The Belly Dancer

Head hung low....
Hair cascading in a jet black flow....
She sinks to the ground
As if subdued and cowed not even watching around.
A gold, coined belt looped at
Her waist
Bangles on her hand
And of a very delicate face
Trapped in a strange land....
Music wafts through the air.... and she rises, dancing on command
Going up on her toes,
Pointing to the ceiling with her nose
She pins them with her dark brown eyes....
And it seems as if even her nipples rise....
Through the sheer white fabric
Of her tunic
The skirt low on the hip
Ahhhh!!!!!! They gasp as they watch her navel dip
Feet small and neat
Stamp, step,
Beat
The rhythm in her head
The music just accompaniment
She seemed to glow with some inner fire
Only serving to light their desire
Men watched greedily
Women bit their lips enviously
Flat stomach that glistened with youth
They all watched as if struck mute
As she with gyrations and undulations
Claimed their imaginations
Slow dip down
Then twirled and rippled her way off the ground
Now, falling back head touching the ground
With ankles tucked under her bum,
Her stomach ripples like a gentle wave....
Did you know she is a slave?
To the music, and to the art of love
Hands now clasped high above
The music slows
Down she goes
Breasts heaving...
Breath panting
Back in her shell
The dance is over for now
But the men are left in heat....
Oh hell!!!!!

The wolf

They stood face to face like
two predators in the wild
In the cold
In the whipping wind
Scent to scent
With teeth that could kill
There was no where to run
No where to hide
She crouched on the cold
ground ..
She felt the fire of his
might pinning her quivering
fur into the icy snow..
He was.. the wolf.

Between The Floors

Slowly and methodically he crossed the road
Looking neither right nor left but straight ahead
Eyes glazed over as if in a different dimension
The cars whizzing past he paid no attention to

Was it a fools folly or pure sheer dumb luck
Not one of the cars travelling so fast touched him
They wove around him as if in a ritual dance
And he, master of the dance, moved on to unheard music

Reaching the other side he never hesitated once
There in front of him was the Interact Tower Building
All eighty stories of gleaming glass reaching skywards
But he did not see it, just mechanically entered within

He bypassed the lift and headed straight for the stairs
Step by step, landing by landing he climbed upwards
Floor after floor passed but he never slowed down
Nor did his breathing alter, he was as if in a trance

One could be forgiven if they wondered if he was human
Sixty floors later and he still walked as if out strolling
Step after step, methodically and totally unthinking
It was only when he reached the roof he temporarily stopped

For a moment it almost seemed as if he was confused
Slowly he spun on the spot like a music box ballerina
And then the unseen and unheard called him on
Steadily approached the West wall and climbed the parapet

There he stood, arms outstretched, embracing the setting sun
Far below the world was tiny, as if an ant colony
Slowly he looked around, his face no longer blank
Seeing everything around him as if for the first time

Emotion after emotion chased across his face
Fear, love, hate, hunger, sorrow, but most of all, regret
Regret for all he was going to leave behind
But he knew, there was no other way, no other option

One last look around and a muttered "Farewell"
He stepped off the edge, a calm expression on his face
Someone on the thirtieth floor saw a man hurtling past
By the tenth floor he had ceased to exist

There was no body to hit the ground, he was no longer here
Somewhere before the tenth floor he had gone home
Home to where? Only he and others like him know
For if there is one then surely there are more

angel

In your white dress
Of satin silk
Like a bride to be
My virgin queen

Hidden you hide
Your wings that fly
For your my guardin angel
Sent from heaven to follow me

To watch and confort me
When times are bad
Alone I feel
Empty ness

Pain dwells in me
I feel pain of life
Negative doughts
Your there watching me

I sence you waching me from
afar waiting watching
For when am down
Then your wings decend and
Your with me picking up my broken spirit

I carry on knowing your there my guardin angel
Your with me in spirit and are looking after me

The Garden of the Moon

The weather-beaten gate, with its
Squeaking,rusty hinge,
Crying in the wind, hung like a one armed man hanging
From the Gallows, waits for
A caring hand to touch.
And I, a dying bramble bush,
With corkscrew limbs,
Sit beside a pool, stagnant from the
Ravages of time,
The only sign of life, a thorn bush
Left from the day of the Rose.
Slender birds balance on a single limb,
Necks arched, dead eyes cast on swirling cones of dust
No feathers pink, conveying to all who passed,
What they were in their time.
once a home, now a crypt, the Garden has but a single visitor,
A pale light from a rocky sphere,
Passing swiftly in the night.,
Daring not to linger by day, the sun recuits a single
master cloud tomask its journey.
What life could bloom if light
Would take the tme to find,
to shine on Vines in The Garden of the moon.

Six sides
No way in side
To make hole to find are way in
What's inside

Fresh air paper thin
Air enclosed
What's inside no openings no door way
No windows
Minamal obelesic
Your now enererd the box

Once in side now way out
Your now trapped inside your box
To get out find the way you got in
Don't be trapped inside your box

Day Dreams

Spare a little change
Give some hope to me
Hourglass figure up ahead
Moving with ease
White skin in linen
Perfume on her wrist
And the full moon that hangs over these day dreams in the mist
Darkness on the edge
Shadows where I stand
I search for the time
On a watch with no hands
I want to see you clearly
Come closer than this
But all I remember are the day dreams in the mist
Day dreams
I want to close my eyes
Every second of the day
I live another life
Day dreams
It's always cool outside
Every moment I'm awake the further I'm away
Everyone is rich
It's always spring or fall
I walk without pain
In a world with no walls
Stronger in my eyesight
Golf club in my grip
The swing is true and good
Powered from my hips
Day dreams
There's something out there I can't resist
No need to hide away from the pain
Cause here it doesn't exist
The sweetest song is silence that I've ever heard
Funny how your feet in day dreams never touch the earth
In a wood full of princesses
Freedom is a kiss
