This love it stirs like fury in my soul,
Deep feelings to deny would be a crime,
To kiss your lips, I'm losing all control,
Increasing still, despite the passing time.
Absence never makes this warm heart cold,
What should have fallen, keeps on rising new,
This secret burns my brain, I can't withhold..
A love that ne'er diminished, only grew.
Hunger for you rages in my blood,
Raw passion unreleased is growing still,
To grasp you strong, and taste your flesh I would....
Ravish you with wild undying will.
My heart enwrapped by you, like sprawling creeper,
Whose limbs I'd climb so high, while falling deeper.

Put away my basket and sewing thread
Whilst memories of how you use to be
Decidedly were better left unsaid
Each repair sewed lovingly yet still see
The scars that have changed how you once appeared
There's nothing more that I can do for you
I will don you for what you are, no more tears
There's nothing left for me to really do
Memories of colors that showed so bright
Faded replaced by a different hue
I could think of what once was or what might
Or just except you for what you've been thru
Sometimes life has a way of changing course
To move on you must let go of remorse

In distant dreams an angel 'oft appears,
In awe she wanders Springtime's vibrant hill,
As wild bird songs exalt with merry cheer,
'Mid lesser celandine and daffodil.
In this majestic slumber I am lost,
Her beauty fair to woo my smitten eye,
From sprouting buds 'till flowers bedecked with frost,
Her lips afar, I wish our kiss be nigh.
My minds eye sees her prance lush meadows green,
While cirrus sky beholds her countenance,
On Nature's throne, she reigns as Noble Queen,
I yearn tread yonder fields in fiery dance.
If I held all my dreams since life begun,
I'd hap'ly fling them all away... but one !

( A hundred thousand welcomes.)
A calling to our land of em'rald green,
I offer from the shores my open hand,
Sweet lady of fine verse I rate you Queen,
From forlorn eyes my tears doth stain the sand.
Oh! Come and bless our castles with your grace,
A love so strong as stoney fortress wall,
I long to see the wonder on your face,
As deeper in thine eyes my heart will fall.
And we could dance a céilí in the eve',
Our feet to float like shamrock on the pond,
I from your English kiss ne'er seek reprieve,
To fall in Gaelic love we would abscond.
At rainbows end a gift, as folklore told,
In Irish arms at last, my crock of gold !

About this poem:
An Irish invitation to an English lady.
I know from your posts dear that you
yearn to get away for a while....
So just for the craic come over to visit
your auld poet buddy and I'll help you
trace your Irish ancestry.
Don't mind the poem dear, that's just
the type of romantic Irish clown I can be.
You'd be very safe with Mick.

RE: Roof Repairs
Behold! These locks I once did toss
Made wretched now by leaking dross
Upon yon roof the tempest hath tost
It's fury wraught, a shingle lost
Unfold! Now thy bundled tarp
Cast it upon the rent so sharp
Make hast lest I extend my harp
Another memo, a louder carp
Beware! The next shall cc the king
From the gallows then thy body shall swing
Prithee repair thy roof with care.
I go now to wash my hair.

Gentle winds brushing back the tides of fear
Clocks ticking never stopping moving on
Coming close remains far, not even near
Sad for what might have been, but never was
Locked and hidden put away to stay gone
All my dreams now seeming so obsolete
Content to find my way in unknown ground
Where being alone seems bitterly sweet
Tides will come and go, currents will run free
The world sometimes moves at its own pace
Sometimes dreams are just exactly that dreams
Not how fast you run just finish the race
Little girl standing by familiar shore
Not wanting to play adult anymore

If we were stars in cosmogyral space,
Lost apart in nacreous endless blue,
To seek, I would like gossamer embrace,
Upon a moonbeam, destination....you.
In reminiscence of your twinkling light,
I'd fall for your aeolian warm rays,
Our fusion to ignite the lonesome night,
As showers of stardust calm our fiery blaze.
Together we could disappear through time,
To float in ataraxial deep love,
Like poets entwined in pure celestial rhyme,
In Heavens reverence 'mid stars above.
Drifting through soft moonlight psiturism,
Forever lost in dazzling starry prism.

Being with you is heavenly
To have you love me is divine,
This love we share together
has blended like fine wine,
To feel your loving arms around me
And hear you whisper my name,
I know this love we feel for each other
Will always be the same.
Being with you is heavenly
Making love with you is divine,
Whenever we are together
You make my life worthwhile,
This love we have for each other
Will never ever change
Because our love will last forever and a day.

Always happy never sad,
You make others very glad,
You are like the sunshine on a cloudy day
You chase all of the clouds away.
\Always happy never sad,
Sometimes you make me so mad
You appear to be so honest and good
Bur deep within you are nothing but a hood.
\Always happy never sad,
Why couldn't I see that you were bad
I put all my faith and trust in you,
And now I realize that was a silly thing to do.

Arms that hold me close nestling safely
Sunshine pouring strength into my bones
All gathered, it is time for the bell to ring
Progressing seems quicker than telephone
Reaching out to touch you but you are gone
Flowers essence that seems to linger on
Rain drops wash away all my cares today
As I trace the lines, the etching of life
Rocking chair holding dreams of once was there
Days and nights go on, no longer matter
Smile upon the lips and eyes glazed over
Is it dementia or mad hatter
Life has taken my youth it is now gone
My memories are mine leave them alone
