If more men

Our men wouldn't be
scattered all over the planet

But safe in their own homes

A luxury's being close to you
When I know it just can't be true
Falling deeply in love again

Creating sweet dreams and illusions

Memories of moms nurse Maxine saying to me: "you'll be back!"
I said, " how do you know?"
Max said, "you love it too much to not return!" Home calls me home much. But it has just not been the right time: maybe in the somewhat near future: I will become like a salmon swimming upstream, fighting the current w all my might to return home, to find my mate, prepare a nest in the sand bar with pebbles and join my mate there

Michigan shaped like a mitten seen from space:
One can say I am from the "thumb" area pointing to their palm hand referring to above the fingers for the petoskey area, or fm the upper peninsula land of sunsets,
Lake Superior, agates, refreshing swimming, over 11,000 lakes, home calls me home to beautiful memories

I tried to describe my beloved but I couldn't

My tongue was silent and unable to speak
My pen began to write the sweetest words
He wrote it in describing my love for a girl
You entered my heart and resided in it
A girl with very feminine features
Her hair was so black, it took its color from the darkness of the night
Her wide eyes and her pain took away the beauty of her eyes
Her cheerful spirit was as if the joy had been taken from her smile
Suddenly my pen stopped moving forward
He is passionate about describing her goodness and beauty
Apparently he had never seen someone more beautiful than her
My thoughts were confused with him
Because if we describe one thing, we are confused about describing the beauty of the other thing
When we describe the eyes, we are confused in describing the extremely wonderful facial features
I tried and tried and tried
So I closed my eyes so that I could remember or recall even a little bit
I tried in vain and all my attempts failed
Gentlemen, I will tell you how much I love her
I will tell you what it is for me
She is to me what the soul is to the body
She is to me like the air I breathe
To me it is as the eyes need to see
Humans also need food
The writer also needs his pen.
Just as the thinker needs his thoughts
I think I'm exaggerating how much I love her

by the Atlantic
nor Pacific Oceans
creeks springs ponds tributaries rivers
Lakes oceans seas gulfs waterfalls rainbows
Love
like water is Endless
Fluidity
Surely
salmon fight upstream
to return to where
their mother planted them
in the gravel found by scent then after their 5 year life cycle they swim with the current downstream to the oceans and rivers
To nest the next generation
That when they expire
the red salmon
turn into
particles of food
to feed the next generation
Love and the circle of life can't be stopped no road blocks of cement *thrown in a river *can
The salmon keep jumping over the hurdles
until they are finally home with their mate
the male and female
finally together
happy in their nest
swim to build little nests
in the gravel
for the males to fertilize
the females eggs
