 young muslim men had done. As they were working yesterday afternoon, I felt like instead of sleeping, I'd go back to work and confront about their behaviour.

Not wanting to cause problems, as I know I would have done, being as angry as I was (If i cry when I'm angry, it means I've reached, or am almost to "the point of no return"). I called and talked to one of my bosses, who calmed me down and I was able to sleep, but she said when I talk to the 2 men, to do it in a calm way, and say it wasn't nice of them, to do what they had done.

Some days before Xmas, I was talking to those 2 men and they said they don't celebrate Xmas, as it isn't part of their religion or culture.

My point with this blog is, why the hell did they eat and or even take home all of what I had left as a Xmas present for everyone...9 including then both. I've been working with the team for almost 2 years, 1 of those men started working with us 4, the other 2 months ago, which is also the same amount if time they've been working in the nursing home.... You don't celebrate Xmas, but your should still have something called a conscience, and respect for others and their cultures.

I'm not sure if I'll see them the 2 nights I'm working next week, but 1 thing is for sure, even if I'm off duty when they're working, I'm going to go to work and have a serious conversation with them about this. Not only that, I'l tell then that before their ramadan begins, they have to buy a big cake for the team. I'm not going to threaten them, just say it in a nice friendly way, whilst hiding the "poison" behind my smiles.

Runaway blogs...

The formula for a runaway blog is pretty simple. Use one or both topics: Politics. Religion. Sprinkle in some narrow attitude to opposing opinions and you've got yourself a runaway blog!

Advice for Trump

Forget about the 2024 Presidential elections, forget about making America great.

Even you can't fix what Biden has done to the US.

US government federal debt has breached an unflattering milestone, topping $34 trillion for the first time in history and amounting to more than double the total of the world’s next-biggest borrower, China.

The total US federal debt is roughly equivalent to the economies of China, Germany, Japan, India and the UK combined, as pointed out by the Peter G. Peterson Foundation, a nonpartisan fiscal policy group in New York.

The banana US.

As much as I learned in school, anyone can run for President as long as they are over 35 and a natural born citizen of the US. It is part of democracy that our forefathers determined made a free country.
Around the world we see how the people don't count and votes don't either. From Kings to Dictators to military rule, leaders are ordered and appointed, not elected.
Putin has a simple answer to a rival..put him in jail in Siberia. Other countries just cause accidents or threats to prevent anyone running against the chosen leader. And his henchmen.
Now we have states saying Trump can't be on the primary ballots. They site some part of number 14 that is about insurgents. It doesn't matter that Trump has not been found guilty of the part they say he played on Jan 6. The judge is judge and jury and states to H with the trial, she says he is guilty.
I see a major break down in our democracy. Putin/Navaly...the libs/Trump.
I guess Trump is lucky that he hasn't fallen out of a window, drank tea or had a plane failure.
Also, I see what the Dems are doing is voter suppression and over turning a free election the same way.
Long ago a man ran for POTUS from his prison cell. I guess back then, we still were a Democracy and not a Banana Republic.very mad doh

Who's who on Jeffrey Epstein's list of associates...

A few hours ago, USA TODAY published a story about newly unsealed Jeffrey Epstein-related court documents. BUSINESS INSIDER also ran the story and claim the documents listed more than 170 associates, friends and possibly clients who flew to his private island for the activities that went on there.
From the look of things, there's enough 'doe' to start a bakery!

Surely more details will come to light in the days ahead...
