last farewell

her sad face smiling
soft touch on trembling lips
winter is coming

Maybe now you'll know

You made me skip broken heart beats
but still thats nothing new
I smile when I see your face
but thats been done before
*
I used to seein smiles and hugs
but yours is something more
I dont know how this can be true
this is why I liked you
*
Your safe warm hugs i know I need
are tight and never end
Your smile mirrors on my face
and wipes away my pain
*
My heart stops cause of what I know
and what I meant to you
As you brought me something to love
by simply being you
*
With just one blink I see your face
As clear as bright blue seas
And yet I see the memories
that still can make me smile
*
You always meant so much to me
but in so many ways
So once you asked why I liked you
Well maybe now you'll know

About this poem:
I had the most amazing best friend, who had everything a girl would love both from his personality and looks but he constantly doubted himself. As I used to like him he always asked what did you ever like about me every time he felt insecure and I could never come up with the right words so I wrote this. And from love to friendship its still true to this day

About this poem:
It seems senryu is taking over here temporarily. I thought I'd add a lighthearted attempt.

a cactus flower

a cactus flower was born into the winter -
even snow flakes could not destruct the beauty
of the white petals between thorns

music and flowers ( haiku)

soft wafting music
drifting filling the night air
with romantic tunes

bower of flowers
full of sweet scented blossoms
alive with colour

A winter Collection of haiku's

icicles dangling
glittering silver droplets
slowly they will melt

slush everywhere slush
left behind by melting snow
land now watery

ice glistening bright
vast expanse over the lake
now here until spring

arctic snow flurries
sweep across the barren lands
settling in drifts

snow falling softly
clothing all the world in white
drifting aimlessly

a manic state of consciousness.

as transient time passes without a clue of your existence
staggering down the stairs as the thoughts are persistence
no one to here
and no one to see
all alone with you self postulation
taking the writings of the chart, you throw away all your parts
the mind of ones self becomes vague and you began to weaver
the ideas you have are all have consequences with their actions
to make love with an unknown with no second thinking then changes your perception about what love is
going on shopping sprees with superfluous splurging,
now your in debt and you are depressed while withdrawing
the sounds stay reticence while the thoughts go to bed
moving the body that was once had vitality is no a stress
irritable and tired you want to press
on the button to end it all
here comes a light that is filled with hope
you say hello to the one unknown
she says its alright, your going through casualties that were all in your mind
lets sit down and talk she says
im your wife untill the end.
