Dog's

Dog's are man's best friend
They know when to play
And they know when to lie down
They know when you're happy
and they know when you're sad
They love you for who you are
and will listen without talking back
They try and comfort you when you're sad
and they play with you, when you need some one
They will protect you from danger
and allow you to take risks
Dog's
A man's best friend.

An Eagle

An Eagle is a sign
Of loyalty and faith
An Eagle will protect
The ones that they love
An Eagle will fight
For the things they believe in
and will show their love
In ways you can't imagine
They will stand and protect
The one's who treat them with respect
and will always have faith
That the world can be
A better place

Girls

Girls are strong
and girls are weak
Some are violent
While others are not
They all have feelings
Some just don't show them
They all need to feel loved
and they all deserve respect
They all care
Just in different ways
If you love a girl
Never let her go.

Love

Love is painful
But other times not
Love can make a man
Do awful things
Most people rush it
and most don't have faith
That love will bring
Two people together
Give it time
and it will happen
It'll bring you together
Just let it be.

A Moment

There was a moment, last night, you touched the essence of me.
Just a moment that lay me bare, vulnerable, defenseless.
Silken skin sliding against skin, lips pressed against lips, fingers entwined.
A work-roughened hand scraping against sensitized skin as back arched I offered my flesh to you.
A gift accepted.

Lips trailing over moist fevered contours, soft meowlings and thighs parted in tremulous need, I lay open to you.
All that I am, all that I was, all that I will be.
A gift rejected.

There was a moment, last night, you touched the essence of me.
It was but just a moment.

In praise of women

Embedded image from another site

In a woman's heart
is spark of divine fire
such warmth to a mans night
dominant prosperity to his desire...

Then who is more worthy of praise
than women of such angelic grace
even the night sky brimful of stars
cannot match the lovely parts of woman's face!

O her hand is full with roses
she brings the moon of celestial spring
her soul is of other worldly splendor
purple ember of day break does she bring!

Would there be comfort in sickness
contentment in health without her tenderness
what relief of the days torment
could we have without a woman's presence?

O woman most fragrant flower from heaven sent
you are Eve to soothe restless past
I await the fall of your floating garment
and the noble charm you eternally cast..

Walk

Shoulders hunched, I tear my gaze from the distant horizon
And turn to walk away, feet dragging, reluctance in every step.
One, two, three, each step taking me further from futile imaginings, from stillborn desires, from unfulfillable yearnings.
Resignation darkens the sky, acceptance shadows the ground below.
I walk. I stumble. I fall.

Grazed knees, bloodied hands, torn soul.

A thistle clinging to the tattered fabric of unquenchable dreams, I rise, I walk.
Four, five, six, each step taking me towards awakening hope, towards the rebirth of want, towards passions met.
Shoulders squared, I lift my gaze to the approaching horizon
And walk, feet quickening, eager anticipation in every step.
I walk.

my journey

Forever entwined in pain and sorrow
With a future undefined
I won't dig further to burrow
And clutch my head under the sand

I braved some roads most downtrodden
Freed myself off some circumstance
While not too sickening a tale
Yet neither was heaven bound

And yes I'm all there is to it
To find myself up in a good roll
With all the bliss and happiness
Calm and serenity for my soul

And so oh Lord I ask of you
To guide me on this quest
A peaceful trek for my journey
And full of hope with all my strength.

And so it is for now I rest
Hoping all of you my friends
All the good things that life offers
And may you all have great happiness.

Thanks.

love where there is none

Tossed upon the swells
Gasping
Risen from the torments
Bottom so dark
Of the roaring ocean
Buried no more
Riding upon the waves
Waiting
Heart wrecker you are
Ensnared upon a storm
Waiving
Calling upon
A
""LOVE""

WHERE THERE IS NONE!

Or have I missed it
And it is gone?
Pinned me in a pit
That can never be undone?

About this poem:
when our mind is searching for what our heart needs yet it is elusive..

Perhaps the mind should not meddle in the matters of the heart?
