The Wise Man

The Wise man feels his imperfections and is humbled. He labors in vain for his own approbation. But the fool peeps into the shadow stream of his own mind and is pleased with the pebbles which he sees at the bottom. He brings them up, display them as pearls, and with the applause of others he delights in himself.

About this poem:
Many of us speak on things without root knowledge. And because of not having root knowledge we usually will speak about anything, positively or negatively, without full facts. We become self righteous on many levels and eventually become false prophets. And the more we attract ignorant crowds who embrace our incompleteness, the more monstrous we become.

My Heart

I am the mess of clouds form in your wake,
I am the laughter, you mistake.
Such vibrant colors behold a life forsaken to make.
All in front, in a flash.
Hands quivering, lips trembling, eyes like waterfalls.
A loss is so lost, soul shattered.
Broken and falls lifeless.
Upon the cracked ruby walls.
I am the voice spoken within the halls.
Eyes filled with nothing more but a hollowed shell.
Encased with memories, is that the sound of bones breaking.
Or a heart quaking, giving its last thump.
white roses becoming a darker shade.
The rotting, wilting ashes.
Of a foundation crumbling, here and gone.
I dream at long last of life misunderstood.
Decaying to time.
The vast open range, to be reborn upon an endless cycle.
Bittersweet and true a life forgotten.
Making, taking, breaking, forsaking, A form of Waking.
A fragile heart shattered in two.
Death shall consume.
A woe of utter despair, in the air.
I held all I hold dear.
To lose it all, within a reality dreamlike shape.
Fear over a dream, only nightmares to appear.
Such is fate, left my heart to break.

About this poem:
I was in a relationship, for a good amount of time, when she left me my world fell, no matter how I felt it decayed.
I even went to such lengths of suicide, but as I'm here, I assume i wasn't meant to end, but my feelings were shattered and so am I.

Imagine if...

Here is something for you to think about, Imagine if we was awoken each morning by the sun rays, that will tickle your skin, to the sounds of birds in the horizon how beautiful would that be,

To wake up surrounded by nature waterfalls, streams breathtaking gardens and fields. Animals playing not worrying about them getting slaughtered by poachers. A place where you can also grow your own fruit and vegetables, To explore what this world has to offer the true beauty’s of nature, we can dream hey,

Imagine this to if people supported each other not expecting anything in return, a unconditional love, a love that you automatically respond in time of need to be heard even. It seems that people are stuck in a world with their own problems, not wanting to help in a way to be heard for once,

I expect all of us to try regardless, no bull shit excuses, such as i have my own problems to deal with. Their is no need for selfish behaviour, We came here as spiritual beings to love, to protect, not for this place that i call hell, a place we live in today, is not a life where we feel free from harms reach, we need to love, not to hate. To respect people to understand each other’s needs, what is happening to the old fashioned values,

Here is something else for you to Imagine, Love is just an illusion! The connection does not exist, unfortunately love has died “so has the old fashioned morals! Happiness is just a dream Love is a feeling we dream, whatever love may be just stays in a dream of hope to keep ones soul going, to live in hope, to believe that dreams can come true,

But love what is love? We fear the mind, we fear the unknown, and we fear the truth “we fear far too much, we have reason to fear! Life is how we make it! Imagine if we all saw life through the eyes of a child? Imagine if people could have the ability to love?

Piece Of Mind

Rise all those who meet the description of desire,
Speak whose hearts are made of fire,
Dwell low who are liars,
Sing high, banned from the church choir,--
Of what was lost,
And, what is to become,
Those who have many,
And, the lonely hearts,
Who have chosen to be alone,--
Those who carry pleasure on a merry-go-round,
Step forward, those who wear a golden crown,
Faces of those who show happiness,
Behind a mask made of frowns,
Those who succeed up,
Leaving those who ever put you down,--
Learn the only value of life is death,
Between those who accept and those who deny,
Scream those in love,
Whisper love to those who said goodbye,
All of this within the wink of an eye,
Seeking the warmth of the day,
Cold fear, of what lurks in the night,--
Those who wonder to be,
And, those in some places are blind,
Still remaining able to see,
But, have lost a piece of mind.

About this poem:
It was 12-4-92 when I wrote this. Being towards very much more songwriter than poet, I started out loosely with this and it all took form. Odd as it seems, it was at the end of the Gulf War; yet, perhaps, it fits most best as of now?

City Reality

The City is a bee hive but there is no Queen....
So inhabitants have no order everybody chasing their own dream.
A colony of concrete building rising up from hot paved sidewalk,
Shoulders marching in business attire and on their cellphones they talk.
They are building something but not sure what exactly,
Only following the expectations of society.
Shoppers with shopping bags of various purchases they may never need,
Thier ego and others desired expectation they feed.
Strollers with babies pushed by bent back, tired Mothers,
Inside the exotic clubs and bars you can find the Fathers.
Theaters filled with people with no imagination,
Churches and cults with lost souls without a vision.
Teenagers dressed in the latest fashion,
Heading for a future with no income to survive on.
Yet the City draws people from far and near,
Got to get that dollar is the only voice they hear.

She arrived on the country bus with such hope, her best dress and a sparkle in her eye.
Ten years later that country bus took her back home with a swollen belly, addicted to drugs and the sparkle had died.

You don't love me any more I will find somebody new . Now my love turns to black and now it turns dust and the pain will fade away I tought I found the one I was looking for I was wrong . Now I lay in my dark room and I wish I would die cause you took my heart and made it so so cold ALL I WANTED IS TO BE LOVED.

TIME!

A Time to tell, We ask the Time, But to what do we ask if time is up! we seek what is lost and yet to be found, We find ourselves passing round and round. Looking up looking down wondering where we've gone, where we're going and what we've lost. A memory fixed a point a image in time and some in which we wish could be given another chance! Ask not what we can't seek for time is constant and waits for no one, recording what was what is and what has to be! Asking the time we are lost and have yet to find ourselves thus we seek refuge in another to bring Hope and the Light of a better outcome in what was a dark moment in our lives! The Time is NOW the Present and this being that is the FUTURE! The TIME you say? It's time to LIVE, LOVE and be MERRY!

The Little Dancer

Here she is just three years old,
And loves to dance about.
She spins around on her tiny toes,
And she gets dizzy and falls to the ground.
She gets right up and wiggles her hips,
And runs about with a jump and a kick.
The little dancer has her own little style,
She made her parents laugh and smile.
When the music stops to play,
She gives a bow and walks away.
