Today she calls him the funny time warp man
He writes in the past and after many days the words come back again
The future was tomorrow then tomorrow became today to be always when
She will still act surprised
That he got stuck looking into her lovin' eyes
And still surprised to know the past isn't letting go
The date and time was never a plan
There's no agenda to meet again
Why should she he's the funny time warp man

Her dream laid bare the African night
forest, fear and musk
beloved and woven
in this verdant meridian
The ghostly fires of the river spirits
plumes, fragrant and ancient
they are calling from the shores
shrill and elect
ride with us
rites with us
in robes majestic

"You had better come in" she said
hint of French
a plush manoeuvre
in that she excelled
no question
Porpoise grey eyes
discerning
drawn to action
you could feel the pulse
no disguise here
"Ice?" she asked
"Straight." I replied
She eyed me thoughtfully, gamefully..
"The full measure then.."
"The full measure" I replied

About this poem:
Blow going to work, think I'll just sit here and write pulp fiction, or is that pulp poetry :)
Perhaps a new genre...

Polished chrome desire
highway open-top
soft-frock mocha
rolled green
White eyed wild
Jamaican auto-pop
escort of the instant
allegro allegro
out of my head
out of my league
submit submit
candy lip-gloss sheen

“Convergence”
What is this presence behind the scene
While science and spirit converge in scream
Describing same only separate seen.
Pulse of life, pulled from frame
What prevents its passing aid
Back to that it used to be
Anchored down from thee unseen.
Across connections without cord
Therein a secret lays
Just time imagined without her hands
For mans’ demand, this maze.
Even now wise men know
The smaller that things get
Greater gifts can come from it
Along a souls subsist.
Science is seeing as faith is to feel
How to join their hands
So each may learn a greater truth
Of that beyond expanse.

The Robot wrote a poem - and got it wrong;-
(There was no feeling) - the algorithm,
The verse, and the meter (like a bad song)
Rang rough on the inner ear - unholy schism!
(T'was meant to tell how human hearts belong).
There was no passion; - music less its rhythm;-
Like Frankenstein; - Poetry without a Soul,-
Could not the inner light of people fool.
The boffins programmed a chip of silicone,
With fuzzy logic, and with mathematics;-
(And it's verse rang on the senses; - a weight of stone).
"Hooray" the scientists cried (in tones ecstatic)
"Now those who read this will feel less alone.
Who needs poets? - they're known to be erratic;-
We've got this thing down pat; - the Robot taught;-
And reduced all human love to ones and naughts."

no bottle ever drank
who would know what
scented dizzy air means
the distance between their eyes
teasing what hidden flame
covered over dearly
their pride and time
some sacred night
to sin as mates
each hunted by that torturous angel
compelled to give their flesh
and bloodied souls
to the other for their keeping
and their home
no, flee not this relentless prison
better they should within and in drink
the sweat of the other
in their close and closing tie
in union so depart
the Earth, she unable to give up
to he, the Sky
and he rain down
on her shuddering secretive bloom
too much for this life
so on forever

I want to say thank you for always being around
For even on a cloudy day....when all is not quite right
You lift me up in thoughts...from dark... to shade... then light
Sometimes I take myself off..into a magical trance and there I can imagine us together
arms intwined.... sharing a lovely romantic dance
Of course you are blistfully unaware when i shyly, quickly glance,
or maybe even dare to stare
For you're my guilty pleasure...no ...........not really there...
as in this little mind the rules I sometimes bend
For clearly in reality............you are really my dear friend
And, oh what a really cheap date I am !
No need for fancy restaurants...you can just take me to the gym
For then I can feast my eyes upon you..................... ...
as I surely get in trim
Or ,we can go to the park if you like......no cost ... whilst the air is still free
but please let's take the quite path...alone, just you...
just me
Now do please ask your other lady friend's. ..if they'd patiently wait in line
Cause..right now, right here ,in my little world............
their friend.......is all mine :))

I found a mirror
Not made of glass
My reflection, not the same
Not the one
Looking back at me, in error
I avert my eyes from my eyes
Images at odds
Now, this new mirror
Speaks words at odds
With my inability to believe in good
I found a mirror the other day
It spoke
What could be lies
Showed what I didn't see
Not made of glass, it made reflections

I’m stuck out here, no sign of life
This car they sold me broken
With dying of sun’s last light
I remember about tales spoken
No moon tonight, stars they hid
So dark I feel I’m down in Hell
No sound to hear, all’s deathly silent
This is not good, I could tell
Round and round my mind was racing
I remembered all the things I heard
Ready to pray to any god that’d listen
When something in the bushes stirred
My nose assailed, this smell most awful
Like walking death had come for me
There was only one course of action
Towards the river I did flee
The water was cold and flowing fast
Be miles away when I’ll touch the shore
Never again will I come this way
Tis the truth, I know the score
