” Animal birthday party”

“This is so unfair!”
“I’ve no place here.”
Said the tortoise to the hare.
“Sadly things are so clear”.
“Even if my passion flares”
“I can never reach speed of mares”.

“Who cares?”
“Silly turtle wipe your tears”
“This is a game of musical chairs”
“No need for surrender’s flag to be hoist”
"om nom nom nom, this grass is so moist"
“Here have some, be merry and rejoice”
Said the hare to the tortoise…

Now he wasn't sulky.
The mood was hearty.
Everyone was dandy.
In the "animal birthday party."

Legend Of The Black Dove (Part 12) Final

(Part 12) "Terminal Paradox"

The story so far.... John Norrington, only survivor of the
coach tragedy, manages to find sanctuary in a cave
and comes in contact with a large meteorite that had
crashed there hours before. He collapses to the ground
and a few minutes later feels revitalised and gains
new powers and abilities. Returning to the Norrington
manor, he creates a costume for his disguise as the
Black Dove and then goes in search of his friend's killers.
He finally catches up with Jack Wild and his outlaws.
Norrington and Jenkins board a ship. They eventually set sail
back to England. On their way back the ship is caught in
strange fog, which transports them into the future, then
to the past, and finally back to their present, and they are
back home. Everything seems normal but for the fact it is
one day prior to the coach tragedy. Norrington prepares
to alter the events that would follow, As the outlaws
are coming closer to the coach with their guns drawn Jack
Wild cries to the passengers to get out of the coach,
Norrington leaps out the coach and jumps onto Jack Wild.
The other outlaws fire at Norrington. He falls to the ground
and lies there lifeless. While the outlaws chase after the
stagecoach to capture its passengers, the King's guards
approach from the opposite side and give help to
Norrington. who regains strength and disguised as the
Black Dove chases the runaway coach. He has very
little time now for stopping the coach.
Climbing on top of his horse he takes a leap and descends
on the roof of the coach, which is now rounding the bend and
heading for the edge of the cliff. He applies a hand brake and
flames leap up from the wheels. The steering connection to the
horses snaps up and the coach grinds to a halt. The Black Dove
climbs down to check on the passengers. Finding his wife Beth
alive he smiles at her, then collapses to the ground. She climbs
out of the coach. Lifting his mask she sees in amazement that
the man was her husband John. She kisses him and asks, why
he is wearing this outfit, he tells her that he is the Black Dove
he wanted to prevent the tragedy from occurring again. Then
he dies and disappears right before her eyes, Beth is in tears
kneeling on the ground. Moments later John Norrington
materialises inside the coach, wondering where he had been.
Beth turns round and discovers her man is alive, but how
can this be? She is beside herself with joy as they succeed in
repairing the coach and continue their journey to Cornwall.
The Black dove had served his purpose: by saving his friends
he had created a new timeline which never included the
heroic Black Dove, as in this timeline the Black Dove
has never really existed. THE END

About this poem:
This is the final part to the epic serial poem "Legend Of The Black Dove" I hope all the poets who read this and followed the story enjoyed my efforts in trying to bring my character to life and all the excitement of his escapades, this story was a tribute to the cinema serials that operated around the world making many children and adults happy, the movie cliff hangers ran from the 1930s to 1956, My idea was a modern offshoot to these classics.

Giant

I am a Giant and such is my Word,
A Gargantuan Juggernaut walking the Earth,
This Massive man with Monstrous hands,
His head full of Huge and Heavy plans,
So Big there is nothing that I dont see,
Im Taller than Tall, Dwarfing the trees,
My enormous eyes examine the scene,
Greatly admiring everything,
Oversized lungs exhaust what I breathe,
Pulling air past Large porcelain teeth,
Causing tornados and tidal seas,
Not just the sidewalk, Titanic,
I take up the whole street,Talking
Walking on Gigantic Sasquatch type feet,
High way up Above the clouds,
I look down on cities and towns,
And all the people look like ants,
The streets are barely cracks on a map,
Great Lakes and Raging Rivers,
Little puddles and creeks,
And Mighty Mountains are
Miniscule molehills to me...

Field of Dreams

Time Traveler
Faces, family names
A winding, meandering
Sense of place
Not far away
These hills
That feed a brook
Snow melting
In the sweet spring
Turn into apple blossoms
Covering the ground
Of fertile fields
Tilled so lightly
And made so ready
For the planting

For good or bad
The world we know
For neighbors fed
Will not go hungry
In the wind
And in the cold
Of uncertainty
Be shared instead
For humanity
And weary hearts
Who have known
No lovers
Give up
So that others
May live and breed
cast away in
A field of dreams.

A Silver Night

A call in the night
Breathed upon the mist
A silvery light
Drenching the shadows that
Kiss
With an ethereal glow
As if strangely alive
No earthly tread 'pon
The still and waiting soil
All of nature standing still
No hand there doth toil...
But yet all is pristine
Not even the owl's hoot
Or the moths fluttering wings
Dared disturbed the still, frozen scene
Hark! Upon the still air...
What's that I hear?
Silver thin notes
Do float, lending a
Transcendental quality
Translating, superseding,
Mortality

Endless years
Measurred in time

Endless time
Never ending

Constant time

Years go by
Seconds hours days weeks months years gone
With a blink of the eye
A life time for me and you

Transit lives

Desert hopes in life cycles
Transit lives in lonely space
And you are a drop of sunny ray
Within my minds endless space
You think of me like another hope in time
And me repeat my hopes desires.
The sun will set of million times
and take us away in the course of time
and moon and stars will light again
like freedoms glancy breezy air
and we repeat what is meant what is programmed
to be to share
I need to sing, and shout aloud,I need to rest and be arround, I need to speak my mind to you
like ethers sound echoing smooth,
And you are ther and im here
Like distances echoing appear

Echo of Heaven....

I was in dream last night feel
like no one else could ever feel
The stars were gazing my life
and breezes dancing in the same rhyme,
A grave Voice from the sky
asked me to leave all behind
but how can I crush my Fate
when all my life runs in vain?
Some Angels laughed upon my doughts
and some fiercey winds begun to vow
some rays out of endless space came to embrace
my lonely Fate
and suddenly i woke up
with same dreams hopes and luck....
