Christian life

I was years ago during my high school years what some would call a "jesus freak". I was never interested in church growing up but in high school I met this boy who was so sure of his love for god. He wanted to be a preacher and he just had this sort of light that shown. He made you want to know more and to find the kind of peace he had. Well I atteneded church and bible groups about 4 days a week. I was taught to preach and basically force people into church. I said horrible things about gays I had met. I barely spoke to my father cause he didn't understand my need to go to church. I pretty much only hung out with other teens from church and youth leaders. Well to make a long story short that young man who introduced me to church also introduced me a woman 17 years older then us who had a child. He said she was a woman strong in faith and that she needed some people in her life. I felt so strongly for this boy and god that I welcomed her to are church family. One day right after we turned 17 he took us out to dinner and afterwards she drove me home on the way she told me she was seeing him and they were in love. That god had spoke to them and they were ment to be together. I was floored he was 17 and she 34. After that I felt betrayed and questioned how people really were behind my back. I guess really my heart eas broken. Now this man is married to her has 4 kids and is not a preacher. But I want to know how to find christians to talk to who are not going to tell me to hate gays, jews and liberals. I want to be able to listen to secular music, watch movies and even drink a martini with tom my gay friend without judgement. Ya know? sorry this bog was so long just has a lot on my mind when it came to this.

Time and Forgiveness

Chapter 2: Time and Forgiveness" "Aaron is off on a search to rescue the Princess. She has been snatched by a horrible and evil monster. This happened because Aaron made a mistake." "Not just one. He made many mistakes during the time they spent together, all those years ago. Memories of their relationship have become muddled, replaced wholesale, but one remains clear: the princess turning sharply away, her braid lashing at him with contempt." "He knows she tried to be forgiving, but who can just shrug away a guilty lie, a stab in the back? Such a mistake will change a relationship irreversibly, even if we have learned from the mistake and would never repeat it. The princess's eyes grew narrower. She became more distant." "Our world, with its rules of causality, has trained us to be miserly with forgiveness. By forgiving them too readily, we can be badly hurt. But if we've learned from a mistake and became better for it, shouldn't we be rewarded for the learning, rather than punished for the mistake?" "What if our world worked differently? Suppose we could tell her: 'I didn't mean what I just said,' and she would say: 'It's okay, I understand,' and she would not turn away, and life would really proceed as though we had never said that thing? We could remove the damage but still be wiser for the experience." "Aaron and the Princess lounge in the castle garden, laughing together, giving names to the colorful birds. Their mistakes are hidden from each other, tucked away between the folds of time, safe." "Chapter 3: Time and Mystery" "All those years ago, Aaron had left the Princess behind. He had kissed her on the neck, picked up his travel bag, and walked out the door. He regrets this, to a degree. Now he's journeying to find her again, to show her knows how sad it was, but also to tell her how good it was." "For a long time, he thought they had been cultivating the perfect relationship. He had been fiercely protective, reversing all his mistakes so they would not touch her. Likewise, keeping a tight rein on her own mistakes, she always pleased him." "But to be fully couched within the comfort of a friend is a mode of existence with severe implications. To please you perfectly, she must understand you perfectly. Thus you cannot defy her expectations or escape her reach. Her benevolence has circumscribed you, and your life's achievements will not reach beyond the map she has drawn." "Aaron needed to be non-manipulable. He needed a hope of transcendence. He needed, sometimes, to be immune to the Princess's caring touch." "Off in the distance, Aaron saw a castle where the flags flutter even when the wind has expired, and the bread in the kitchen is always warm. A little bit of magic." "Chapter 4: Time and Place" "Visiting his home for a holiday meal, Aaron felt as though he had regressed to those long-ago years when he lived under their roof, oppressed by their insistence on upholding strange values which, to him, were meaningless. Back then, bickering would erupt over drops of gravy spilt onto the tablecloth." "Escaping, Aaron walked in the cool air toward the university he'd attended after moving out of his parent's home. As he distanced himself from that troubling house, he felt the embarrassment of childhood fading into the past. But now he stepped into all the insecurities he'd felt at the university, all the panic of walking a social tightrope." "Aaron only felt relieved after the whole visit was over, sitting back home in the present, steeped in contrast he saw how he'd improved so much from those old days. This improvement, day by day, takes him ever-closer to finding the Princess. If she exists - she must! - she will transform him, and everyone." "He felt on his trip that every place stirs up an emotion, and every emotion invokes a memory: a time and location. So couldn't he find the Princess now, tonight, just by wandering from place to place and noticing how he feels?

GOATEE'S LETTING GOD BE GOD

Oswald Chambers: But you must always be willing to come to a point of giving up your convictions and traditional beliefs. Don't ask God to test you. Never declare as Peter did that you are willing to do anything even go to... but prison and death. Abraham did not make any such statement- he simply remained true to God and God purified his faith.

1 Corinthians 10:9 We should not test the Lord, as some of them did.

You have alot of different believers. Some understand, some don't, and some have went nuts. I've tested myself, and people in alot of things for answers and ability to teach well. I'm no expert I'm no genius teaching reality brings life and stability and I got a bit of sense.com.

Had a guy way back say we are trying to mold men like in the days of old. Well I didn't agree and still don't. Paul, John, etc had the same God same Spirit just in a different time frame and culture. To try to be them as in their traditions well ?? go ahead?? any point?? not really/?

We have different issues and we are in a different culture. So what is the common sense idea to reach?? Seek God in the things today and idea's for salvation men have and are doing that why change it/? Satan doesn't fear tradition he will whoop us in that. He fears people in a connection with life. We can't have a Paul of today or a Peter. We can carry the anointing they had and bring life to people like they did.

It's dangerous to try to force character traits on people. Reason alot walk away, they can't because you are giving them impossible morals apart from Christ. Jesus is interested in Spirit filled vessels not nutty religious rule givers. People need a Holy Spirit charge and conscience to be good not a pushy boss.

I'm guilty following others in their insanity but now and alot seeking the Lord and knowing His truth I see now it's about Him and not me.
He is big enough to change mold and bring life to people without me beating people with do this and do that. Receive Him and live in the Life giving Spirit of Christ. That's salvation and faith with power (((ability to be))).

Obama Picks Bilderberger for Health Secretary

Infowars
February 19, 2009

Kansas Governor Kathleen Sebelius was groomed for the position of health secretary. She attended the 2008 Bilderberg meeting in Chantilly, Virginia, and the 2007 meeting in Istanbul, Turkey.

Obama has picked a Bilderberger to be his choice for health secretary — Kansas Governor Kathleen Sebelius. Obama initially picked former Senate Democrat leader Tom Daschle for the position, but Daschle “withdrew because of personal tax issues,” in other words he didn’t bother to pay any taxes because minions of the elite are not required to do so, except for public relations reasons.

Recall Sebelius, described as “a moderate Democrat,” was considered a leading candidate to be Obama’s vice presidential running mate last summer, but the elite picked CFR member Joe Biden instead.

In June, 2008, Sebelius attended the 2008 Bilderberg meeting in Chantilly, Virginia, a fact not reported by the corporate media in her home state. She was included on the Official 2008 Bilderberg Participant List.

In 2007, Sebelius attended the Bilderberg meeting in June in Istanbul, Turkey and the Kansas City Star reported the story on Sept 2, 2007. “It is a rather prestigious group,” Sebelius spokeswoman Nicole Corcoran told the Star. “She was pleased to be invited.”

Now she will be pleased to do the bidding of the Bilderbergers in the Obama administration, that is if she is confirmed and does not have any pesky tax issues or illegal alien housekeepers in her closet.

It is also fair to say that any health care agenda Obama puts forward will be vetted by the elite who attend secretive meetings initially organized by Prince Bernhard of the Netherlands, a confirmed Nazi.

Increasingly, Obama’s “change” represents not only more of the same, but a larger dose of the same as he has appointed a record number of Trilateralists, CFR members, and Bilderbergers to his administration.
