Romans 7:6 But now, by dying to what once bound us, we have been released from the law so we may serve in the ((new)) way the Spirit, not the old way of the written code.

Oswald Chambers: We have to recognize that sin is a fact of life, not just a shortcoming, sin is blatant mutiny against God, and either sin or God must die in my life. The New Testament brings us right down to this issue-if sin rules in me, God's life in me will be killed; if God rules me in me, sin will be killed. There is nothing more fundamental than that.

Really the the passages by Paul and Oswald speak for themselves. :) The question is what are we a slave to ?? What does your mind and soul yearn for?? And what is your motivation in life and goals as a person and your relationship to Jesus Christ? Separation from God or a daily renewal through the Holy Spirit on a daily basis as many times as it takes a day to stay in connection with the Lord.

It's like a gameplan either you go in life or your day without a plan and saying durrr God's got me?? Or you go to God for help and the Spirit testifies for help and restoration for that day.
Knowing the salvation plan is the battle won.

So without a gameplan and awareness of the things around us and not (((expecting))) God to do something He expects us to take the salvation plan and He will. Satan is a genius and a harassing bully and without that applied daily you will fall away somehow. Remember a growing plant is a watered plant.

So I'm either a slave to sin or a slave to God???
I'm free I'm no one's slave people may say. Ok get the context of the meaning, discern it in the Spirit. Whatever controls you you are a slave to. If any sin controls you to a point you can't control it go to the Lord and really ask for it to be cut out.

I sin first one to admit I'm getting harassed by some moron. With threats and such, and I would like to jab him in the nose, would make me feel better. But not letting that thought and emotion
((control)) me and not acting out on it. That is a battle won. So not punching him and just thinking about it it's not controlling me lol.

Last night I repented of a lot of bitterness, and a lot of anger and emotions. I said Lord ya know I'm not perfect and I will never be. You know my heart, motive, and drive, and passions. Can you please purify them in your Spirit. And this morning He done just that.

My ((action)) awareness and not being a self righteous man and showing humility to the Lord gave me a new heart and start for today. Might have to do it again soon lol. It's like a wrestling match me Vs me Vs satan's chump temptations.
As WWE and TNA may call the three way match.

First I have to closeline satan out the ring with his chump mind games and than I have to go to the Lord and pin myself for victory in that sin.
In the Spirit all day everyday can I have ((total)) victory in myself and in the Lord's eyes in His Spirit I'm a spotless lamb:)
