Dear Grandma Dearest
We have had you so long, it is hard to say our good byes,
91 years is a long time to face this earth~~~
Earth is earth and no promise to remain on this land...

Oh Grandma you were you and kindly will be missed,
as you go home to rest forever....
Grandma I am glad i was able to be here with you
as long as I was and now you do not have to suffer..

We will weep as we say our final good byes this weekend,
but it is the good bye of rejoying you do not have to
suffer no longer... Grandma we will see you when time comes
as earth has no promise on time as we are on a loan of borrowed
time~~~~~ R.I.P. Grandma~~~~

Question me this earth or heaven I live
How wondrous life O I’m in love with thee
Name me all your wish and all I shall give
For you turn this world into heaven to me
A hundred roses are the red of your lips

I looked across the empty barren field

I knocked on your door then let myself in

Closing the door wasn't easy on me
Had to let the land lay fallow awhile
Sometimes you must just let the world be
You don't just give up and throw in the towel

Returned to the field to plant some more seeds
The harvest is growing don't see a weed

Passion escapes on newly emerged wings
Take flight dear lover to heights far above
Above dull drabby dampness water brings
Stay with me awhile we twitter with love

Rest not weary souls for our lives are short
Leave all your worries with discarded ghost
Our flight will become our grandest consort

How much in life you've given me,
in many ways you taught my pen,to paint
inner truths notation, not the outward view,
though thy visage would please the scultures grace,
who would, then, on some high pedestal place,
for all to see, a womanly face so true,
a countenance, times passage fail to taint,
and, in onward years, men your loveliness see,
through the inner eye, this pen its pleasures known,
lifes guiding light, love filled inspiration,
when hearts unite in true consumation,
blank once, the paper now with sonnets sown,

I, raised from low stock is true,
but wisdom accrued, is in loving you.

Slowly crawling turning gracefully down
The box by the door waited beckoning
A moment in time passed without a sound
The time was here the time of reckoning

They came all of them huddled as if one
All so different yet all just the same
No going back no stopping at full run
Not caring if from happy or sad pain

Floating as if soaring by mighty wings
White the color of surrender or pure
What my eyes surrender what my eyes bring
Floating wings white touched my face with the cure

Dainty hand holding tightly the tissue
Catching tears as they fell was no issue
