Twenty-something Lover
-she asks:
" So; the poem.. What's it about? "
" It's about an old man's infatuation
with a Much younger woman --you'll love it! "
-he exclaims
>> Now, just where do we draw the line?
And clearly there are Fine Lines between
all sixty-four squares on the board
between gamepiece and players as well
And while splitting hairs has been the norm
has been a benchmark for
quite . some . . time . . .
Why sure ! I'll have me a twenty-something lover
Love her; And show her
That she need discover
E-lectrical Po-tential
the anodes and cathodes
their incident high voltage
discharge with brilliant, violet-blue arcs
Convulse the entire Being
But will she emerge the wiser?
Will she forsake such childish notion
as kissing and telling for
~exquisite loving~
afforded su-preme design?
(comma) , (space) __ (dot, dot, dot) ...
>>That's why we’ better not

my lust,
stellar gold.
Star dust,
a story that will never be told.
In a tin can.
through a magnetic field,
like a blind man.
my fate is sealed
all insterments,
Are out of wack.
Alot of hints,
we're never going back.
Life support's failing,
It's hard to breathe.
my body's ailing,
I can only seethe.
I hate technology,
how's it failed me.
I've got no apology,
But I do decree.
Out here there's nothing,
a lifeless void.
on a quest for something,
my ship's distroyed.
1000 souls,
traped aboard.
No one left to extol,
all that we've explored.
I'll close my log,
and then my eyes.
my minds a fog,
no more blue skies.
my life is fading,
I miss my wife.
My ship's not lading,
story of my life.......
END

There is a spirit running thru me.
A guided woman of the land you see.
She was born of blood so pure.
An Indian maiden of a time unsure.
She did not seem to age at all.
Answered only to natures call.
No bonds of the white man was for her.
She ran free like the Takuskanskan.
With just the wind to guide her for all her time.
I share her passion for how she lived.
I share her strength for what the land had to give.
Two women so much alike.
Separated by years and by lands tears.
We had it all to give.
And with each gift we lost a part.
Of what is known as the Indian heart.
Here I stand I can feel it all.
I can here the sound of the natures call.
The beating of my caged heart,
Can feel the Indian maiden that was my start.

I coil, spring and launch myself,
Go soaring through the starlit sky.
On landing, launch again because,
It feels so good to almost fly.
The only sound my breathing with,
My dust in silent clouds behind,
Up to hilltops, down in valleys,
As the kilometers unwind.
Falling in surreal slow motion,
Then landing light as blooms in spring.
Sailing without boat or current,
A feeling unlike anything.
Can't come soon enough to suit me,
And always ending much too soon,
There's no way to feel unhappy,
When your're cavorting on the moon.

Laterna Magica
show images and form
a ritual dance
in front of their eyes
pitch of night
slashed by, magnesium flare
horror scenery
paralyze conscience mind
Hush, hush, hush
Says her finger's touch
ease, ease, ease
lips whisper soft
please, please, please
stay, do not leave
Armies march
to the battle ground
cannon's roar
cutting screams short
Eeny, meeny,
miny, moe
spare only a few
to return
Hush, hush, hush
Says her finger's touch
ease, ease, ease
lips whisper soft
please, please, please
stay, do not leave
Memory movies
trains of thought
root him out'a
shelter and cover
make him pay
if he holler
his crime
to survive
(
Hush, hush now
fingers linger
after she's gone
)

About this poem:
- the tricky part is that it was intended to match some piece of music, and ...well...
- welcome any comments, - posted it here ( had it in my blog ) as I started to wonder what anyone else would make of it.

Today I saw an eagle flying high in the sky
as I was hanging out my washing to dry.
I wondered which way he was heading
as I put the pegs in my bedding.
Maybe he is looking for the river mouth
in that case he must be heading south.
How wonderful it would be to be able to fly
to take off and soar so high in the sky.
Over mountains and round mystic river bends
I'd travel the world visiting my friends.
You'd see me hovering over their house
I'd be still and as quiet as a mouse.
Then with a wave and a flutter of my wings
I'd be off to check out other things.
Twisting and turning with the breeze
I am drifting and floating with ease.
Soaring high under the fluffy clouds
what a joy to be away from the crowds,
I close my eyes, I'm in a trance.
Oops! what was that ? I've hit a branch.
No! No! I open my eyes and look around
all my pegs are on the bloody ground.
